Availing themselves along the Westerly winds, Adrian takes the time to mull over methodology. Short of taking photographs and giving everything a once over, he needed to come at this from multiple directions. It would've helped to have an extra pair of hands and eyes, and that reminds him of a particular someone...[break][break]

As Yveltal descends through the mists, it delicately perches upon a mound of earthen rock before allowing its rider to disembark. Ahead of them is a strange tree which draws its focus; sliding off its side, Adrian would consider it unremarkable... But as he takes a few short steps, his sclera darkening as SHINIGAMI EYES take hold, he can see the seal, even broken, reeks of some vile aura from within...[break][break]

Just as quickly as he's begun however, Yveltal flaps its wings mightily before taking off. Adrian finds himself skipping from astonishment to annoyance quickly. Where do you think you're going?[break][break]

It is my belief that my being here imperils you. Through your eyes I shall see what you see. I will return anon once you have done all you can.

Rummaging around, Adrian can scarcely catch a hint as to how it was broken, or how it was even meant to function. Irritation wells up, manifesting as obsessive scratching at his wrists. Tch. If you won't help me, I know someone who might...[break][break]

Acting under duress and desperation, Adrian calls out the UNOWN-M that unlocked Martín del Mar's name in the Unown Report. Knowing of their connection to the Unown, he can surmise that perhaps, Martin can see what the Unown does.[break][break]

As they OBSERVE, another Unown winks into this plane beside them. The three are able to freely inspect the area with their naked eye, but it proves less than telling in such a strange setting. And yet...[break][break]

So far as Adrian can discern, a strange, geometric pattern was the only persisting trace of an AURA that manifested strongly, but the air here was suffused with an outpouring of energy dissipating unevenly.

It narrowly misses Adrian to land a preemptive strike on Exeggcutor, before retreating a few yards away. It doesn't relent, but seems reluctant to face them head on.[break][break]

From there it was a simple matter; Adrian reached for a pokeball and tossed it, hoping to secure this one for his Kalos collection. After tying up loose ends, he looks back to MATIAS SILPH: "How many Paldean pokemon have you actually seen, so far?"[break]

Did that mean he'd caught everything? Had they already completed their national pokedex, and then some? Rather than press the issue, he's liable to turn his attention away for a moment at the sound of rustling sand. He's able to fend off a pesky GABITE trying to get the jump on him, relying on his Cacturne once more. With it subdued, he lobs a pokeball at it.[break]

It wasn't often you found some wild pokemon roaming so close to home. Adrian releases a Mudsdale to deal with the MAREEP, as yet unaware of the accompanying PERRSERKER nearby. Between the equine and ovine could be little contest as the Mudsdale easily bulldozed past it, pacing itself to keep up its stamina.[break][break]

Eventually, it was weak enough to catch.[break][break]

For his part, Adrian doesn't notice his duo of stalkers, or the PERRSERKER that remains to rear its ugly head.[break]

Seeing as he's left his line go 'til the Gyarados passed through, he's quick to grab his fishing net and swing it over the Combee, placing it down and stepping on the handle to keep it there for a moment.[break][break]

Eventually he'd force it into a pokeball.[break]

Adrian almost wished he'd found it first, but smiled at how ridiculous his obsession had grown over time. Between the Black Market and his own collections, he hadn't enough pokemon to his liking.[break][break]

Adrian eventually encounters a PIGNITE, which prompts him to release his Aerodactyl. With its combative personality, superior typing and aerial advantages, Adrian is eventually able to whittle away at the feral pig until it slumps against the dirt, exhausted. He's forced to withdraw Aerodactyl before it can aggress the fallen swine, but after reigning it in he lobs a pokeball at the fainting pokemon.[break]
