The redhead man lets out a soft groan at the royalty's arrival, composing himself with professionalism far from what Lulu Flint has ever seen. But of course, a demeanor that is still flavored by his own quirkiness.

“It's not that I don't think I'd fit really. It's more like, isn't it suffocating there?”

But when he's already on the move to try reaching for, the scientist has already beat him to it. He halts, stays in his position, and waits for them to tell them what they find in the vent.

“How about we check the other vents now?”

The suggestion comes with a strangely overfriendly voice that comes before Lulu Flint and Alexandra Briarwood have found something. Unlike her, however, Valerio isn't techy and is already happy with the simple features that his Rotom phone can make.

“Uh, what shit exactly are you two looking at?”

Valerio arrives as Vanessa, an esteemed pokemon coordinator whose name spreads like fire on a grass pledge since her participation in the Littleroot Contest. She has all the connection with Hoenn's big and small production houses and when there are times that they truly need a star, it is her name that they call upon the studio.

Vanessa doesn't care much. She would have asked for additional fee if she would be obliged to appear on-screen, but the payment is already enough for her exeggutor, Coatlicue, to bask in the limelight.

And hopefully, for the good reasons.

His eyes are drawn to the clacking of boots against the metal flooring. Lulu Flint approaches with a screwdriver on hand and helps them figure out their way through the narrow passage of the vents.

“Don't tell me you also think I'm going to fit in there, Ms. Scientist?”

Eventually, Alexandra Briarwood saves him the trouble and Valerio lets the girl take the lead.

“Tell me if you find anything.”

Vanessa watched the scene unfold before her; everyone's valiant attempt at stopping the legendary and its herd results to another league official's ascension to avatarship; much to her dismay. She recalls her pokemons and start wandering around the festival grounds to look for more Rocket members and regroup.

Yuan Wright is the first person she sees.

“You're late, Mister Scientist.”

Valerio's drag alter ego is hardly familiar to the members of the organization. Only a few people know him to be doing drag but it's pretty much an open secret. Yuan is one of those people he doesn't expect to know that it's him, even when he thinks his eeffortless voice gives it away.

“We could have gotten that Bulu ourselves but it seems we're wrong on our SOP.” Against her feminine getup, her muscled masculine built is emphasized as she stretches her arms. “Now it's making me hungry.”

Twenty years into Team Rocket and its members will know how Valerio is not exactly the team player especially when it comes to these kinds of missions. When push comes to shove, he is the type to follow his guts in favor of his two decades of vigilante experience. His bosses don't mind it as long as he gets the job—which he does so most of the time.

Seeing Razz Kingsman agonize amidst the flames is enough for her to leave him flying away through Sénon Game. Seeing the sea of flames he himself helped to create, he can imagine how broken his spirit now and keeps a mental note of dealing with him later.

Because right now, Eggnog's SHADOW METRONOME is just on-time for the blonde's next move.

“I will get there soon, sweetie!” Chanel flying kisses Tiffany from the distance, the clacking of her heels against the cobblestone fades as she chases skyler dross. “Let me first take care of this rascal.”

While it fails to disrupt the veil of ice her lapras makes, Chanel's attempt to halt her teleportation is triggered by the sound of her hand dance. With every wave, the togepi's shadow energy pulls the lapras to her, crossed fingers as she hopes the teleportation to work much late. Eggnog continues her ill-intentioned metronome as her eyes dart away to the sea of fire caused by the fire and grass pledges, then turning back to skyler dross as she hurls the heat towards the sheer cold.

“Where do you think you're going, darling? You know it's disrespectful to turn away on your guests.”

TL;DR:

• Valerio arrives as ANGELINA DALLES FROM KUROSHITSUJI, wearing her trademark red outfit with the UEP badge similar to Chu-e Choi 's.
• SH!TOGEPI uses SHADOW METRONOME (which energy is accumulated from the previous round) in stopping skyler dross 's attempt to teleport
• SH!TOGEPI continues to use SHADOW METRONOME to steer the FIRE and GRASS PLEDGES' direction towards skyler dross 's Lapras's SHEER COLD.

Pool is not part of Valerio's street cred.

The closest he ever gets playing one is through street soccer where their makeshift ball of garbage or sometimes a worn down ball is being kicked to the trash bin "pocket" and they're not even following the same set of rules. He considers the game as an elite pasttime and never bothers learning it that's why it is a surprise that the pool table in his favorite bar in downtown Slateport is more than just a display for its loyal customers.

“Baby, tell me how to play that thing, will you? I'll give you half the reward if I win!”

Slate Milhaus is a Rocket, and perhaps not a lot of people know that. Not even everyone knows about Team Rocket being well and functioning not until Declan's declaration. And because of it, he knows all about the redhead Beast's antics and how to ignore it despite him being very pushy.

“The prize is a pokemon. Half a pokemon has no use for me. And it will be just a bloody mess.”

Valerio is spending his time on the counter with Slate, waiting for Cillian Quinn to arrive. It's funny how the match are made with him competing against a fellow Rocket in a Rocket-filled environment. It genuinely a curious sight to see unexpected people in this part of town, especially the likes of Remiel Calcifet and FERNANDO SILPH with esteemed League reputation.

“How about free drinks?”

“I'm a bartender.”

With the sound of Alexandra Briarwood's song on the jukebox, he gulps the last of his liquor, giving the bartender a rolling eyes and a sly grin before he dances away. He loves trying to break down the walls of guys like Slate. Too bad Valerio's not even a quarter high scaling his high barrier.

EVENT: RITUAL'S POOL TOURNAMENT

It has been months since Declan made an appearance for Team Rocket.

He would not really count the one priam conrad made up claiming that it was the Rocket Boss's birthday, although he'd consider the event successful for making a huge turnout. This one, on the other hand, holds much gravity considering the situation that they are now in. Team Rocket is finally unveiled in the eyes of the public—it is different from what they originally planed to—or at least that's how Valerio interprets it.

But Valerio appreciates the resolute decision of planting the seed of curiosity in the Hoenn soil. Isn't this the best time to cast doubts and suspicion especially when the enemy is crumbling and weak?

The redhead Beast is walking around the island, finding his way through the crowd as he looks for familiar faces. Despite his esteemed position in the organization, he prefers the company of his common folks, especially when it is his way to fulfill the duties he is asked of the Rocket Boss.

“I should've known you're the kind of good girl who doesn't miss meetings like this.” He sneaks from behind Alexandra Briarwood, who also have busy eyes scanning the sea of grunts and associates. “First time attending such meeting?”

The screeching sound of the haxoruses's tusks against the metal echoes throughout Slateport and even into the downtown of the city. The noise is unbearable for most people—Valerio included. But the sight of dragons spawning in the area is a delight on his part.

They are like axe-wielding warriors knocking out the obstacles on their sight. Never does he need to go to Meteor Falls to catch one of them anymore. He just need to test his luck in claiming one in Slateport.
