IN OCTOBER — the aftermath of the war is spent rejuvenating the region. pokemon and trainers are hard at work, repairing natural landscapes, while clearing fields and mountains of macabre remnants. still, pools of poison remain where naganadel and poipole have fallen... until they are cleaned, poor unsuspecting wildlife may find themselves within these toxic traps, forcing them to become aggressive and hostile.[break][break][break]

Jakka hadn't had a moment to stretch his legs in days. It made him worrisome to be left behind when Sénon went out into danger. He was happy to be safe from danger but what would come of him if his trainer was hurt, it made him sad to think of losing Sénon.

"Use FIRE SPIN to keep them isolated" Forming multiple pillars of fire Jakka would entrap the bugs and comatose most of them without much effort. It was just an objective cherry on top that the fire attacks burned up the poison powder in the air.

For Sénon it was nice to have his little lizard by his side again.

As the direct offspring of his original charmander starter Jakka's growth was a slow-burning effort he would care to for years to come.

For tonight that only meant burning poisonous powder defeating some bugs and helping the other rangers with transportation. Of course a gentle head rub for positive reinforcement was the most important part of the development of all.

the exeggutor's elongated neck cranes out of the rundown fortifications as it gets a better vista of the spewpa spawns. while league forces are busy rejuvinating the city from the aftermaths of war, rocket takes advantage of these community services to get a sample of the poisons that remain to soil the fertile lands of hoenn.[break][break]

valerio, riding the top of his tropical dragon's neck, immediately calls for the exeggutor to blow infestation against the creatures' poison powders: indiscriminate insects spun out of her mouth that catches the powder instead. the pair waits as other trainers attempt to contain the larvae from the poison puddles.[break][break]

The Stunfisk of Galar are odd creatures, indeed. Gavin handles his own with care as he lines its sharp steel teeth with padding.[break][break]

"We're not meant to hurt them," he reminds it sternly.[break][break]

When he's certain those nearby are aware of Stunfisk's presence, Gavin sets it down and places bait in its center. With not much experience handling bug-types, he simply trusts that it will work as intended.[break][break]

Sure enough, he backs off and watches a quivering Spewpa hop right into the waiting jaws. Lightning quick, the SNAP TRAP closes on its prey. Gavin signals to one of the Rangers on standby, then crouches next to his Pokemon and helps to reset the trap. They'd be here as long as they were needed.

this particular area was far from the sea, and dominic had to take a moment to backpedal and release his pokemon - carefully - into a nearby fountain. the water splashes out the basin as the tentacruel's hefty mass materialises and fixes its beady, questioning stare at dominic.

dominic gestures vaguely at the spewpa with a wave of his hand and sits down on a bench to smoke. in turn, the tentacruel keeps staring at dominic for a long moment and then starts to copy the other released trainer pokemon as it snatches up the spewpa in its tentacles.

Its been a long time since he's been this tired from work, but no one could question his devotion to his work as he was here again and planed to stay for their relocation afterward. To try and help Iris out he does his best to hold a few in his arms to help with their shivering and stop any poison out. For a while the small shellder seemed to be having trouble as her small size only allowed her to grab just one at a time, comfort for a bit, then try to go to another one with CLAMP. [break][break]

Though she keeps trying, when she grabbed one of them it felt tougher than usual. Almost like one was hiding a rocker underneath their silk. With a brilliant glow the Shellder evolved into Cloyster, the Spewpa seeming quite upset after the fact that it lost it's rock it was traveling it. It was definitely unexpected but welcomed as with a bigger body now she was able to hold more.

gothorita aloofly adjusted one of her lace bows. boredom consumed the goth lolita but she did nothing to combat it. because that would require effort. why waste energy when she just had to stand there, trapping the pesky bugs with her shadow tag? besides, the other pokemon had it handled.

at that moment, she epitomized that one student who did the bare minimum for a group project. humans would suffer from traumatic memories if they took notice of how little the gothorita was participating. but, like, whatever. she didn’t care a single fuck about the others. corralling bugs was just so not her thing.
