Cillian Quinn ’s message echoes on repeat over the submarine’s PA system. As countless personnel reroute to assist or evacuate that leaves one pressing question: what happened to Genesect? [break][break]

The breach in Rocket’s submarine leads them outside and into the expansive ocean’s depths. Bubbles trail after the machine’s slipstream, a trail of dissipating bread crumbs that disappear as they dissipate. Fortunately, oscar clayton ’s Ariados can keep tabs on it by tracking its heat signature while it roams outside. The heat waves dip in and out the more it travels but one thing remains clear: the Genesect remains close. [break][break]

It continues to swim around in a bid to find another way in. Unfortunately, who knows what that means? Who’s to say it won’t force it’s way in. Last thing Rocket needs is another hole in the wall. [break][break]

SHADOW LUGIA chases after the Genesect but it cannot keep up with the much smaller Pokemon. Not with the way it bobs and weaves through each rocky crevice of the ocean’s floor. With the submarine in clear view, an obvious obstacle for the much larger legend, catching it AND leaving the submarine unharmed proves impossible. [break][break]

the target was something the samurott was all too familiar with, having been used to test it during its early days of creation. unfortunately, development gets it further in the power scale and anything that the samurott may have experienced may be different to what it's currently capable of.

regardless, it has no choice as per orders of its trainer. chasing after the runaway, it dives into the deep blue and rushes after it with its aqua jet.

what comes next after it was up to him. the only instruction given to him by the simpleminded trainer was to chase after it. usually, it meant to exterminate it with all its might, though instincts of the samurott tells it to approach it with caution.

oscar clayton , Emma Wolfe , and Lulu Flint had hunted the mechanical creature to Rocket Comms just thirty minutes earlier. They were about to bust in to confront it, when the damn thing decided to turn around. Emma the ariados, having tagged the creature in the vents, began to give chase. She arrived just in time for it to end up outside the sub, sending all of team rocket into disarray. Emma was devastated; the Shadow procedure that had granted her powers robbed her of emotion and yet she could not help but feel something resembling bitterness.

A little time passed, and now Emma was souring through the water on a Blastoise steed. Her master had put her on her teammate Plagueis, who was to escort her while she continued to track the metallic being. Those who were to embark on the quest to hunt this thing down should have been instructed to watch the blastoise, as Emma would instruct it to move in the direction of the creature with a series of taps on his shell.

If her fellow hunters followed her lead, they should have no problem running down this threat. Hell, if it took too long she would be more than happy to put on some gear and swim it down herself.

Plagueis himself was less than enthused about his task. He would have liked to be under water, hunting this thing with the other water types. However, as a relatively new member of Team Clayton, he had resolved to stay focus on the bright side. At least he was being used at all, he could be sitting in a pc right now.

Ronald was still a unborn fetus in terms of listening to instructions. Up until a few days ago, he had been wild and free, allowed to soak in the sun for hours than bathe in the salty ocean. So, when given the instruction to "go and chase genestic...but evilly." he wasn't quite sure how to react. While he knew through passing knowledge that trainers were supposed to be brimming with knowledge, his felt unusually...slow.

Still, the Ronster wasn't about to disobey his trainer's commands on his first day out. So, alongside his Pokemon comrades, the walrein dove into the icy water and propelled himself forward. As per his comrades' instructions, the ice type used surf to glide himself through the water and along the set directions he was being fed via taps. He wasn't sure of a lot of things going on, but he at least knew how to follow instructions.

Marsh darted through the water, her mermaid-like body thrashing to try and keep up. The Primarina was doing her best to keep up with oscar clayton's pokemon, sleek body keeping up best she could.

To think this whole mess started earlier that day with her battle opponent being shot at. What a strange series of events that led to this.

Thankfully, she was able to use Emma and the Blastoise as a guide, suddenly darting forward to try to and catch up to the purple pokemon.

In the middle of the nonsense that was Bryan's handling of the medbay situation. He ran over to the PC and managed to withdraw his sharpedo from the pc and sent it out into the water to chase it. Sharpedo's by nature were extremely aggressive AND fast. It zoomed through the water and caught up to the party chasing the genesect. Sharpedo had caught up to the blastoise and began to try and communicate to it to let ariados climb onto sharpedo instead since he was most likely faster and told blastoise to help keep genesect's attacks at bay since he could most likely be knocked out very fast from the pokemon's sheer strength. If ariados agreed he'd slow down for ariados to latch on and then use agility to speed up a bit faster in the water and try to bite onto genesect and slow him down [break][break]

Violent and aggressive as the shadow legendary was, Lugia recognizes the submarine as an allied target. The diving Pokémon's broad wings cut through the water as it swims, tail swishing back and forth like a rudder. As its designated target bobs and weaves between chunks of rock, Lugia growls and pulls up short.

Dhelmise floats along on a spectral tide, its seaweed curling slowly around the metal of its anchor.

Gavin's order had been simple: give chase. With Lugia held back by its size, Dhelmise takes up the helm and attempts to SLOW DOWN the Genesect. Its PHANTOM FORCE allows it to phase through the chunks of rock that the manufactured Pokémon must go around; when it feels as if it has a bead on its target, the ghostly anchor fires off an ANCHOR SHOT in an attempt to ensnare its foe.

With his human having to deal with the hole in the ship Relicanth was asked to go after the creature. So off the ancient pokemon went, it has been traveling the seas for this long so keeping up with it should hopefully not be too difficult. Though whether or not he could keep up with something man made who knows. For now to try and CATCH UP the Relicanth would use DIVE to prevent any true resistance from the water.

Its back canon comes undone, aiming directly at the Pokemon’s face before unleashing a terrible TECHNO BLAST that knocks it out (until your next post) temporarily.

Their efforts had paid off. Emma watched as @byan's sharpedo did its Rocket duty, slowing down the creature with its mighty jaws. Her blastoise steed could now keep up, allowing a more precise estimate on the creature's location. Emma stared down upon her target, clicking her mandibles greedily as it slowed down. Soon it shall be unable to escape.

Plagueis followed as quickly as he could, being reinvigorated by their progress. He still wished he could more directly participate, but his role was vital to the team's success. That was enough to push him foward, they were getting so close he wouldn't dare let them down!

Rocket never surrenders!

Thanks go the Sharpedo, the mechanical contraption seems to be having trouble and slowing down a bit- which is good. Marsh pushes forward to try and use an underwater Icy Wind at the purple pokemon, the Primarina attempting to freeze the water to make the metal pokemon work harder.

In the meantime, she also does stop to check on bryan delarosa's sharpedo, trying to pull it out of immediate danger since it seems to be unconscious and vulnerable.

Emerging out from the submarine, after seamlessly drifting through its walls, the Dusclops finally caught sight of its target. The one-eyed phantom once again summoned its control over GRAVITY to try and seize the armored bug-like being, this time hoping to slowly force it downward. Seeing its exposed back, however, the djinn drifted in to attack.[break][break]

Its eye becomes covered in blue flame before it releases it forward, morphing into a WILL-O-WISP that swiftly dances forward underwater to infiltrate the Genesect's systems. Whether the attack proves to overheat the bug's battery or not, the Dusclops disappears into a barely noticeable shadow, then swiftly travels across before remerging behind its opponent (SHADOW SNEAK).[break][break]

With her large palms, Ursula attempts to grab the Genesect's arms and destroy them.[break]

The Omastar rolled out of the submarine’s pressure lock and into the open ocean. His instructions were clear: retrieve the purple beast. Apparently, there were other pokemon after it and he was to follow suit. oscar clayton’s Blastoise cast a shadow into the deep, keeping atop the creature like a homing beacon.

A metallic crunch resonated through the water as the Sharpedo crunched down on Genesect. The Omastar twitched, it’s sense tingling from the disturbance in the water. A SWIFT SWIM propelled Helix forward. A terrifying Techno Blast burst from the machine’s back and knocked the Sharpedo right off.

Helix took that as a warning to not crunch down on the creature. Instead, he harnessed his ANCIENT POWER as a fossil pokemon. Rocks rose from the sea floor and hurled themselves towards the creature, jetting through the water like torpedos.

It seems the speedy Sharpedo does what they need to do in order to slow down the odd creature which thankfully made catching up easier. Its old bones clearly making it difficult before but now with the damage Relicanth could do something this time around. Conjuring up a white ball of power to send at the man made creature in hopes of weakening it even if little could be done. [break][break]

The longevity pokémon follows up with an ICE BEAM to keep on it and prevent it from doing any further damage to the submarine.
