Seasoned doctors and interns alike gave a wide berth each time Krakentoa peeked out of the room and into the corridor, squishy tentacles moving back and forth in a gesture the Tentacruel had seen humans make as a greeting - waving.

Something must have gotten lost in translation, however. So far no one had waved back at her, no matter how enthusiastic her greeting. A passing nurse had even released a high pitched scream at the sight - which had then startled Krakentoa back into the room in a hurry. She'd played it off, of course, too embarRassed to do anything but slump against a nearby wall.

One of her tentacles reached out to pat a nearby patient's head, adjusting the bandages on their arm with the closest a Tentacruel could get to a thoughtful frown. Perhaps her strategy had been all wrong; perhaps she needed to be more friendly in her approach.

Next time, she decided, she'd try a hug.

In contrast to her Tentacruel colleague, Ophelia had no issues capturing the smiles and attention of passing nurses or patients. Children reached their sticky fingers out towards her carefully polished neck orb, staff seeming to constantly pull her aside to request her immaculate wrapping skills and an elderly patient crooned, even trying to shove a somewhat fluffy treat towards her face. All very much to her displeasure. [break][break]

Beautiful she may be on the outside but inwardly the Dragonair surely left a lot to be desired. [break][break]

She begrudgingly slithers around, doing her tasks with as minimal effort as possible. Bright sapphire eyes constantly sweep the hallways, attempting to locate an empty hospital room that she may be able to curl up in to take a nap or preen her angelic wings. [break][break]

Ophelia supposed she could find a barely used broom closet to hide in but was she really that desperate to shirk her responsibilities? [break][break]

She considers it for a moment. At least until a cute male doctor approaches her specifically. Then she figures she could help just one more time…

Chimecho was floating around working diligently on her task and doing it pretty well for the most part! Melody would be so proud! She continued to float around the halls and went on to do her work pretty well, she used her skills with the move wrap to make sure the bandages were placed around the patient's wounds properly and cleaned and kept proper. She had plenty of practice as melody also often used chimecho's move to help soothe her muscles by acting as a sort of "compression" wrap as well. A kid however began to shout as Chimecho began to cause some trouble, seems like chimecho wrapped her bandage around around the kid's head since she took to him really well. Melody was gonna give her an earful later on when and where it's appropriate to display affection.

The regal serpent was undoubtedly out of its element. For a pokemon who is much more used to taking commands from its trainer - and yes, just her - this was all too bizarre. Thankfully, the instructions for this job were straight forward and there wasn't any room for error. Solaris only had to take care of bandaging a patient or two before they'll be dismissed and replaced with a better, more natural healing pokemon.

A Blissey perhaps, if the grass-type was lucky.

It was just another day in the life for the Dratini. The pokemon had watched Eva wrap so many bandages up to this point that he was surprised they didn’t want to make use of his efficiency by lining them up in droves outside his door. Jester smiled at his WRAP. Not only was it perfect in the medical sense but it was very aesthetically pleasing . . . especially when he added the red heart into the mix. With a curt nod, the Dratini finished his handy work, motioing for the next patient to enter the room.

Despite his more erratic, borderline aggressive, behavior almost always attributed to a bit of short man syndrome, Atsu was doing well to keep himself in check as he had been sent off by Tadashi to assist in a task that was looking for all able bodies. It seemed that in being enlisted to help, despite being one of the smallest things wandering the halls of the medical facility, he was being regarded with a bit of respect, and the Bellsprout had an appreciation for that. He carried a series of gauze and bandages in his vines spread out around him as he hobbled around from one room to the next, and his natural dexterity with his vines gave him a great approach to being able to wrap up one injury or cut and move on to the next.
The grass type wasn’t sure how many more rooms he would need to visit, but with a nod and a short wave of his leaves upon turning from each spot he needed to tend to, he felt that he could keep going for a bit longer still before he and some other working Pokemon were called done for the day.

unlike some of the other pokemon in the job, the comfey is actually someone that fits the criteria for being in a medical scene. it has healing moves so it felt like it deserves to actually be here.

unfortunately for the comfey, the minimum requirement is actually the only thing needed for the job.

it wraps around the patient's arms as the procedure is applied to it. it tries to give it's own floral healing, but it's not actually needed since the doctors already had taken care of what needs to be taken care of.

it's okay comfey, we know you're trying your best.

    Kraken wasn’t pleased by the company that was surrounding him, noticeably grumpy that only one of the other Pokemon were aquatic. Even worse, the one that was aquatic happened to be an evolution of his own species, making him feel inferior to say the least. Why was he here? This was bullshit.

    The Tentacool spent most of the first hour showing them exactly how venomous he could be, purposefully knocking over containers of cotton swabs and tongue depressors when no one was looking out of protest.

    Eventually Kraken calmed down, realizing that he was being outdone by the more gentle touch of the Tentacruel. Soon he began working fervently on changing the bandages and wrapping the wounds of anyone he could find, wanting to show his worth as the superior jellyfish.
