The DRACIARY OUTPOST serves as a private lair to the aggressive alpha male BLACK TYRANTRUM known as BLACKJAW. It is a smaller version of the CALCIFET DRACIARY belonging to Remiel Calcifet and houses its own miniature ecosystem. This ecosystem has been carefully crafted to mimic the conditions of the CRETACEOUS period as accurately as scientifically possible. Enter at your own risk, secret base raiders.

「PHOSPHATE BLACK」Shiny Tyrantrum (Disguise): Iron Head | Rock Slide | Dragon Tail | Earth Power | Stealth Rock | Zen Headbutt

◓ GUARDIAN POKÉMON: Blackjaw the alpha Tyrantrum is a highly aggressive apex predator with the unique ability to DISGUISE himself in the surrounding environment. Once he is found, or once he reveals himself, he will relentlessly chase after and attack intruders until they've fled.

✨ DECORATIONS: The Draciary Outpost is decorated with TRAIL MARKERS that grant 'fun facts!' about the surrounding prehistoric flora and fauna. Visitors may also come across ANCIENT DRACONID STATUES that Blackjaw seems to respect enough to avoid smashing.

💀 TRAPS: Thanks to its dedication to maintaining an accurate Cretaceous period atmosphere, the air in the outpost is composed mostly of nitrogen and greenhouse gases. Oxygen levels are at about five percent, compared to the twenty-one percent we are used to breathing. In short, visitors will begin to SUFFOCATE if they do not find and place on a BREATHING APPARTUS found in the equipment stations peppered throughout.

Furthermore, natural environmental hazards threaten anyone who isn't too careful. This includes, but is not limited to: POISONOUS PLANTS, SPORES, MUD, and the occasional TORRENTIAL FLOOD.

Prehistoric Pokémon were truly fascinating, so building a small theme park centered around them seemed like a fantastic idea. What could possibly go wrong?

For one, needing a gas mask to even survive this miniature world's toxic atmosphere should have been a red flag on its own, but the slew of aggressive Fossil Pokémon that thought of humans as dinner quickly turned what should have been a dream come true into a living nightmare. The cherry on top was the Black Tyrantrum that gave even Andrea's own Tyrantrum a run for its money.

Relentlessly pursued by the apex predator, Andrea and Regina made their way out of the perilous secret base by the skin of their teeth, but not before the human girl reached out to grab something that looked like a flag sticking out of the tall grass.

Her words feel so lost under the mask she wears, her eyes focusing on the draconid statues scattered around the place as she moves from one to another. Though she had felt an ominous presence nearby several times, she'd found that as long as she stuck to these statues, the pressure would immediately dissipate. Was the guardian hesitant to approach these decorations? Or did it lose sight of her each time she hid behind them?[break][break]

Either way, she's careful as she picks her spots to move to, skirting around any poisonous plants that she recognises and avoiding any suspicious ones that she doesn't. And though it takes a while, she eventually manages to find a flag sticking out of a pile of rocks in the open.[break][break]

With no other options, she chooses to make a break for it, catching a glimpse of an angry Tyrantrum running right as her as she reaches to grab the flag.[break][break]

Luckily, Haru was a far more dutiful tracker than Isaac. He was also, as a ghost, immune to such pesky things such as "suffocation" and "biological needs." He was able to cut ahead, grabbing a rebreather and oxygen tank to fit onto Isaac's face.[break][break]

Isaac took greedy gulps of air, making up for all the lost time and lost air. "Phew! I owe you one for that," Isaac said between gasps. "Thanks a ton- murdersaurus rex!?"[break][break]

Haru tilted his head. He was not a murdersaurus rex. He was a Hisuian Zoroark! Yet Isaac wasn't looking at him anymore. Now Isaac was looking at the horizon, a single finger outstretched. Haru followed his finger, turning to face the sign that Isaac was currently staring at.[break][break]

Fossil fact! There is probably a Tyrantrum about to destroy you![break][break]

Haru looked around, trying to find the Tyrantrum indicated. There was none. At least, not until it crashed right through the sign, letting out a bullish roar as it ran Isaac down. Isaac dove out of the way, barely avoiding being smooshed like a pancake.[break][break]

Most of these secret bases were cute little goofs. Remiel's Draciary was pain incarnate. Every time Isaac saw another fossil fact! he groaned, knowing that the situation would somehow escalate past being tracked by the Predator's pet T-Rex.[break][break]

Nevertheless, Isaac made it out the other side. The Tyrantrum had fallen quiet. The fossil facts! slowed in frequency, then stopped. Soon, the flag was right before Isaac's eyes, nestled atop a gently sloping hill. Letting out a victorious whoop, Isaac rushed over to the flag. He hoisted it high into the sky, letting out a triumphant laugh.[break][break]

And then the hill opened an eye.[break][break]

"Oh, this is some bullshi-"[break][break]

The Tyrantrum laughed as it grabbed Isaac by the back of his shirt. Looks like Team Isaac's blasting off again!

Before, when El first started on this little trip to hunt down secret bases and collect flags, Bibidi had regarded this as a relatively safe diversion. Certainly safer compared to the work El would inevitably get into in the future when they became a full Ranger, or their tendencies to want to investigate things like the distortion from some time ago.

This, however, was certainly not that. Having to rely on gas masks, and navigate through a hostile environment in search of the flag... Just who in the world was the person that made this base?! It was thanks to a mix of Telekinesis, Teleport, and the like that they were able to safely navigate the place... But it didn't help things when they eventually found a flag hidden amongst a few of the Draconid Statues, only for a large Tyrantrum to suddenly reveal himself with a mighty roar..!

Safe to say, the second that things got too dangerous for the alakazam's taste, she didn't care what El thought in the moment. They were out - picking up El in her arms, so that she could Teleport out of the base. Whoever ran the place probably could live with losing a couple of gas masks in the process, cause she had no interest in heading back in to return them.

With a combination of her SYGNA SUIT and a BREATHING APPARATUS located a a research station nearby, Shalin could at last look around the CALCIFET DRACIARY. Astride her bobbing Beedrill, she scanned the ancient biome for the base's flag. It did not take her long to find it atop a steep crag. Sliding off the enormous wasp's back, Shalin landed on the rock formation's peak to claim it, only to find that the rock was a giant, black Tyrantrum that had camouflaged itself. The girl instinctively placed her hands on the draconic dinosaur's neck and held on tight.

This was going to be rough.

Entering a ramming stance, the apex predator dashed about the draciary, slamming its body into rock formations to try to unseat Shalin with the force of the impact. "Yeow!" Shalin cried as the Tyrantrum bucked and thrashed her. What a ride! The Pokémon overpowered the wannabe dinosaur rider, flinging her from her perch and in Blackjaw's path. Her Noivern scooped her up just in time. What a scary place the prehistoric ecosystem was!

Josh's new SYGNA SUIT gave him the environmental protection he needed to survive the toxic, cretaceous DRACIARY OUTPOST... well, at least after he interfaced the outpost's BREATHING APPARATUS with it. Rather than dealing with the megafauna, Josh explored the place from the back of his Aerodactyl, Meteos.

After a few laps of admiring the Draconid statues, the base's flag atop one of them, a screech from Meteos caught the disguised Blackjaw's attention. While the Tyrantrum's true form was still veiled, it took a DRAGON TAIL swipe at the unsuspecting Aerodactyl and rider, sending the unwelcome intruders flying toward the entrance. Thankfully for Josh, the Aerodactyl broke his trainer's impact against the heavy metal doors!
