As Julia watched the graceful movements of the Gardevoir swarm, she was reminded of just how much Pokémon had influenced people. Not just because they worked, played, and fought alongside each other, but because they had clearly taken inspiration from one another. The feelers of a Sylveon must have inspired people to create ribbons and bows. The Gothita line was surely responsible for the Gothic Lolita fashion popular in certain parts of the world. And, of course, the shape of the lovely Gardevoir had to have led to the creation of elegant ball gowns. Julia couldn't imagine herself wearing something so fancy, but it was still lovely to watch the flowing shapes of the Embrace Pokémon.

[break][break]All right, enough getting distracted by that. Isaac Merlo had mentioned that Ralts would be a good Pokémon for Julia, and she was inclined to agree. Their line was drawn to positive emotions, so all Julia had to do was be her usual self, and she had this in the bag!

[break][break]The Gardevoir, with their ability to sense emotions, must have known that Julia was watching them from afar, but they only paid her heed when she stepped out of hiding and into the open. She smiled warmly, channeling thoughts and feelings of friendship and companionship. One Gardevoir approached her, curious.

Mint sits watching, his Luxray perched as the pair watched the hoard of Gardevoir in the moonlight. "I don't want to piss them off..." he said watching their strange tendrils spin and flutter. As the Gardevoir posed and danced, he nodded to his Luxray. "Get me a Ralts buddy." he ordered.

Truth be told, she was sometimes kind of irked by Pokemon that seemingly wore clothes in their natural states. Not trainers dressing up Pokemon in little costumes or such. That was often kind of cute. But Pokemon that looked like they had clothes on, but it was just their skin or something? That was often sort of creepy.

But Eve kind of made an exception for the Gardevoir line. It just looked pretty, like they wore a ball gown or something like that, without seeming like it was some kind of skin dress. She had seen actual dresses that looked a lot more like that, much to her dismay. So, Eve liked watching Gardevoirs. And, as she looked about the place, Ralts’. She did want one for herself, after all, but she did not want to force it. These ones were rather peaceful, after all. She did not quite want to interrupt them, if she could help it.

She could've sworn she'd seen gowns similar to these Gardevoirs back in Castelia's high-end boutiques; serene and beautiful, graceful with every stride no matter who wore them. Watching the swarm go about their day made her wonder whether the designer too had been watching them like she had, inspired to recreate their elegance.

But to Brynn, the Gardevoir reminded her of something else. A peculiar pair that it seemed to form... and she'd heard the rumors too. So the Unovan too would attempt to catch one. And maybe she'd be lucky enough to call one her own.

Remiel arrives onto ROUTE 102 to watch. He'd been surrounded by GARDEVOIR and GALLADE his whole life in GALAR. To see them gather in such numbers was always a marvel, however.

EARL GREY takes a more active approach in contrast. The SHINY SINISTEA wades in to socialize with the Garevoir and dance. It weaves through as gracefully and silently as a flowing BALL GOWN at a masquerade. The royal prince, in the meantime, watches as his butler makes fast friends with one of them.
