El was, quite honestly, blown away by the sheer volume of attention that Behemoth recieved in the wake of his Focus Energy - especially when they came to see just how many points they recieved, compared to the competition. For how flashy everyone else was, did the audience really appreciate the straightforward and simple performance they made that much?

It certainly was something they needed a minute to sit down for, just to process the sheer difference in points on the board.

Behemoth, on the other hand, was as pleased as punch about it all. He gave a satisfied snort as the final performance wrapped, nodding to himself as he was already prepared for the next round to begin. He'd make his trainer proud, and show everyone just what he could do!

Which, the second round came quick - and though El was sure their heart would beat right out of their chest, they would get up and move on stage. With the help of Bibidi's Telekinesis, a number of targets would be set up on the stage - for none other than Behemoth himself. And once everything was prepared, they'd turn to their companion. "Are you still feeling pumped, Behemoth?" They'd question - though their voice was raised for the audience at the same time.

The Nidoking gave a confirming bellow in response, bringing his fists together. His blood was pumping, and he was ready to show off to everyone as a result!

El grinned at this - the excitement of the stage beginning to quickly outweigh the nervousness they felt before. Glancing to the audience now - and perhaps improvising a little - they'd call to those beyond the stage, asking "Is everyone else feeling pumped, too? Why don't you show us how you Focus Energy!"

There would be a space of time to allow the audience to give their own input - and no matter how quiet or loud the reception they recieved would be, it was clear to see that Behemoth was raring to go regardless. Perhaps even a little impatient, if the way his tail swished and his gaze stared upon the targets was of any indication!

El, though, couldn't help but give a gentle laugh upon noticing Behemoth's behavior. "Alright - I think I've held Behemoth up long enough." They spoke - letting out a soft snicker at how the Nidoking suddenly snapped to attention at the mention of his name. "One benefit my buddy's smaller size and upbringing has - which some of you probably already noticed - is that he's pretty comfortable moving like a Nidorino, just as much as he is walking on two legs. In fact, he can get pretty agile when he's charging on all fours - and this is prime time for him to show it off!"

With a point in the direction of the props, El grinned to Behemoth. "Megahorn, Behemoth - show those targets who's boss!"

And with that, it was showtime.

With an eager roar, Behemoth launches himself forward - once more dropping down to all fours as he charges. His horn takes on a verdant glow, becoming longer, thicker, and all the sharper. He wastes no time in striking the nearest target he sees - letting his horn pierce through it, and then giving a swing of his head to toss the skewered prop aside!

As he moves on to the next one, his claws and hooves slam against the ground in rhythmic thuds, like the beats of a drum. Ones that echo the beats of his heart as he strikes aside the next target and - without even stopping or slowing down - twists his path around to charge into the next! It is the display of a noble beast allowed to go wild and show its power, the display of a King proving himself.

And prove himself he shall - for though he takes a twisting and roundabout path on the stage to knock down each target, there is one that is noticeably larger and sturdier than the others, standing as the centrepiece. This one is saved for last - for a real show of just how strong Behemoth can be.

When the time comes for this final target, it's then that he rears back up onto his hind legs and stands upright. He turns to face the target, and snorts - angling his head low. He stamps and paws at the ground with one foot once, twice - and with another mighty bellow, he charges forth, his horn still poised!

The Megahorn impales into the bulk of this target - and it skids back across the stage from the force of Behemoth's charge. With a snarl, he grips onto it with his claws - and with a mighty heft, he lifts it up with his arms and horn both! He holds it up high, as if to show his triumph to the audience with another roar - before more-or-less suplexing it behind him, swinging his horn backwards to dislodge it and send it tumbling!

Huffing, puffing - it's clear he worked himself hard in making as short of work of the targets as possible. But he stands tall, holds his head high, puffs his chest out, and pumps his fist into the air all the same - ready for the audiences' reactions!
