It was true, after all. That the sword could drive anyone into madness.

Seeing as how many people were still flocking toward the cemetery and trying to grab the damned thing out of the rock. Even if there was someone who had already succeeded, he knew that there would be someone else who could stand up to this first ‘King’ that had already been crowned.

He wondered if such a Mage like himself could do it, considering that the weapon was something that was not in his player class…

Ah, whatever.

Silently flinching as he watched the last attempt end badly in an explosion of pixels, he walked up to the hilt, and placed his hands on his waist. Wondering if this was going to be worth it.

Ah, screw it.

After all, it was too good to pass up, and who wouldn't want to be incredibly strong in the game? It'd help them gain experience, help them defeat their enemies - becoming unstoppable was considered to be the prize in front of him, and he'd be a fool to pass up the power the sword would give him. he comes back after he has died. "thirteenth time's the charm," he mumbles, still knowing that the likelihood of him pulling the sword out of the stone is near zero. trying's free though, so he'll try this until he gets tired.

kyle walks up to the sword and stares at it. multiple players have also tried and failed the rng roll, and he's about to do it twice in a row. his hand holds the hilt of the sword, watching the ribbon wrap around his arm.

"here goes," he mutters to himself, hyping him up before he readies himself to reappear at the spawn.

This was tiring but she wasn't about to give up. With each try she was sure she would be the next winner. The prize was too sweet to stop trying because she died a few times trying to reach it. No goal was ever achieved with a defeatist attitude and as long as she could try for it, she would. And so here she found herself once more at the sword's mercy, her hands wrapped around it's hilt, saying a little prayer to any god that granted luck. She wanted this badly, and she was gonna get it..Hopefully.

"Why do I even bother? This is such a pain in the ass.", Rikiya commented, as he waited in line. Like the days before, many had tried and failed to pull the sword from the stone. Even if he was complaining about just how slim a chance it was to pull the blade, he wasn't going to give up anytime soon. He was far too invested in trying to get the rewards. But in the end, he had to wonder if he'd ever get it.
