THE SECOND ROUND CONCLUDES. Suddenly, the tree grows once more. It breaks the floorboards some, and a large branch emerges, curling over half of the stage. It may prove to be worrisome for some of the contestants, for it makes it difficult to traverse across the stage without hurdling over it.[break][break]

The mic stand falls before Cooper can even get to it. Rather than picking it up, Cooper gives up in advance. Instead, he uses his loud voice, his diaphragm put to good use: "COULD I GET AN ENCORE OF AN ENCORE FOR CHUBS? Cooper looks to Bailey and her Spheal before gesturing over at Rex's Aerodactyl. "SUDDENLY FELT LIKE I WAS IN TH'CLUB WHEN THAT ONE PERFORMED."[break][break]

He describes the stipulation for this round: "THIS TIME, WE WANNA SEE WHAT Y'ALL CAN DO WITH ONE POKEMON MOVE. ONE MOVE ONLY, Y'HEAR? Y'CAN USE IT THREE TIMES. ONE MOVE. THREE TIMES ONLY. Y'ALL GET IT?" Cooper shouts, "CAREFUL OF THE BIG BRANCH THOUGH. DUNNO IF THAT WAS INTENDED OR NOT."[break][break]

GUIDELINES

Ensure that you ROLL ONCE with your post; salac berries can be used. The single roll will account for every outcome.
This round too, if your pokemon feels threatened/nervous, you must ROLL HIGHER than the pokemon that threatens them! Failure to roll higher will cause you to lose half of your appeal points. If halving your appeal points results in a fraction, the deducted amount will be rounded down.
Tag another character to threaten their pokemon/make their pokemon nervous. You can not tag someone who has already been tagged.
There is an obstacle on the stage now! You must roll above a 50 or else it may hinder you, resulting in a loss of appeal points.
This round, you can only use ONE MOVE for a maximum of THREE TIMES. For example, you can use AURORA BEAM THREE TIMES, but you can not use any other move.
The judges will also allocate appeal points to their favourite performers of the round, but they will not be able to give appeal points to the same contestant consecutively.

Once again, Rex Drago's performance seems to enrapture the crowd. Nova grinned-- perhaps he'd win! [break][break]

But those cheery thoughts did not last for very long. The tree just seemed to grow more and more. From beneath her mask, Nova frowned, worried that it may get in the way of a person or two. She wondered just what was up with the strange plant. What sort of strange sorcery could have caused it to act up in such a way? [break][break]

Regardless, "Alright Drayco, just like we practiced before!" Nova whispered to the Dragonite. He'd seemed quite nervous a few moments prior, but Nova prayed that by performing a trick they've done countless times prior, his haughty mojo would return! Nova reached to her side, revealing her knightly sword prop. It was a copper sword that had been beautifully painted. Alas, it was still a prop. Its tip was dull; incapable of truly injuring anyone. [break][break]

Nova had chosen it to be copper for a reason. It was quite the conductive material. "Now, my loyal wyvern, let's show the audience just how mighty you can be!" [break][break]

The Dragonite roared aloud, pumping a fist into the air. His clenched hand began to circulate with electricity. A Thunder Punch. He punched down into a more solid-looking portion of the stage's ground, letting off a low-level, yet enrapturing wave of electricity spread across the floor before fading away. Next, the Dragonite faced Nova, a bold look in his eyes. [break][break]

He charged forward with his Thunder Punch. Nova swung the sword but Drayco caught it in his hand. Some of the electricity traveled from his fist to the metal itself, giving the prop the appearance of some powerful saber. A small bit of energy crackled around the metal and Nova hoisted the "weapon" over her head. "Huzzah!" [break][break]

Finally, she slashed downward. Dragonite parried with his Thunder Punch. The two initiated a swordfight. With every swing Nova made, Drayco met it with his Thunder Punch. Everything had been coordinated beforehand... But it certainly appeared like a true battle between master and monster!

@nova 's performance was...terrifying. Rex swallowed with difficulty, patting One on the shoulder and whispering to it, "W-we gotta do something like that, don't we? Something hard to do." It didn't matter it looked really difficult and might hurt, if someone could do it, he could, and would do better. [break][break]

Rex's hands shook slightly as they made their way on stage, him seated safety on One's back...well, safe for as long as they weren't going to do their act. He could only hope One actually understood, and wouldn't mess up. "Let's go." He left the rest unsaid, Don't you dare crash. [break][break]

One leapt forward, already building incredible speed as it ran straight across the stage, a purplish energy crackling on its skin as it approached the root blocking the middle of the stage. Suddenly, One leapt, trying to clear most of the root except for the claws. Giga Impact dissipated even with the little tap, exploding outwards in a flash of light. Flapping to regain balance, a move that hopefully didn't appear a mistake, One continued on the spectacular speed, making a tight turn as it whipped towards the root once more. Another Giga Impact started to build up, wavering around One's body like a fog, and making another flashing explosion from a single tap. [break][break]

One more time. One circled around, rising off the ground and hanging in the air just a moment. A sudden roar shook the air, drawing all attention as One dropped out of the sky, a Giga Impact looking ready to destroy swirling around its body. Perhaps it would have slammed right into the stage, had Rex not been on its back. The impact may be too much on a ground that might not give way. At the last moment, One pulled up, but the energy kept going. The purplish energy swept across the ground like a wave, pushing and rumbling against the ground as if trying to break through. [break][break]

Rex watched with a devilish grin. That was pretty hard to do for One, and a difficult act that looked like a fight? It sure looked good from up here...he only hoped nobody whined about nearly breaking the stage. [break][break]

Vanessa and Maia were waiting for the perfect opportunity to use this trick. The kingdra would have gracefully slide through the podium with her SWIFT SWIM before she uses the final trick up her sleeves. The crowd would cheer and accept them both, the coordinator will reward them with ribbons, and team rocket will succeed in the on-going raid.

But the reality was far from her imagination.

The contest ensues, the ivory oak at the town center continued to grow amidst the performances and the cheers of the participants and the audience. What was supposed to be an amiable gathering was now sullied with suspicion—at least for Valerio. It looked like even Armstrong was not aware of what was happening. At the backstage, Maia gave her trainer a worried look. She assured her that their friends would be safe and she would contact them after.

As more branches rolled on the platform surface, Vanessa knew that with all the diablerie that was happening on the stage, both of them had to improvise. Excitement filled the watchers as the lady and her dragon appeared from the curtains once more, flashing a taunting smile to evan fader , the galarian rapidash’s owner, before stepping outside. Her wooloo coat dropped from her initial position as she flaunt her silkened skinned hugging the bulky body of the 38 year-old man.

“It appears we can no longer perform our original stunt,” the rocket tried so hard to keep her voice soft and small, “but that goes to show how beauty can be seen with improvisation.”

The duo leaped from the hurdles before they positioned on a relatively safe part of the podium. In a similar fashion, the kingdra raised her snout, not before she turned orange and casted DRACO METEOR towards the sky. The vermillion ball of energy hurled upwards and as it plummeted, another DRACO METEOR was summoned, and then another, until all three orbs connected, pulsated, and bursted into a colorful display of yellow and scarlet fireworks that illuminated the grounds.

Vanessa just hoped the wisps from the blast did not caught fire with the tree.

Some communication issues backstage prevent Stormy and Apollo from taking the stage for the second round - nullifying their attempts to spook the other Rapidash taking center stage.[break][break]

Fortunately, they've always been good at bouncing back from adversity and they do so again without fail. Stormy watches as the tree grows out from under the stage. The floorboards crack and split, uprooting as an obstacle is posed on the stage. It was no matter, a little show-jumping never hurt anyone.[break][break]

Stormy approaches from the far side and remains there. She appears to be wearing a suit of armor, wielding a sword and shield. She lifts the visor of her helmet to wave to the crowd just as Apollo makes his way across the stage. Between him and Stormy lie the arching branches that pose as an obstacle. [break][break]

Apollo arches his neck and stamps his hoof, however, smoke pushing from his nostrils as he snorts in anticipation. Stormy knocks down her visor and begins to taunt the stallion. He puts on his show valiantly, the horn on his forehead beginning to glow with intense power.[break][break]

Like a practiced knight, Apollo advances on the tree, brandishing his SMART STRIKE with agility and prowess. He cuts through the branches ahead of him, leaping over any roots that might trip him up. He lands lightly, hooves clacking against the boards as he charges Stormy. [break][break]

The woman waits patiently, shield up as he comes in hard to SMART STRIKE a second time. However, at the last moment she breaks away to parry, using the shield to defend herself as he pushes past and she avoids a direct hit. Apollo races past her, whirling on his heel and kicking out his back legs before approaching again.[break][break]

This time, however, the stallion rears up to crash down. He meets Stormy's sword with the final SMART STRIKE, the impact jarring as he knocks the sword from her hand and brings his horn down to her shoulder. She gasps, chest heaving with exertion as their performance ends.[break][break]

Together, the pair turn around to throw up their arms and rear up high before waving and making their way off stage.[break][break]

Chubs watched the other performances, and it almost seemed like the small ice-type understood that repetition would be key for this round—or, maybe, his enthusiasm just came from the fact that he was here in the first place. The mind of a Spheal was a complex thing.[break][break]

He would clap at Valerio Dachev 's performance, and knew that the spotlight was coming closer to him. Not because he understood timing, but because of the simple logic of “spotlight mean go.”[break][break]

When light focused on the small circle, he felt his confidence swell and performed another wave for the crowd. This time, they waved back.[break][break]

Ice ball was the first move that he used, but not completely.[break][break]

As it seemed like ice was starting to take its rounded shape around his body, he would end it. From the ground to his belly, a bowl of ice sat underneath him; clear like crystal.[break][break]

Gently, he would do what Spheal were known for, and spun in place like a cloth to polish the edges. Like a trained ice sculpture, he knew when to pause this process, and when to add to his simple creation.[break][break]

Another ice ball, but this shape was not fully connected. Segmented like the quartered wedges of an orange, four unconnected sides of a sphere fell from him and to the bowl—he would spin, emitting just enough cold and just enough oomph for these wedges to soften and connect to the original shape; petal-like in their smooth edges as they fused.[break][break]

He would pat them down, one tongue sticking out as if he were a painter measuring distance with a finger.[break][break]

Ice so thin that it would seem simple to snap; he spun another ice ball and added to the process.[break][break]

Gently, gently, his soft hands and cold body would shape the petal-like bowl that now seemed more reminiscent of a flowering bulb, ready to open its petals.[break][break]

But he was not done.[break][break]

Bailey knew the cue, and when Chubs began to waddle in her direction, she would meet him on stage just so she could pass a bouquet of actual flowers—white lilies and blue roses—to him. He chomped on the bouquet and held it in his mouth as he carried it back to the crystallized flower bulb.[break][break]

And, after a moment of struggle, would set the blooming flowers into the vase-like construct; light refracting off the polished petal-like surface.[break][break]

The beauty came from the repetition, as each addition shaped it to be its current form.[break][break]

“Wah-wah!” He said as he gestured to his creation, and his pokemon cry almost sounded like he had said ta-dah.[break][break]

[attr="class","ithread"]the audience's positive reception is surprising. iris simply hadn't expected this amount of praise. as she leaves the stage to yet another round of enthusiastic applause, she finds the stiffness in her shoulders beginning to lessen. an almost smile has settled on her face.

while many would see the next round as a challenge--and rightfully so--iris is as least grateful that her choice in moves has been narrowed down. only a fraction of her munna's moveset was versatile enough. after taking a deep breath, she readies herself to enter the stage once more.

a MAGIC COAT bleeds across the stage. it's reflective surface glistens against the light and seems to ripple underneath iris' steps. it looks as if the floor has become glossy sheen of water.

while she is tempted to utilise the tree as Stormy Silph did, iris is anxious of what would happen should she damage it. she doubted the rangers would be happy if she ended up making trouble instead of competing like she was supposed to. still, that does not mean she can take inspiration. at her signal, her munna casts another MAGIC COAT. it envelopes the stage once more, this time hardening the watery coating, turning it into a mirror-like gleam.

after letting a moment pass, iris stamps suddenly onto the floor. a wave ripples out from the point her heel lands on, shattering the mirror coat in its wake.

the final MAGIC COAT spreads the floor in a way similar to the first. as it makes its way along the stage, it catches the mirror shards, rearranging them. almost entirely transparent, to those in the right place, it seems as if they are moving of their own accord. it is only when the coat completes its journey that the audience will realise the image it has creates. the swirling petals of a rose stand out on the stage.

A gentle hand settles on the back of the pokemon beside him, gentle and cautious of the petals that stick to her side. Though many of the performances are worthy of note it is Chubs (Bailey Cooper) that does not only hold his attention, no the spheal makes the man grin with gentle mirth. By habit, a reflex of the mind Evan crouches in the spot where they stand off stage as he watches. Almost like it might bring him closer to the scene by doing so. There is a simple beauty in the pokemon's actions that he feels most others may not be able to capture.

When he looks up it is to see his own pokemon just as enamored by the simplicity behind the performance. The soft chuckle at the pokemon's final comment on his own work serves to break the spell enough to pull trainer and pokemon alike out of it and back into the fray of the contest.

A pat on her back brings her attention to him, the set of eyes matching her. "Threes it is then girl, do you remember what the number three is?" she nods and with another pat takes to the stage without him.

The pokemon trots to the middle of the performance area, navigating it with care. Only after she has nestled herself beside the tree does begin, the glow of her horn soft and subtle. The colors of her pastel veil slip through the cracks, trailing over the tree and through the air. The first psybeam seeks the sky in dazzling wonder. The soft light pulling the colors of her veil around it into a swirling of color that splits at its peak, raining them back down upon the stage like small stars that twinkle with psychic energy and dim into nothing a moment later.

It comes again but this time it seeks the crowd before them. This time comes with greater energy, building off the previous psybeam and the small stars still falling on the stage. Pastel pinks and purple take hold in the area and fill it with the color only to be illuminated in a beam of energy that pops and crackles before the crowd. As the stars near the eyes of the spectators they can better see how the psychic energy swirls and mesmerizes them.

Those that stare too long may even find it sending them into a dreamy state, the confusing nature of the energies taking hold.

As the last of the stars fall to the floor, dissipate before the eyes of those watching, the greatest of her psybeams strikes the sky, raining down before them with an even greater display than before, like fireworks made of magic, leaving stars in their eyes.

She walks off stage before they can finish falling, leaving no trace of where they come from, and none of where they are going.

Well, at least that attempt went over swimmingly.

Andrea had no idea if she was spacing out or something, but it was now the final... the final round?!

What?! she screamed in her head. At least she didn't have to worry about anything too much, considering this was already the finale.

However, when it was her turn to ascend the stage there were roots already growing out of it, therefore making navigating difficult to say the least. "Whoa, careful there Arsi!" she called to the Primarina following her.

It was now or never.

Seeing as they were allowed to use one move exactly three times, she was banking on this one. Hopefully she would impress enough.

This is difficult... but we'll do it! she thought as she helped her Primarina get into position. Winking at the crowd in general, she then nodded at the Primarina. The dual-type then began to use Sparkling Aria, singing beautifully as many, many bubbles began to appear across the stage.

Dancing around them, she made sure to touch several here and there to pop them. Colorful bubbles burst into iridescent explosions of rainbow-like flowers, before she continued dancing across the navigable area.

A second chorus from the Primarina signaled another Sparkling Aria, this time the first batch of bubbles all popping at once and melting before the second batch took their place. Bigger than the previous batch of bubbles, these slowly popped one after another as the dual-type shifted to a rising melody.

The third round of Sparkling Aria produced the biggest bubbles she could manage, the second batch all melting into some iridescent-like foam before returning tk its watery form. As the final rpund of song swelled up, the last of the bubbles all popped, producing a rainbow-like effect across the stage where Andrea was now dancing with Arsinoe, hand in flippers.

Once the song ended, the two took a bow and left the stage as quickly as possible.

Ensure that you ROLL ONCE with your post; salac berries can be used. The single roll will account for every outcome.
This round too, if your Pokemon feels threatened/nervous, you must ROLL HIGHER than the Pokemon that threatens them! Failure to roll higher will cause you to lose half of your appeal points. If halving your appeal points results in a fraction, the deducted amount will be rounded down.
Tag another character to threaten their Pokemon/make their Pokemon nervous. You can not tag someone who has already been tagged.
This is the final round. You must use EVERY SINGLE MOVE your Pokemon knows at least once.
The judges will also allocate appeal points to their favourite performers of the round, but they will not be able to give appeal points to the same contestant consecutively.

Call Rex what you will, but he was good at seeing things that were going on. In this case, he noticed an odd little trend. People loved using ice sculptures! For a final act, how good would it be to one-up them all? They could do it? Who beat One, after all? [break][break]

Perhaps it was just his imagination, but he liked to think the audience was awaiting something great, so he gave it. [break][break]

Again, One entered with his fangs flashing, much like he began. Ice Fang grew once more, and flashed with electric energy. A Thunder Fang conducted easily through the attack, giving it gleaming lights and an electric current. One found one more aspect today as well, it made it really easy to seperate the ice from his jaws. After it had grown a sufficient amount, it split away, rattling to the ground, intimidating jaws of ice that One circled around as if to inspect. [break][break]

Next was Ancientpower, popping into life in front of the prehistoric beast, who grasped it and whirled into the air, a swift Sky Drop to place it neatly in front of the jaws of ice. [break][break]

The true show was about to begin. The familiar glow of Hyper Beam built in One's maw, building to a certain point, smaller than before, and aiming at the back of the jaws. Perhaps it was obvious, but the resulting attack would still looks amazing. The heated beam exploded outwards, just controlled enough to not destroy the jaws, while still obliterating the Ancientpower in a glittering explosion. [break][break]

Rex waved breathlessly at One, a cue to just finish it. One heaved forward and tacked into the ice jaws, Giga Impact eliminating all evidence that the show had even happened. A spectacular end that he didn't know if anyone but One and him could do. [break][break]

It was the final round—wait, wasn’t it the last round earlier? Or was this a chance for those who weren’t able to do much to catch up?! Either way, she was more than a little concerned as her attempt to literally fill the stage with bubbles fell drastically short, tripping this way and that.

What’s up with those roots anyway?! She thought as she looked down to check on the status of her costume—while there were rips and snags here and there, the important thing was that there was nothing too damaged or any visible injuries. The way the roots had spread over the stage was rather disconcerting though, which made her do a concern for a few moments.

Now the trick here was to use every single move in her Pokémon’s move set—but without a set, definitive theme this was going to be a bit of a challenge. Either way, this was going to be an interesting take on things, seeing as someone had decided to open the ‘final’ round and had made quite a show.

Now it was her turn.

Once the spotlights had dimmed out, she appeared from the right side of the stage, seemingly alone and wearing some kind of robe. Behind the scenes, her Primarina was standing near a microphone, and the moment the spotlight shone down on her, a sweet Singing voice began to permeate through the area.

It was her Primarina on the microphone.

As Andrea began to sing herself, softly at first, the curtain behind her rose—revealing said Primarina still Singing into said microphone. Afraid the song was too soft to be heard, the dual-type then segued into a combination of the previous as well as Hyper Voice, to extend the range.

As the song now echoed throughout the area, countless little bubbles began rising out of nowhere, shrouding the stage in a wall of what appeared to be Sparkling Aria. While the effect had previously gone unnoticed the last time, this time it was a literal screen.

Although, behind said screen it was difficult to see. Andrea was shedding the robe to reveal another outfit underneath, and shortly afterward the wall of Sparkling Aria bubbles seemingly evaporated—but in reality it had just been ‘slashed’ by her, wielding a wooden sword.

Now moving as one, both Andrea and the Primarina did their best to catch the attention of the crowd—said Primarina using Captivate in the process while she gave them her best knowing wink. As the song faded, the Primarina then threw out a sudden show of looking appealing, using Baby-Doll Eyes before raising her flippers and taking aim far above the stage.

A Moonblast erupted from the flippers, soaring high before finally erupting into a thousand small little iridescent flickering spheres of light, illuminated by the stage lights far above.

Now that they were done, they beat a hasty exit after taking their final bow on the stage.

The final showdown.

Despite the late contest jitters and anxiety that possessed the rocket and her kingdra, Vanessa managed to stay calm for the final act. An all-out performance with all the moves at Maia’s arsenal. Vanessa sneered. Who could beat the bond that built her and Maia’s friendship? The amount of trainings they had to create the best line up for battles and contests?

It’s the final showdown.

Vanessa walked the stage, bare skin showing partially covered by blue satin. The wooloi coat was no longer needed: she needed to be bold and daring. The contestant nodded at Rex Drago as he finished his performance with his aerodactyl, recognizing the inate skills the fellow rocket had—but not without a fight. Her arms began to move in a wave motion as she recited. “It’s coming down on me.”

Maia, behind her, casted HYDRO PUMP towards the sky. “Water like misery.” The kingdra dived into the stream of water, twirled as it used ICE BEAM, blasting sands of ice from the stage. Vanessa continued her dancing and singing. “It’s coming down on me.”

Maia finally landed into the platform in front of her trainer, pirouettes as it RAINY DANCED to the tune of Vanessa’s melody. The mixed ice and water from the earlier move was then pulled back by gravity in a form of mizzle. “I’m ready, rain on me.”

She clapped for a few seconds, encouraging the crowd to do the same. Once the rocket had the beat that she needed, she signaled Maia to continue.

Rain poured down the stage, the percussions from the clapping audience resonated in the crowd, and Vanessa broke into voguing while reaching her pitch. “I’d rather be dry but at least I’m alive.” The kingdra casted BLIZZARD as large pieces of snowflakes and hail stormed the podium. The puddles and ice that filled the stage was then pulled towards the center and spouted the pair upwards with SURF. “Rain on me!”

With her final words, another firework from the dragon’s DRACO METEOR bursted and concluded their act.

[attr="class","ithread"]throughout the contest iris has paid careful attention to the responses of each contestant. the audience, much to her surprise, are nowhere near as fickle as she expected. she can't help but think the repeated applause is a mechanical reflex--one good performance determining the reception of each following.
[break][break]Bailey Cooper seems to be in similarly good graces, though she can't understand the appeal of her spheal. that wasn't to say she couldn't say the same for her own pokemon, however.

her palms have been clammy since she first stepped onto the stage, but they seem to prickle as the announcer continues.

iris casts a wary glance towards her munna. she has half a mind to leave the contest hall and never look back--it is what she would've done, had the fear of losing her place in the world again not weighed so heavily on her. the furrow of her brow is clearly visible as she enters the stage, though the severity of her gaze is lost once the lights dim.

"don't mess up." she mutters as she moves into a sitting position. her munna only replies with a flash of her eyes, iris falling to her HYPNOSIS moments after. her last thought, before she succumbed to sleep, was how she loathed the league for putting her in such a position.

as a summoned MOONLIGHT falls upon her, iris' expression appears far softer than how she normally carries herself. the munna settles to stand beside her, continuing her performance without the guidance of her trainer. a WONDER ROOM envelopes the area, but instead of its trademark shimmering tiles, the munna weakens the move so a twinkling light reminiscent of stars is scattered about the darkness. underneath iris' sleeping form a MAGIC COAT is summoned, pond-like in shape. the reflected moonlight coats both iris and her munna in an ethereal light. finally, the stage has been set for their final performance of this contest.

floating to rest on iris' head, a pink smoke drifts from the munna's forehead as DREAM EATER comes into effect. with the help of PSYCHIC, she is able to mold it as she pleases. atop of the curling branches on the stage sits the figure of a girl; two pokemon by her feet, a mudkip and munna, play by her feet. she seems to peer curiously at her sleeping counterpart on the opposite side of the stage. when iris begins to stir, the dream-mist figure gives a start. by the time her eyes are open, it is gone altogether.

The final round. [break][break]

Stormy's palms sweat as she finishes changing into her final outfit for the evening. She's definitely sweating at this point and she can't tell if it's from nerves or the strange commotion under the floorboards or the fact she was wearing a dress that was absolutely over-the-top and heavy. It literally weighed her down, but it had built-in fire-power to help her perform this last round. Hopefully. If it didn't backfire completely and ruin everything.[break][break]

She probably should have tested it first, but she hadn't bothered to make a trial run dress. Did anyone actually test-run things anymore?[break][break]

Regardless, she dons Apollo in metal knight's armor, fully equipped with shin-pads and scary-intense helmet. It wraps around his unicorn horn and even extends it. But behind the stage, she'd had to wrap up and press his leg with ice. Apparently sometime during the performance, he had been injured by the tree - probably in retaliation because he'd swung first.[break][break]

Fortunately, Stormy had managed to wrap up and hide the injury fairly well - and Apollo wasn't the type to admit defeat. He'd prance onto the stage without a second thought, not giving the bruising and cut any thought. [break][break]

As they make it on stage, Stormy is walking alongside Apollo instead of across his back. Her incredible black dress is overflowing and beautiful, tiny black gems catching the spotlight as the stallions opens the field with a beautiful MORNING SUN. It acts as a spotlight for the stage, illuminating both of them in soft light.[break][break]

It works in his favor to also alleviate some of the aches in his leg as well, it seems. The extra boost of energy pushes him to break apart from Stormy in another elegant dance of stamina and prowess. Sweat beads and glows on his white hide, his grey flames bursting with renewed energy and confidence. He jogs around her rapidly with an AGILITY, dancing around her and lifting his legs high at Stormy's every command.[break][break]

And then they break apart, Stormy 'collapsing' at the feet of some invisible foe. She kneels, pushing behind her and between Apollo's sharp hooves to escape just as he bounds forward, head bent to perform a quick series of MEGA HORN, SMART STRIKE and SOLAR BLADE. The incredible burst of solar-powered energy crashes to the stage and blows away the strange shadow on stage. Stormy reaches up to caress the beast's cheek in thanks before they continue.[break][break]

They're both breathing heavily at this point, weighed down by their previous performances and the literal weight of their costumes. But their final display of power and prowess is nearing its finale.[break][break]

As the final piece to their performance, Stormy climbs on Apollo's back and the pair leap through a dazzling FIRE BLAST. Like a hoop of flame they crash through it, and in the process Stormy's black dress turns to flame. It burns away brilliantly, leaving behind ashes and smoke to reveal a blood-red dress that hugs her figure. Apollo's metal pieces fall away at their heels and they arrive on the other side of the blast, unscathed and renewed. As if they had been freed.[break][break]

With that, Stormy giggles and takes a bow alongside Apollo, giving the brute a pat to encourage him to push himself back up from the dip and make his way off stage. His legs tremble, but their show is complete.[break][break]
