[break][break] When the battle is over, Ollie returns him for a bit of rest but goes over to Lutgarde Dijkstra to greet them properly, a hand thrown carelessly around their shoulder.

[break][break] But it's a trainer's job to keep their pokemon in check when they can.

[break][break] The PAYBACK comes swinging, just as the Pikachu summon a MAX STEELSPIKE. The ground rumbles, splits, and creates crevices for grey pillars to come spinning up like drills, either to defend him or - more hopefully - pincer the bear into pieces.

[break][break] The POWER-UP PUNCH smacks Tofu in the side, much to his chagrin. The Pikachu scowls, energy swirling around him as the Dynamax band around Ollie's bicep begins to glow.

[break][break] With that, the Pikachu triples to size. He looks like a giant, clownish skyscraper. His roar echoes across Lilycove, probably be able to heard from wherever noah faber is thinking about which shoes he wants to buy with his winnings.

[break][break] Luckily enough, the HYDRO PUMP that goes slamming into him is enough to right him. He splashes down against the pavement, but the mixture of pain and momentum has him righting himself back into his proper senses, like plunging his head into ice-water.

[break][break] Now, rather than confusion, it's only righteous anger that is in his eyes now.

[break][break] Growling, his body illuminates with light. It whizzes around his body, before ricocheting off like several missiles in the form of a DISCHARGE attack.

[attr="class","textbody"] Sylv is not the only one indignant. Tofu is too. He can be stubborn with the best of them, especially when it comes to things like battling. He was annoyingly competitive when he could be.

[break][break] So in contrast to the other's indignance, the rat is decidingly smug as he sees his attack make it's mark. Which makes it all the worse for when the DISARMING VOICE sings through the air.

[break][break] Thinking quick, Ollie raises his arm to trigger his Dynamax evolution. As light swirls powerfully around the Pikachu, tripling him in size, he hopes it'll be enough to take in the incoming damage.

[break][break] It protects him from blunt damage, but not quite everything, as it sends him tumbling back into the pavement. By the time that the Pikachu is back to his feet again, he is grimacing, wincing from the pain of it all.

[break][break] It was a relief to know that kyle lopez thought the same thing as him. It would've been kinda foolish to think about otherwise. He couldn't think of a pokemon more loyal than Mocha, after all.

[break][break] "We might not have a Sygna Suit, but we do have this!" His arm raises, triggering the Dynamax band that sits comfortably around his bicep, glowing with light. When the Pikachu is imbued with a similar power, he grows to triple his size, looking like a giant, chubby skyscraper in the middle of Lilycove's landscape.

[break][break] The SHADOW SNEAK pummels into him, but given his new size, it feels a little like tiny punches rather than a full-force attack. Tofu combats back with an MAX STEELSPIKE that aims to knock the Poochyena off his feet.

[break][break] Set the grass on fire and get rid of the advantage of his TRAILBLAZE attack. Unfortunately, it's not nearly quick enough. Before the Taurus can set him aflame, Tofu ends the battle with one last DISCHARGE attack.

[break][break] Tofu.

[break][break] Still, Ollie's a good competitor so when he walks over to the center of the field, it's all in congeniality and humbleness as he offers a hand out to shake.

[break][break] The battle ends, swift and sure, and all that's left in the remains is a Pikachu - normal-sized, mind you - knocked out onto the pavement. Ollie jogs over to the center of the arena to wish him a good job and then return him to his pokeball before going over to their opponent.

[break][break] Given the eventful nature of the fight, Ollie can't help but be impressed.

[break][break] Still crackling with electricity, the Pikachu grimaces at the painful attack before trying to maneuver himself ontop of the charging bull's horns. If he gets to the top again, he'll aim another DISCHARGE attack that explodes vibrantly around the battlefield.
