[break][break] Ollie grinned, which only faltered slightly at her question. He blinks for a moment, and for a moment that sunny demeanor in his expression clouds over. Unlike DESIREE BLOOMS, his love life was more cloudy.

[break][break] And just like that, the brightness is back. Like a sunny day that can never fade, Ollie smiles at her, expression equally playful. "Aw, are you flirting? Careful — Thomas might get jealous."

[break][break] Meanwhile, Tofu galks briefly at the weird, naked creature before deciding that - naked or not - it was still his opponent. Ollie's Dynamax band glows, rising the Pikachu to the size of a skyscraper. With a booming voice, a G-MAX VOLT CHARGE cuts the field in two.

Eventually, his grip slackens and the pikachu is thrown afar, slamming against the ground as he tumbles backwards in the dirt.

[break][break] He doesn't need to be told twice. In fact, he doesn't need to be told at all.

[break][break] Tofu is already back on his feet by the time that the n-syllable pops out of Ollie's mouth. He shakes his fur free of dirt, electricity crackling around his small, fuzzy body.

[break][break] However rather than engage in that rodeo again, he tries something else. The ground beneath them shakes when suddenly the crest of a wave emerges behind him, ressurrecting a SURF aimed to drown.

[break][break] He'd wanted him even before he'd known what wanting was. Back when things had been easy and simple, when his days had been full of sunshine and promise, and the thing he worried about most was how many laps coach was going to make him run around the field that afternoon.

[break][break] The Head Ranger pulled the other towards him, so willing to drown, as he felt the desire and heat radiate off the other men. Rain and water splashed around them, hands tangled in the other's collar to keep him close.

[break][break] This wasn't like all of their other kisses, the ones that had been when they'd been teenagers too drunk and stupid to know up from down, left from right. This wasn't like kissing PENELOPE LIVY, which felt like coming home. This wasn't like kissing GIDEON GRAVES, which was like a soothing balm after a scorching summer day.

[break][break] This was Caleb and for that, it made all the difference.

[break][break] Beside them, the frosty winter crawled up the skyscraper of a Pikachu, freezing him further. Groaning with pain, Tofu fought back, releasing a torrent of MAX STEELSPIKE to put some distance between them.

[break][break] Ollie pulled back to breathe in the sharp, salty tang of the air.

[break][break] 'I need you.'

[break][break] Eyes smoldering, Ollie stared into the deep ocean of Caleb's eyes as he spoke to him, lighting a fire that had been long left to ash. His heart tumbled and leapt, swelling at the implications in his friend's words.

[break][break] "Caleb," he said, as if it was the simplest thing in the world. "You've always had me. Since we were kids, it's always been us — me and you."

[break][break] He leaned forward, hands pressed against both sides of his cheeks, to kiss those swollen lips.

[break][break] "Yuck!" The Head Ranger winces as he lifts his foot in the air. Large globs of purple leaked from the bottom of his sneakers, just as he hears noah faber. He lets out a laugh. "Are you sorry?" he shouts back. "You don't seem like it!"

[break][break] But it's all in good humor. Ollie doesn't actually mind. In fact, it's even more thrilling in a way, to be behind these two giant behemoths.

[break][break] As the battle continues, and the electro ball races across the field, the last thing either Ollie or his pokemon are expecting are for the pokemon-trainer duo to move in sync and jump on top of the attack.

[break][break] "Woah!" Ollie exclaims, feeling all sorts of excited once more. He raises his arm, the Ranger band gleaming on his arm. "We can't let them show us up, Tofu! Let's go bud!"

[break][break] Tofu DYNAMAXES, multiplying rapidly into the size of a skyscraper. The RAGING FURY crashes into him, but thanks to his size, it makes it all that much easier to take the attack.
