Elise hasn’t seen Unown before and apparently, they were rather elusive to let people get closer to research them. The witch ghost that floats beside the diplomat doesn’t think the F-shaped Unown would be a threat, but she does think the smaller psychic type Pokemon was rather adorable too. She swears that she could see one of the Tera Crystals, small in size, gleam in the small light that comes to Area Zero. [break][break]

“It is a pleasure to meet you, Nomi.” She’d give a warm smile when the university student gives her name. “My name is Elise Calcifet and it’s a coincidence that I am also a student at Slateport’s university.” Though she had missed a few classes due to situations that were out of her control, the professors had understood that sometimes, she did need to balance it with her full time job as a diplomat now.[break][break]

As Nomi asks if Elise is here with any specific organization, the ambassador replies with a small shake of her head. “I work for my country’s affairs, so I don’t think I really am here on the job of a specific organization. The Tera Crystals did interest me, that I will be honest about.”

No matter how she tried to state that her own words and intent wouldn’t be what Galar did, it remained dreadfully clear that Remiel Calcifet indeed had actions that spoke louder than any words she can make up to convince this man of the non-existent guilt her country had. He stood taller too as he said this, a stark reminder that he’s the bigger man who had more power in this region than she can ever have.[break][break]

“Then…” The Galarian royal ambassador takes a deep breath and calms herself, instead of shedding tears of defeat on the spot. She knows that she’s royalty, first and foremost, and a royal princess does not cry or show weaker feelings. “Mr. Silph, what must Galar and I do to show in actions that we are to convince you of our trustworthiness?”[break][break]

Fernando was insistent, sure, but she can’t give up on everything that Remiel Calcifet left behind in a mess. “Because if I show you that I can clean up my elder cousin’s mess from his time in Rocket, I will perhaps be able to earn that trust back from Hoenn’s government.” She replies to the man’s cutting words to her. “I am very much aware that my predecessor has eroded that trust and I’d want to change that completely even if it goes against Her Majesty, the Queen’s wishes.”

A Grim Neigh cleaves through the night air as the sound of hooves hit the pavement of the historic looking city of Rustboro. The opulent manor of an heiress in Rustboro City’s wealthy companies wasn’t too hard to spot for the ambassador, Elise is here to take the invite to the formal party. When Llamrei stops near the entrance to the manor, the Galarian Ambassador in her dark blue rose themed gown in all of its royal splendor dismounts from the ghostly mare and leads her to stay outside.[break][break]

“I will be back in a little while.” Her white gloved hand strokes the mane of the shiny red Spectrier before the Calyrex shard does his part to pet the horse too. With long white gloves and her ivy patterned black fascinator atop her head, Elise does look the part of being a Galarian princess by birth and station. Both the ambassador and the shard of Calyrex enter the heiress’ manor through the front entrance from the metal gates. [break][break]

When Elise is received by the servants of the mansion, they lead her into the ballroom that held the formal party filled with dancing other wealthy men and women and a table filled with refreshments and drinks. She tells the Calyrex to stay by her side while she gets a glass of sparkling water to drink though the ambassador isn’t hungry yet.[break][break]

Unluckily, she wouldn’t have a partner for that dance. Elise gets herself to an empty plush sofa and takes a sip out of her glass before setting it on the table. Charles takes a seat on her lap while he watched the other wealthy people havie a good time, maybe that heiress was having a good one too.

Through the winds that sweep across the ocean, the diplomat can’t hear msot of what Lars is talking to. He probably was far from her when they separated to do different jobs and hers was to get the rest of the wild Pokemon out of the Sea Basin Pokemon’s range. She’s grateful that his shiny Metagross was there to assist with the Wingull because…[break][break]

Those Pokemon were all afraid of losing their home.[break][break]

“Thanks, I’m grateful for your help.” She says to Ro when the four legged metal behemoth brings the Wingufll over to her Noivern’s direction. Her Noivern helps to lead the astray Wingull to safety while the Wailmer follow the flying dragon to that area too, one that had calmer waters than to deal with the mess that Lars was dealing with.

The other Pokemon that the Lunatone takes note of is a simian like Pokemon who appeared to be doing something on her lonesome. Upon closer look, the simian doesn’t seem to notice the ambassador or her Lunatone though this one probably was the counterpart to Elise’s Passimian. Since the wild Oranguru finished her task of sorting the pebbles on the ground for some young Pokemon to play with, she leaves the pebbles over to any wild Pokemon that could come across them.[break][break]

At this point, Amalthea the Lunatone floats over to look at the pebbles that the wild Oranguru was working on. She doesn’t move them in case that another Pokemon could see this and get a bit upset over the rock type Pokemon playing with their toys.

For a moment, the ambassador remembers what the Calyrex asked of her before he bestowed her the shard. “Oh, I apologize for misunderstanding your question at first, that does make me happy that my bravery pleases you.” She responds with a little nod. “I’ve lead with grace when I took a few missions with a senior ranger and during Sheriff Navy and I’s time at the penitentiary itself. I helped to give everyone a piece of hope in escaping if we cleared the tasks that the wardens ask usto do.” [break][break]

She’ll clarify a bit on her own too while the Calyrex talks about the Galarian hound’s heart resting within Navy, the heart of his ghostly steed in him, and the war being upon the region soon… A topic that she knows it’s inevitable within the Calyrex’s mind.[break][break]

“It is imminent that war will soon descend upon this region, that I can feel it too.” The Galarian royal spoke worriedly though the other statement that the Calyrex speaks about does make her curious on what it meant. “I am curious, Your Majesty, what do you mean by your other half being readied?”[break][break]

Thoughts about what Navy spoke to her about working with legendary Pokemon still made her anxious for her elder cousin, the prince.

When Elise sees a Tandemaus look at her, she sees that it’s the couple of two mice instead of their family. The diplomat already had a Maushold which evolved from the Tandemaus and waves at the two mice who were holding hands before the Tandemaus wave back at the human ambassador. Amalthea the Lunatone floats over to the Tandemaus as she’ll greet the mice too though the Tandemaus appeared to be scared of the floating moon rock.[break][break]

The Galarian diplomat would continue to watch for other Pokemon in the area. She’ll be accompanied by her Lunatone while she doesn’t think her Lunatone was trying to scare off the wild Tandemaus.

The Calyrex shard fusses a little bit with his outfit when Elise ends up having him wear a chef’s hat and uniform as her assistant. Complete with a pair of sunglasses, the ambassador thinks that he’s good to go as far as the disguise is concerned. Charles is her assistant Pokemon for cooking at this year’s Steel Chef Cooking Contest and one that she plans to win this time![break][break]

When the first round had a prompt of making food from the Kanto region, Kantonese food was something that her mother’s family indulged in often when they were able to cook it. “Alright, Charles. We should make my late mother’s favorite which is chicken egg fried rice.” She smiles at the Calyrex with his chef’s hat and she’ll get right to cooking with a wok.[break][break]

(And no sane person would use an insulation stove for this.)[break][break]

Throwing in the rice into the cooking wok, she would first whisk a full egg yolk in the glass bowl with chopsticks before chopping the spring onions and the garlic to put into her rice. Charles helps in adding the chicken broth to the rice while the whisked egg yolk and the chopped spring onions were thrown into the rice. [break][break]

She sees the Calyrex help to chop up the chicken pieces to put into the egg fried rice and she helps to put the pieces into the wok filled with the fried rice and the ingredients all together. After the chicken egg fried rice was done from some wok tosses, Elise turns off the heat and pours some of the chicken egg fried rice into a plate for all of the judges to try.[break][break]

“It is a favorite in my family: chicken egg fried rice. A recipe from my mother's side that's been passed down through generations.” The Galarian ambassador takes a small bow as she gets another plate of her dish and gives a spoonful to her Calyrex. He gives a content “Cro-rown!” when he chews and swallows down the rice.[break][break]
