when priam flashes his keystone, marcel reaches into his collar for his own. he keeps his keystone on a chain around his neck, easily hidden under his shirt, without the risk of dropping it in a more fast-paced scenario. marcel shakes the chain a couple times before tucking it back into his shirt; as he does so, the urshifu begins to transform.

priam's sentiments are echoed, but marcel keeps his thoughts to himself. instead, he begins to circle the mega-evolved urshifu, examining it. "what do you know..." he mumbles, mostly to himself.

"hey," marcel's gaze land on another pokemon, "get that sandshrew." his exadrill breaks into a run, charging at the sandshrew with DRILL RUN. the wild pokemon's knocked off its feet, and marcel throws a pokeball.

"for fuck's sake," he hisses, "i thought i told you not to fill up the infirmary."

not caring for abner's response, marcel marches over to the unconscious rocket. a quick glance over has him ordering the nearest grunts to carry him to the infirmary--so long as he received medical attention quickly, he'd be fine.

when priam holds out his glass, marcel eyes the drink warily. though he's made a point not to drink today, when the alternative is letting priam keep the cocktail he feels he has to make an exception. besides, what's the harm in just one? his eyebrows shoot up as he take the first sip. "the hell did you order?"

the second sip is much slower, more reluctant. he's about to comment again until the sound of his cover name has him turning behind him. "thea!" he smiles, surprise evident in his tone. "i didn't know you'd be here." his attention moves from Alethea Ivanova to the girl beside her (Ruby Walker); for a moment, his mind goes back to the basement in littleroot. "miss walker, right?" the smile does not falter.
