the restaurant is full of people he doesn’t know and frosty can only do things he is allowed to.[break][break]

in mauville, electricity has been see-sawing for days and this hotpot diner is having it worse. with broken air conditioning units and electric fans, the customers have been chilling themselves much to mister baldy’s embarassment. this is frosty’s first pokéjob but even if bergmite is just a tiny creature of glacier, he vows to do his best and provide comfort to the hotpots’ patron.[break][break]

“ice, please!” shouts the mohawk guy from table seven and the ice chunk pokémon rushes with his tiny feet before summoning a blizzard into the customers. the guy and his company of riders are stunned—one, for the sudden blast of snow into their table that sends their pot of gogoat stock flying over the table; second, is because they are frozen in a wall of ice. frosty blushes and sweats his icy body, dashing towards the kitchen, never looking back.[break][break]

an ice massage was just what doctor stone cold ordered for these sweaty patrons. as his large hands were encased with ice punch he gently rubbed the patrons backs and heads with them in order to give them a nice chill that ran down their bodies and cooled them down almost immediately. some people liked it more than others and the ones that didn't would leave a complaint about having a large pokemon suddenly show up behind them and disrupt their meal with a sudden spike of cold. still the ones that did enjoy it were much more appreciative of it and would give the large yeti a gracious tip here and there that he could always bring back to his trainer. In the meantime being a personal cooler was still a busy job that needed all of his attention.[break][break]

Athena is quite honestly in love with this place. She'd never been to a hotpot place before, and the aromas would make her really hungry if her owner hadn't already fed her with an even greater meal. At times, the alolan vulpix gives in to curiosity and hangs back to watch the wonderfully diverse combinations of dips that certain tables pick for their hotpot. She's trying her best, though! After all, there's an alolan ninetales among the pokémon helping out today. She has to leave a good impression.

The vulpix's ears perk up at the call of another customer. Barely noticing the work of her fellow ice pokémon, she jumps off her current table and goes to meet a new hotpot. The smell of tofu wafts into her nose.

This was his first time doing something called a pokejob. He has never heard of it before. Back home, there was no such thing and didn’t really understand why his trainer sent him to do it. It didn’t make sense to the weavile. Wasn’t his trainer suppose to being working? Either way, the weavile found himself rather bored and uncomfortable in a warm crowded place. He had to admit, it smelt good in here.

With his arms crossed over his chest, orbs flickered back and forth as he watched waiters move frantically through the large room as people demanded for something cold. It was only when a male human motioned for him to follow that Atavias moved from his position. Weaving through the tables to follow the human until they came to a table. A rather large male mean mugged the hell out of him. And while the human shrunk away, Atavias only huffed.

“I asked to be cooled off,” the human demanded with anger tone, standing up to start a scene, “If you don’t provide me with excellent service, I will-“ At the moment, the weavile took in a death breath and sent an ICY WIND at the humans face to shut him up. He gasp for air, icy participles formed on the edges of any hair that was on the human face. The waiter froze, unsure of what to say. The human blinked for a minute before he smiled. “Thank you,” he chuckled, sitting his fat butt down and returning to his food, “I’m nice and cool now.”

Atavias huffed, arms crossed over his chest once more as he turned to leave and wait in line again. Stupid humans. He hated them all. Maverick was lucky he liked him otherwise he would freeze him too. So weak and fragile but think they rule the words. Pffff.

[attr="class","spiral"]Fernando's Glaceon is the most spoiled of his bunch. It shows in the way the Pokemon works. What's supposed to be a job taken up by his Pokemon is nothing more than an all you can eat buffet. The Pokemon's presence alone is enough to permeate a small chill — nothing outstanding but a far cry from the seeping heat flooding in every time someone opens the door.

With little regards to which table needs it the most, the Pokemon curls up beneath one of the customer's tables. On occasion, it partakes in chewing on whatever spillage is dropped by accident, mewing for more to anyone suckered into falling for its COVET.

Stormy's Ninetales has taken to swaying her tails and pacing up and down and in between rows of tables. With every shake of her tails, snow and ice is bedazzled along the edges of furniture. She doesn't stoop to begging for food, nor does she accept anything tossed her way. She is better than hot and spicy food. If it isn't plated specifically for her, she is not interested in sloppy seconds.[break][break]

It seems, however, that she is taking great care to keep the restaurant cool. When asked, she lays her chin in the laps of those in desperate need of something to help lower their body temperature - but they could only look, not touch.[break][break]

Several other Pokemon skirt her path and attempt what she excels at, but she keeps her head high and her focus on her own goals. She is pretty sure she could have handled this all with one paw. [break][break]

Ballistic the Weavile did not want to be here. He was a fighter not a worker, he thought these mundane dayjob shenanigans were beneath him. Yet his master sent him off anyway, and now he had no choice but to help out. How sickening.

Not willing to be reprimanded for doing nothing, Ballistic did the absolute bare minimum to get by. He continuously crushed Ice Shards in his claws, and lazily sprinkled them into dishes to cool them down upon request. Sometimes customers would ask for more, to which he reacted by crushing up more ice and throwing it at their dumb sweaty faces. They probably would have complained, if the Preassure from the vicious dark type hadn't convinced them to shut up and eat their food. At least the thrown ice dust would help keep them cool.

Verglas the Alolan Sandslash had been ordered by Igor of Team Rocket to partake in a restaurant job. It was a strange request for a few reasons, mostly being the non-combat aspect, but nonetheless the Ice-Type obliged.

While others might've stayed more active Verglas opted to stay in the restaurant's main cooler. Acting as a little boost to the giant ice box and freezer the foreign Pokemon would find at least some solace in being able to keep to itself during the mission, save for the cooks who would come and go as needed for supplies.

And this was how Verglas' part in the job would go for the entirety, boring, but efficiently.
