INFORMATION
THE DESMARAIS PATRIARCH IS COMING TO TOWN. With the goal of expanding his winery business on this side of the globe,
Selena Desmarais’s father formalizes his entry into the Hoenn market with the help of her daughter (although she doesn't think this is a great idea considering their relationship).[break][break]
On one cloudy afternoon in Lilycove, cargos of wine and other liquor all the way from Kalos convene in the Lilycove docks, waiting for their transfer to their new headquarters in the city. Workers cladded in orange suit invades the city with their floral aroma as the residents become wary of the preparations they set up in the City Plaza.[break][break]
Days before, posters of the Grand Bake-Off circulated the region, enticing bakers from all over Hoenn to participate in this cooking competition. And in the next few hours, Lilycove will witness the grand opening of Desmarais Inc.'s first office in Hoenn through a baking showdown.

THEME
THIS POKEMON CONTEST’S THEME IS ALL ABOUT BAKING. From gathering ingredients to concocting pastries, contestants are judged for their culinary creativity by showcasing their bond with their pokemons. Players may choose whatever pastry dish they may want to serve; the only requirement is that they use the Desmarais products (anything liquor) to create the best pastry there is![break][break]

ROUNDS
There will be three rounds in this contest with varying prompts and challenges which you should complete with the
pokemon of your choice (only one) to gain appeal points.[break][break]
ROUND ONE: FORAGING[break][break]
The first round sets up the contestants to a foraging challenge where they are expected to gather ingredients for the bake-off. While other ingredients like flour and egg are provided in the pantry, Desmarais Inc. has purchased a wide array of berry plantation where players can harvest their main ingredients. Beware, though, for others mat try to sabotage your chances of procuring the best berries in the garden.[break][break]
ROUND TWO: BAKING[break][break]
After harvesting your berries, participants are then guided by the contest staff to the kitchen. They are expected to create a pastry dish with all the berries they gathered and all the other condiments in the pantry. Be sure to watch your food as they bake because they may burn in the oven![break][break]
ROUND THREE: PRESENTATION[break][break]
Tasting time! Once your dish is ready, it is time to serve them to the judges. Impress them with your presentation and your pastries' flavor.

PRIZE
Standard OOC prizes by participating in a contest can be found in this
pokemon contest information thread. ICly, the winner will receive
50,000 PD and a
year-long voucher of free Desmarais products every month. Recipes made that impressed the judges will also be featured in the restaurant owned by Desmarais Inc.[break][break][break]
