[attr="class","contestAnnouncerText"]As the notion behind the competition entails, the program begins with the piling in of various trainers-to-be -- small kids ushered on by a group of adults who seem to be their proud parents. Behind each child stood a responsible adult, beaming as their kids put out their hands together in a team-building circle. In unison, they cried out:[break][break]
"WE WANT TO BE THE VERY BEST, LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS! IT'S YOU AND ME, AND TOGETHER WE ASPIRE TO OUR DESTINY!"[break][break]
With this group cheer, the kids wave their small hands towards the middle of the stage which splits apart with the spotlights that were on the children and their parents turning off and plunging the entirety of the stadium into darkness. For a moment, the crowd grows silent but then the music setting the mood for the competition begins and all the spotlights focus blaringly down on @micah , the ANNOUNCER for this competition. Her outfit is gaudy in all regards of the word, but it seems suitable for a competition aimed towards children - vibrant and colorful with various pi symbols dripping off of her in the form of accessories - even a top hat and spinning monocle in place to 'top' off the image of a crazy, colorful riddler who's ready to ask all the questions without answering any.[break][break]
"Who will it be that will inspire these cool kiddos indeed?" she starts off, the only thing giving away even her gender in the costume being her voice and the way she tips forward her hat with a dramatic flair, showing off a bit of her long dark hair. The pillar she was on seemed to rise with every word she said, until she was high up in the air and nothing but a neon figure in the distance with a voice booming through the speakers, above the various green concert lights and pyrotechnics that went off after the kids and parents took their respective seats as the judges. "It seems they are looking forward to a good show - someone to aspire to, so who will end up being the sharpest of the bunch who will cut away all the competition? Who will end up being the big sister, big brother, or otherwise big sibling for these qtpis to look up to as the most clever coordinator around?!" with the title drop, the crowd began to cheer. For each corresponding competitor, there were colors assigned. Since the competitors were new to the SILVER COMPETITIONS, they were assigned according to sign-up order. It seemed return competitors got to choose their corresponding colors and even fan chants, fangroup names, and more.[break][break]
GREEN glowsticks were dispersed for @pippa . Many waved wildly, wanting to support the heiress to the corporation funding the competition. Some whispered among the crowd with how this competition could come to be when she was competing, obviously meaning to check for bias with close stares.[break][break]
BLUE glowsticks were dispersed for @cato . There seemed to be many waving as well, though strangely enough these were held by people who didn't seem to have anything to do with a coordinator competition at all - grown men and women who were overdressed for the occasion and who were perched up on balcony seats like opera viewers. These individuals gave out their own form of cheers, clapping loudly but politely while waving the corresponding glowsticks.[break][break]
INDIGO glowsticks were dispersed for Martín del Mar . So many glowsticks were in the masses that it seemed almost ridiculous. A lot of people seemed to have just gotten out of work - bearing a familiar symbol that would read them as Pog Bank employees. It seemed they came to cheer on their CEO or maybe urge him to win them some more clout, given he'd be using a signature meowth - a clever move on his part, or so the crowd would argue.[break][break]
PURPLE glowsticks were dispersed for kyle lopez . Honestly, the crowd seemed to be so damn huge due to the star-studded competitors but if the crowd for Mars was huge, it was shockingly equal for Kyle - if not larger. The two seemed to be big deals and it was obvious that many people would come cheer the champion, regardless of what he would pursue. The purple sea seemed to rain down upon the rest of the colors, almost color blocking out the rest of them.[break][break]
PINK glowsticks were dispersed for luka chêne . Most of the crowd that had the pink glowsticks seemed to be admirers, mostly men and women around Luka's age - taken by the coordinator's beauty. Some seemed to whisper among themselves, nodding with secrets of agreeing that she was a shoe-in given her specialty in baby pokemon.[break][break]
RED glowsticks were dispersed for Andrea Vaneau . Pokefans seemed to adorn the crowd, loving the dragon-hooded girl and her positive vibe. It seemed some returning coordinator-lovers supported Ms. Andrea, sporting hoodies of their own favorite pokemon and being among the loudest in the crowd, roaring and cheering the competitor's name like feral fanboys and fangirls ready to fight for their favorite.[break][break]
ORANGE glowsticks were dispersed for Locke Jamison . Unshockingly, there seemed to be little to no glowsticks among the crowd for the man titled MISTER REEMAN. In fact, it seemed people looked oddly at those with orange glowsticks in the crowd, thinking they were supporting some weirdo who was obviously thrown in as a red herring or some kind of joke. Little did they know ...[break][break]
Breaking away from the crowd, one could see that the COMPETITORS were being funneled into the stage like show animals - each asked to dress their 'elementary school best' which meant wearing the most cute, endearing costumes they could. As they came out, @micah announced their names before asking them to INTRODUCE THEMSELVES, THEIR CHOSEN POKEMON, AND THEIR NEW YEAR RESOLUTION. This would do for an INTRODUCTORY PHASE to the competition, giving each coordinator a chance to look upon their competition before they began their routines in whatever order they had funneled out in.
