Elisabeth Fiorelli 's SOLAR BEAM hits and jayden cross and Cade Atreides manage to get out of the way before the STUN SPORE can take effect on the Leaguers. But he can't do anything to dodge the EARTHQUAKE that follows. Mint is flung forward in the direction he was going with his partner following suit, tumbling after him. The ground around them breaks apart but Mint, but some miracle, avoids most of the deeper chasms. "Erba?!" he asked as he got up, still shaken. [break][break]

Cade Atreides 's transmission shows up and he scrambled. He looked around for Elisabeth Fiorelli before sending message out. "VIPER you ok?!" he asked before looking at the spike shooting out towards Matias and Penny. "SOVA, NEON moving to your 9 o'clock, clear for engagement." he said as his Petilil stood ready at Mint's foot. [break][break]

Giant hole in the ground or not, the two over there are still kicking. Though at least with that in place, they'd have a harder time moving and it'd be easier to pick them off. [break][break]

"I'm closing in to maintain visual." he added as his partner powered up. A glowing ball of bright green light forms, popped upwards into an arc by a spec of cute green. The ENERGY BALL blasts forth, aiming to drop like a mortar somewhere between Penelope and Matias.

Without Cade Atreides's motorcycle to blunt the impact on their side, Elisabeth did not fare so well as jayden cross had.[break][break]

The shattered ground swallowed up beneath Elisabeth's feet, throwing the masked woman onto rocks and rubble with a barely audible scream through static. She rolled to the side in time to see mint frost safely above the jutting stone, just as one rock clamped down on her leg. She hissed loudly, biting on her lip until it bled.[break][break]

Her Vileplume had fared much better, the type disparity keeping the blow more of a nuisance than anything else.[break][break]

"Viper here. I'm fine, Neon," Elisabeth managed to answer back through the static of her vocalizer. "Just locked a bit in place. My leg won't move." With any luck, she'd be able to drag herself out before MATIAS SILPH and PENELOPE LIVY could escape their thorny confines. Unfortunately, she'd be limping when she did.[break][break]

She glared up meaningfully at the waning sunlight and her Vileplume once more complied with a relentless SOLAR BEAM, seeking to keep their enemies thrown-off by the barrage of attacks.[break][break]

"They're going to try and recover soon," she said sharply, slowly attempting to maneuver her leg out of its earthly prison. "Don't let them. Remain on the offensive."

jayden cross's ferrothorn's POWER WHIP is intercepted, caught by kangaskhan before it tugs hard to pull it closer and closer until its offspring can lunge forward with a SHADOW CLAW. mama kangaskhan is quick to follow with its own SHADOW CLAW as the two do their best to rip through the ferrothorn's IRON BARBS.[break][break]

mint frost's ENERGY BALL forces matias to move. he grabs PENELOPE LIVY by her arm and tugs them both out of the way, though not far enough to be clear of the splash damage. dirt and debris slap into him as he conjures up a WALL OF EARTH.[break][break]

it reaches up and over them like a curious dome, able to fend off the SOLAR BEAM long enough until they've moved and gotten out of the way.[break][break]

In the meantime, Blazikin continued moving through ferrothorn's iron barbs. As he did, he'd engulf his legs in flames, pushing through with solid BLAZE KICKS, again and again, until the barbs melted back where they came.

This, however, left little protection against the incoming slew of attacks that rained down on the two within the center of the cage. Brought to the ground by Matias, Penelope shuddered beneath his curious dome. The debris from the ENERGY BALL bit at her skin, drawing small trickles of blood wherever the shattered pieces of rock struck. Her body ached beneath the pressure of it all.

With permission from Elisabeth Fiorelli to go on the offensive, Cade Atreides revs up his motorcycle with a vicious growl. "Hold on tight or hop out," He warns jayden cross with a hidden smirk. "I'm going in."

Before long, the air splits with a deafening roar as his floating motorcycle dashes forward. Despite the SOLAR BEAM mimicked into existence by the MR. MIME, however, Cade does not steer them off course. The defensive measure enacted by MATIAS SILPH is a problem, after all, and he must ensure to get rid of it for his team and the Admins that led them.

Nevertheless, the slight tilt he executes in an attempt to evade the beam proves to be mostly fruitless. Searing hot pain spreads across his body as his clothing briefly catches fire. The parts of it that aren't made with resistant leather disintegrate to reveal the extent of the burn injuries he has received.

Thankfully, his bike takes the brunt of the attack and proves to be mostly resistant to it as it BULLDOZES its way through the WALL OF EARTH it is challenged with. Whether or not it manages to trample over PENELOPE LIVY and MATIAS SILPH in the midst of that, the motorcycle dashes onward to create some distance afterward as its rider grits his teeth in pain.

[break][break] The roar of battle continues to echo around them as MATIAS SILPH and his pokemon rip his Ferrothorn's vines to shreds. It's no surprise, considering how close they are in proximity, but no less concerning. Though the INGRAIN heals the pokemon a little, pain still screams through his body as he's being torn to pieces by the Groudon avatar.

[break][break] An EXPLOSION rattles through the air with the vines that still remain, popping off like grenades in the small enclosure
as he and Cade Atreides ready themselves for the attack. '

[break][break] Agony swells along his body forearms as they lurch forward on the motorcycle, careening towards the WALL OF EARTH. It tears through his uniform, which is made of mostly fire-resistant leather, but the pain singes nonetheless. Jayden doesn't seem to mind it though - in fact, he nearly embraces it. Set mildly aflame, he leaps off the bike and towards PENELOPE LIVY.

He closed in a bit, watching his team beat down he E4 and councilwoman. He can't recognize the move used and so, he can only determine that power as MATIAS SILPH ' pact with Groudon. He grinned, two parts nerves one part adrenaline. It's strong enough to cover for Elisabeth Fiorelli 's SOLAR BEAM. [break][break]

As Cade Atreides moves in with jayden cross to weaken the dome, he perks up at the admin's orders. "Cover us, Erba!" he ordered as he moved back to the blonde and began to assess the situation. It's not good, but he had some time, hopefully. "Viper, does it feel broken?" he asked as he began work on digging out his colleague. The Petilil trilled somethin, watching the main fight but using its vines to help its trainer. "I can splint it, and I got some pain meds but anything else we'll have to start moving further back." he said as he clawed through packed dirt and rock.

She grit her teeth as MATIAS SILPH's WALL OF EARTH blunted her attack, only for a Mr. Mime to COUNTER the same attack at her companions. Small mercies, at least: she and mint frost had been largely untargeted this round. PENELOPE LIVY's efforts had been on healing, not retaliation.[break][break]

She'd not be making the same mistake.[break][break]

Like the glass cannon she apparently was, Elisabeth instructed her Vileplume to continue firing SOLAR BEAM to take advantage of the remaining sunlight. Repetitive? Absolutely, but this wasn't a Pokémon contest. There were no points for originality to consider here.[break][break]

Even so, when Beast Frost rushed to help her out of her stone imprisonment, part of her was secretly grateful for it. "I don't know," she admitted to his question, wincing as she attempted to bring herself to her feet.[break][break]

Tremors from the EXPLOSION that jayden cross had set off shook and rattled the ground, and somehow when combined with mint frost's efforts, this was enough to dislodge her from the rock that had held her in place. She gingerly put pressure on it, wincing as she did so, but was able to stand after leaning on her fellow Rocket.[break][break]

"Not broken, Neon," she determined, "but sprained, maybe."[break][break]

The blonde glanced over to the spectacle occurring amidst thorns and stone walls, and her eyes narrowed as she announced a command to the rest of the team.[break][break]

"They're tenacious. The Elite Four and his Kangaskhan, specifically. He's hitting a wide enough field to target several trainers."[break][break]

She clicked her tongue.[break][break]

"But the councilwoman is healing him. It might be smarter to take the weaker one out first, so that we can then focus our efforts on the greater threat unhindered by his supporting actor."[break][break]

Elisabeth watched the green light of the SOLAR BEAM lance off towards its targets, hopeful her assault would keep them on the defensive.

DETECT is the one thing keeping Blaziken from straight up disintegrating in a sheet of searing flames. Kicking off with his natural SPEED BOOST, the fighting type sought cover behind a nearby tree, barely nimble enough to tuck in his arms and legs behind the thin piece of defense. The pressure of the explosion still burned, nipping at the back of his skin, but no death resulted from the devasting blow.

Her voice, harsh and raspy, echoed back at him, barely able to sustain its volume against the rough pull of her arm. It hurt, being slammed both left and right by MATIAS SILPH' aggressive measures of protection, but it was manageable. Much more than the brunt end of a SOLAR BEAM, that's for sure.

Hattrene was directed to immediately shift her gears. From nurturing to attacking, the healing pokemon looked to use its PSYCHIC against a certain cyclist's wheels (caden maher.) The aim would be to harshly prevent its wheels from turning, thus sending the cyclist aboard flying from his seat.

The WALL OF EARTH is shattered through the BULLDOZE of his flying motorcycle. PENELOPE LIVY and MATIAS SILPH are no longer protected by it. This does, however, grant the former's Pokémon an opening for attack. Despite the fact that the tires are not touching the ground, thanks to MAGNET RISE, the PSYCHIC stills manages to veer the bike off-course in a dramatic way, forcing Cade off before it hits a wall.

His bike sustains the brunt of the damage when it crashes against a nearby wall sideways. Cade, on the other hand, hits a lingering wave of PSYCHIC energy before it casts him violently towards the ground. His body crashes and rolls a few times before meeting his bike. Afterward, the helmeted agent scrambles to pick himself back up again. Though battered, burnt, and bruised, he checks on the condition of his bike.

"Tch..."

Councilwoman PENELOPE LIVY had managed to knock out the engine with her HATTERENE.

But the fight was far from over, so codename SOVA reaches to his belt for a ball before summoning a ferocious BEARTIC. Admin Elisabeth Fiorelli had made her instructions clear. jayden cross and mint frost seemed to be in a BIND, so it seemed to be up to Cade to meet the fair lady's expectations. He smirks, considering he's all the more motivated to impress a beautiful woman. "I'll separate them," He tells his comrades over the comms. "Beartic, ROCK SLIDE!"

With a thundering roar, the bipedal polar bear reaches into the ground below with both of its massive paws and claws out chunks of earth that it sends flying toward the enemy BLAZIKEN and enemy HATTERENE. The rock slide descends upon both of them mercilessly, trembling the earth below with a violent grumble. When the dust clears, PENELOPE LIVY might find herself separated from her comrade MATIAS SILPH by that same pile of rocks.

Cade, in the meantime, stumbles towards his bike before hauling it up onto both tires again with both hands. With pained grunts, he sweeps one leg over to sit upon it and begins to try and rev it up again for a quick escape.

He's not an expert in the medical field, but if Elisabeth Fiorelli wasn't in excruciating pain then the best thing for it was going to be ice, which he lacked right now ironically, and something compress it tightly. He does just that, as the woman gives her notes on the raging battle at hand. Deft fingers pull from a small pouch on his waist, yanking out an elastic bandage. No sleeves, but he worked with what he could and he had to pack only essentials. "Grit your teeth." he warned, bedside manner flying out the window as he wraps nude colored bandaged around her foot as tight as he can, before pinning little claps to itself. "This should help you move." he muttered. Still he stays in place to offer her support. [break] [break]

He does it just in time to see the E4's pokemon tossed jayden cross 's own partner at their feet. "Shit-" there's a flash again from the Vileplume and he waits for the smoke to clear. "Yoru, Sova, incoming!" he said as his partner locked onto PENELOPE LIVY and launched another mortar-like ENERGY BALL. After another moment he asked into the comms, "Are we pulling back now?" His Petilil shudders, brimming with power and getting ready to focus more for her next attack.

"Well done, Sova," she said into her earpiece as Cade Atreides's attack moved to cleave the teamwork of MATIAS SILPH and PENELOPE LIVY in two. "Splitting them apart makes them each weaker. Let's hope you've succeeded."[break][break]

Although the sight of jayden cross had faded out in all the chaos, lost to the very dust cloud that had swallowed the Leaguers whole.[break][break]

"Yoru? Yoru, answer me. Can you hear us?"[break][break]

No answer came, and with it the first inkling of dread seeped through her.[break][break]

Her attention shifted to mint frost, whose quick thinking had significantly improved her own maneuverability -- enough that she could stand on her own. She murmured quiet gratitude, then watched the arc of his Pokémon's ENERGY BALL the feminine silhouette barely visible in the dusty haze.[break][break]

With the SUNNY DAY only lasting a few minutes longer, Elisabeth's Vileplume continued in its onslaught of SOLAR BEAM missiles, directing them to follow the Petilil's aim.[break][break]

"Keep an eye on them, and look for Yoru in the rubble. Once the dust clears, we'll understand exactly what battlefield we're playing on."
