The Golurk went down which was good, but the terrible power of Curse onto the weakened Octillery from the fallen large ghost type would put a small dent to having the octopus put in support for the royal’s heavy hitters. Edmond watched the suited man send out his Goodra as another fighter, so the Spiritomb dodged the pointed stones being thrown at the ghost from the Gallade though Edmond couldn’t avoid the flames coming from the Goodra. A groan of pain came from the ghost type as the Spiritomb waits for his trainer to give her command.[break][break]

“Let’s focus on that Gallade next with Shadow Ball!” The firm command came from the royal and the ghost would launch a sphere of ghostly energy towards the knightly Pokemon. This was going to be a difficult battle if they couldn’t get past how much of a team the suited man’s Pokemon worked together in battle.

PARANOIA begins to set in, and he fears he may have to pull back with Elise. After all, this lead was starting to feel lie ka dead end. He could keep supporting his rookie, sure, and set up a battle of attrition, or they could move on.

Even now, this is the only person here. If the SEAL really was down this cave, they'd be swarming out to put an end to the fighting. After all, with all the noise, both Rocket and League would move in to clash. It may be a hasty post, or a supply set up. Important in the grand scheme of things, but not enough to warrant Paxton sticking around. With no confirmation of the greater prize, he's less inclined to put all his effort into this fight.

His Octillery takes the CURSE and shakes as the ghostly power takes over. "You got it!" he quips, as his octopus aimed high and shot a large GUNK SHOT into the air, arcing over and falling over both of their opponents. It wouldn't do anything other than stink up the Goodra and their side of the playing field, but it was effective enough against the other one. "We should begin making out exit." he said as the comms light up on his end. Other skirmishes breaking out, possible movement of a SEAL elsewhere.

They were going to try to get rid of his Gallade so that they could escape this place. It was a good plan, but he wasn't going to let that happen at least not without a fight. So his Goodra got between the Gallade, and the Shadow Ball simply taking the hit, and shrugging it off, the Gunk Shot sliding off it's metallic body, but it managed to hit his Gallade, and the damage was going to pile up quickly on the Pokemon that was keeping them there. It was a bit annoying, but he was going to work on just taking out both Pokemon at once. His hand moved to grip something, and it looked like an orb.

"Thunderbolt." He gave the calculated command to his Goodra, who began to spark with electricity, and the yellow bolts arced out from it's metallic body flying towards both opponents. Amor had built his Goodra to be able to handle almost any type of opponent that it came upon. The types of moves that it had at it's disposal covered a wide array, which was always nice. "Stone Edge, again!" He commanded his Gallade, and once more spiky chunks of rock erupted from the ground sending shrapnel like shards at both pokemon.

The Spiritomb was going to be increasing annoying to deal with, and he wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible. Elise still needed to polish her battling skills, but he could help her with that another time when they weren't in the middle of a war. Besides if they got rid of his Gallade, and attempted to run, there was a much worse Pokemon waiting for them both in the wings. Amor very rarely got to show off his full might in battle, and he hoped that this would be one such scenario where he could cut loose.

Planning to get rid of the Gallade first and trying to run off after didn’t work as much as she hoped it would as the annoying slug dragon tanked the Shadow Ball meant to try to defeat his knight-like Pokemon while the Gunk Shot from the Octillery hits the metallic body of the Goodra. “We should, yes.” She replies to the pinkette man beside her when he suggested making their escape as Edmond makes a face of annoyance over his last attack not being able to defeat the suited man’s Gallade.[break][break]

The paranoia clouds her mind a little, wondering if the suited man would chase after them as they made their escape away from the battlefield. “Let us go with another Shadow Ball and see if we cannot get rid of that Gallade.” Another firm command came from the female royal as the ghost would get shocked by the strong bolt of electricity coming from the Goodra with a pained wail. He sends one final Shadow Ball to try to take out the Gallade and had narrowly dodged the pointed stones before breathing hard from the tiredness setting in. Edmond wasn’t going to last in this round.

Their attacks hit but it doesn't seem to slow down the newcomer. Even as the THUNDERBOLT slams everything on the field, with Streentrup NOOTing in pain. But the Gallade ignores it, favoring to continue the attack with STONE EDGE. His partner is weak, and she probably couldn't handle much longer after all the concentrated abuse from the Golurk before it. [break][break]

"Push back!" he called out to his poor Octopus as she inhaled deep before blasting the field with HYDRO PUMP. Water goes everywhere but he's sure the Spiritomb can handle a little water. Under the cover of the oncoming wall of water, Paxton pulls off his rifle and takes one shot at the Gallade, the casing of a bullet flying hot and away before another is immediately loaded. Quick movements, and he aims the shot at the Rocket while ordering Elise back with a firm, "Go!" [break][break]

From this distance, and position the sniper lacks surprise in his movements which was a cornerstone for effectiveness. But he doesn't need to blow off heads. He just needs quick shots and the sound of Elise's stupid heels clacking farther and farther away from here. Gods forbid he lets a rookie drop before he does. Streenstrup lets out a cry of pain as CURSE continues to claw at her consciousness.

They were proving to be more annoying than he would like, that is when he saw paxton concordas using his gun once more, and Gallade reacted instinctively upon sensing the slight danger to it's trainer, and a protective dome appeared around them both. The Shadow Ball rebounded harmlessly against the barrier along with the bullets that were being fired at them. The Hydro Pump collided with his Goodra, but it didn't deal any significant damage to the steely dragon. It would seem that they were going to try, and run away, and this only made him sigh in contempt.

"I'm sorry....I already gave you both the option to leave the moment you showed up. And now you have the audacity to try, and run? I think not." There was a bit of bitterness, he knew that they were going to have fight regardless when they appeared, but he truly didn't want to harm anyone. "Ice Beam, freeze them in their tracks!" His Goodra would breath out the icy beam from it's maw, and send a sprawling sheet of ice across the ground towards the opposing side. At the same time, Amor threw out three weird looking orbs at the feet of Paxton, and when they hit the ground, they exploded releasing a sticky substance that would help keep them locked in.

"I'll let the woman go, but you." He directed his attention solely to paxton concordas. "You aren't going anywhere." Was he being biased because he was dating Elise Calcifet in his civilian persona? Absolutely, but no one else had to know that.

TLDR
Amor can't believe the audacity here.
Gallade uses Protect to defend itself, and Amor from the Shadow Ball, and Hydro Pump, and the bullets.
Goodra uses Ice Beam on the ground to attempt to freeze Paxton to the ground!
Amor throws out sticky bombs to also try to keep Paxton in place!
Amor is being biased secretly!

The moment that the Shadow Ball coming from the Spiritomb falls to the protective barrier that the Gallade erected, she takes the time to return Edmond back to his Pokeball since he had done everything to make sure that he could help cover for their escape as the pinkette tells her to go far from the suited man and his Pokemon. Turning around to run on her heeled boots, the clacking sounds it made onto the ground would be stopped momentarily as Elise turns to hear the crackling of ice from the Goodra’s Ice Beam that would’ve stopped her in her tracks, but didn’t reach her.[break][break]

Sticky orbs were also thrown at the feet of the pink-haired man, but why him? Wasn’t she also one of the opposing trainers? It appeared that the suited man was a little biased, so she doesn’t notice one of her Pokeballs wriggle a little until the Poipole comes out by itself and engulfs itself in blue light. Its first instinct was to fight in the face of the danger that the suited man would be posing to her partner as the evolution subsided, the purple Ultra Beast having evolved to a Naganadel.[break][break]

"Use Flamethrower, Beelze!" Her command reaches the wyvern-like alien bug dragon as the alien-like roar of the Naganadel comes with the powerful stream of fire from its own maw as the blaze melts the ice from Goodra’s Ice Beam and heads towards the Goodra in an effort to distract the other dragon a bit.

"I don't take orders from you." he said as he returned Streenstrup, who was on her last legs anyway. Their opponent could have just as easily walked away as Elise and Paxton were about to. Though, he doesn't believe his rookie is out of the woods just yet. He hears the light tapping of heels on rock and pulls out their exit strategy. [break][break]

Hopper the Porygon is summoned, beeping quickly as Paxton runs back on the first sign of projectiles flying towards him. "Running-" was all he could utter to the pink and blue pokemon before it TELEPORTed him to Elise's side as her Naganadel evolved and fired back a FLAMETHROWER. "Continue cover fire." he said to Elise before adding, "'Scuse me." [break][break]

With the addition of the lessened gravity, he secured the range. One arm hooked under her knees and the other against her back. He goes forward, trusting her Ultra Beast could handle it as Hopper beeped a warning to its partner in battle. "Backtracking to position Bravo, we'll go from there." he said to his partner. Hopper beeped a quick acknowledgment before casting another TELEPORT as Paxton doesn't stop running.

The surprise of Elise summoning her Poipole was only overshadowed by the fact that it suddenly evolved, and began to cause all kinds of trouble for him. With it's Flamethrower melting the sheet of ice he had conjured, part of him couldn't help, but be a little proud of her. His Goodra stopped the Flamethrower with a well placed Water Pulse to coat their makeshift arena in steam, but by the time that cleared, both of his opponents had already fled using Teleport. Of course, he could have stopped them from using it. His Gallade was still kicking, and it could have sealed off any number of their moves, but he would rather let Elise Calcifet get away than be forced to fight her further.

paxton concordas on the other hand, the next time they met on the battlefield, Amor would make sure to not toy around at the beginning again. Perhaps that was a flaw of his, he preferred to ramp up to a proper battle rather than just going all out at the beginning. Playing with his food constantly got him scolded when he was younger, but ti was fine....He wasn't forced to fight his beloved any longer, he could take solace in that at the very least.

"We should go as well." He gave the order, and returned his Goodra, letting his Gallade Teleport him away as well. His objective had been fulfilled as far as he was concerned. Not that there was anything special in the area that he was guarding anyway. He just had to put on a good show.

Beelze the Naganadel looks over to the teleporting duo of humans and the Porygon beside the pinkette man warning the alien dragon that they were teleporting as the woman felt herself being carried bridal style. Though it had wanted to check on the royal and make sure she was safe, the Ultra Beast was told by Paxton continue some cover fire against the suited man and his two Pokemon. Beelze’s Flamethrower was stopped by the metallic Goodra’s Water Pulse where it produced steam and with a low roar of annoyance, the purple wyvern-like bee dragon watches the trio of human and his two Pokemon pull out of battle.[break][break]

Since it wasn’t going to finish its battle with its opponent, the alien dragon flies off to try to find where its trainer and her partner teleported to. All the while, Elise feels the man drop her when his Porygon teleports them to a safer place, but worries that her Naganadel won’t be able to find where they were. [break][break]

However, her worries were dispelled as Beelze flies over to where they were in the air with a happy growl, relieved to find her again.
