NOTES/COMMENTS:

• since Lars is no longer an Avatar, this is going to be a nice (for Rocket at least) surprise to come in and attack him! who knows if their data / intel about him is out of date, so it would be a battlefield revelation when it comes to that

• he would still put up one hell of a fight though, all things considered

• would it be possible for him and mint frost to meet on the battlefield (even though iirc Mint is at Mossdeep right now, word is that Mossdeep and Sootopolis may merge to meet in one big thread?) and they have their rematch? only this time, Mint would get the W (and the surprise that Lars is no longer with the blue Articuno)

• is he going to die? no. will he be seriously injured? by all means yes. maim him, do your worst! let’s collab and make the fight/s memorable.

• due to certain changes, I would want a scenario where his Gallade dies. Normally he’s deployed with both his Gardevoir and Gallade together, however this is going to change because they’ll be separated (he’s not bringing his Gardevoir to this battle). There is an Anderson family ‘myth’ that when a mated / bonded pair of Pokémon are not together in battle, misfortune strikes (which usually leads to the Pokémon that’s not with their partner meeting a terrible fate [maybe save this for the encounter with Mint should they meet in Sootopolis?]).

NOTES/COMMENTS: I am finally back. Cadeyrn's story is one of a noble knight and his beloved princess. Always willing to be a shoulder to lean on for his lady and putting on a strong front for everyone around him. Yet, the events of Elise's capture and the toxic chains have tested his seemingly unbreakable will. Although it's been a year since then  and he has gotten better at dealing with it, the doubt has never left his mind and causing him to distance himself from the one he has sworn to protect and loves dearly. I plan on using the upcoming battle not only to reignite the fire within him but also to help him find himself once more, to reclaim the strength and courage.
