GATHERED INTEL HAS SUGGESTED that the tree is a source of incredible energy. despite the bone-white of the tree, the plant seems to emanate a restorative aura and is able to provide heightened vigor to those near it. performers have chalked it up to stage anxiety and adrenaline, but there is reason to believe there is more to this phenomenon than the electricity of taking center stage.[break][break]
it is your job, both rocket and league, to infiltrate the "underworld" of the theatre and recover more intelligence about this tree. the tree's roots dig deep down into the building's lower dressing rooms and underneath the stage itself. use the ongoing contest as cover— and use any means necessary to unearth the tree's secrets.

TO PREVENT OVERCROWDING, the pokemon contest organizers are enforcing a strict limitation of
three pokemon on a person at any given time.[break][break][break]

this event will feature mod posts to summarize actions (to an extent) and to provide outcomes for actions. the
ROLL command will be used as well, so if you have
SALAC BERRIES this is a good time to use them as well. furthermore, this event is indeed,
DEATH-ENABLED— but your pokemon are more at risk than your actual characters. there will be no auto-kills or unfair deliberations.[break][break][break]

IN ORDER TO CLAIM COMPLETE REWARDS FOR YOUR FACTION, and to facilitate plot moments within the event thread, your respective groups will have objectives to fulfill collectively. for example, if your rocket character becomes captured, that objective is fulfilled for the entire group.[break][break]

- ic objective: extract a biosample of bark from the tree; protect the tree. ☐
- sub: have three league-affiliated pokemon die by rocket hands. ☐
- sub: be captured, injured, or killed by a rocket character. ☐
- sub: heal/defend a teammate against a rocket's attack (pkmn or human). ☐
- sub: every character must reference every teammate at least once throughout the thread. ☐
