however, littleroot has decided to make the most out of this unearthly spectacle. after contacting hoenn's pokemon contest association, it has been decided that a celebratory contest be held there to celebrate the beauty of the tree. those who participate are promised great monetary rewards and fame, should they appeal well to the audience! [break][break][break] further notesthis contest is a beauty contest; however, do not feel limited by what pokemon you can choose. furthermore, you should think about your character's coordinator outfit, if they have any. perhaps, their pokemon is wearing accessories or is groomed to perfection as well.[break][break] the sign-ups for this event will close on 5/11 as well. feel free to switch over to this event if you have already signed up for the "root of the matter" event. just ensure that you delete the respective sign-up post.[break][break] lastly, although the winner may win an extra reward, simple participation will still net you awards![break][break][break] estimated start & end datethis event is still being planned and is scheduled for some time next week.[break][break] this event will run until the end of the month (possibly longer, depending on worldly circumstances) and should end at the same time as the league vs. rocket event.[break][break][break] APPEAL SYSTEM TO WIN you must appeal to the audience! although the specifics of this system still need to be decided, your character and their pokemon's performance can be awarded appeal points through a variety of ways. appeal points are what you need to win the contest— and currently, as the system stands, the one with the most appeal points will win![break][break] appeal can be won through the following methods:[break][break] - roll each round (salac berries can be used)
- judge feedback (the judges' identities are a secret!)
- a possible rubric/other methods (?)
