Summer couldn't help a small laugh from bubbling in her throat as Ana spoke. They seemed to be so alike in this way, able to play this game of cat and mouse until one of them bent and broke.

She wondered who it'd be.

"Ana," she corrected herself, leaning close to whisper in her ear.

"Summer. Might you lead me to your chambers to warm me up properly?"

Summer opened her mouth to speak, to ask more questions that, maybe, shouldn't be asked. But, her father's phone rang, interrupting her train of thought. She closed her mouth, cutting her gaze to her food.

She ate while he spoke, looking back up when he addressed her again.

Of course, she nearly choked on her food. They found Ollie? This whole time, they were looking for him because she had said something about him?

It made sense. But, Summer couldn't wrap her head around it.

"What are you... going to ask him?" she asked, clutching her glass tightly.

Summer sipped on her drink, raising up her brows until Ana took her cheeks with her hands. A bit of fun?

And then a kiss was placed on her lips, though it was gone in a matter of moments before she could react properly. Her eyes with wide with a look of surprise before she chuckled.

"Is that the game we're playing, Miss Stone?" she asked, reaching forward to rest her hand on her thigh.

Another drink for him, and another drink for her. Of course, the more alcohol you put into Summer Prescott, the looser she became. The more she was willing to speak, to do things, to make mistakes.

Would a night with this man be a mistake?

"Summer. And you?"

She was already leaning forward, looking at him closely as her elbow rested on the table.

Summer wasn't entirely sure if Andres understood what she meant by "missing." Did she care enough to explain it? It had been over six months at that point, with not a single word or known whereabout of Casey's location.

At this point, she truly believed her lover had died.

"No... I think he's dead," she said bluntly, another shot of straight alcohol sent in her mouth and burning down to her stomach.

Her face dared not to reveal emotion, masked by alcohol and a need of distraction. So, Summer decided she pull the conversation as far away from Casey as she could. Because thinking about him... was too painful.

"Who said I was jealous? I simply think I'm better company than them. Wouldn't you agree? You've been after me from the start, Andres. Now's your chance," Summer spoke, her voice dropping to a taunting whisper.

Her hands raised, caressing his jaw as she leaned closer. The smell of alcohol danced between them, but she didn't care.

"So? Are you going to take me or not?"

Summer realized that it was the last stride forward. Victor or defeat awaited her, and she could feel it in her grasp. Whether or not she had it, she wasn't sure, but she did know her pride in her Pokemon was strong.

Especially in these two, even as her EMBOAR now rested in his Poke ball. Her GYARADOS was floating, hanging on it's last straw as it INTIMIDATED the CRUSTLE readying its attacking.

"Be prepared to dodge! Avoid!"

The advantage her Pokemon had was it's ability to float, so while the rocky shards flew forward, it was about to avoid a few. Several smaller ones hit, of course weakening it. But, with one final push, Summer commanded the final attack.

"HYDRO PUMP!"

They were alike, two dominant figures who loved the power of taking charge and leading. However, there was something that made Summer want to take a step back and relax a moment. Even if they were on business today.

Maybe she could feel his energy. Maybe she was growing tired, weary. Maybe her poor decisions were finally catching up to her...

She didn't say this out loud, though, following beside Belial as she led the way.

"Can't say that I have. I don't particularly care about these places, much less their history. Do you believe in ghosts, Belial? Not Pokemon, but spirits of those who have died? Do you believe that they will be with us today?" she asked with a smirk.

For Summer, it was difficult to tell if this really was a joke or not. She hardly remembered making this chocolates. She was near blackout drunk when she and Mars were in the kitchen, burning a bowl on a stove and scraping bits out of the melting plastic.

So, as she watched him take one and eat it, she couldn't help but smile.

Before Barnaby's visceral reaction showed.

"Oh, Arceus. You think he's actually getting sick?" she murmured, glancing back at Mars.

For a moment, while it was actually sort of funny to see him react in such a way - because it was Barnaby, prim and proper - she was concerned that maybe they poisoned them. Had they put anything inedible in there?

"I don't remember what's in there... is there plastic in this...?"

"Occupy your mind?"

Well, the way he spoke made it sound like he was worn. Suffering internally. And his eyes shouted that he was tired. Or that he wanted someone to distract him, to take his mind away from the real-life world.

In a way, Summer couldn't help but pity him. He was similar to her, after all.

"Well, perhaps we can help each other then," she suggested, sipping the last of her drink.

Summer's own Pokemon were attacking with fire, trying to push back the hoard to give Lex and their trainer a breadth of space to stay safe. She also threw out her THIEVUL to aid in her ABSOL'S attacks.

However, her attention was momentarily caught off guard as the mythical Pokemon was revealed. She had never seen anything like it before, majestic and astounding. She momentarily forgot about their assault, until she heard the roar of her EMBOAR as teeth sank on his flesh.

"HEAT CRASH!"

Lex mentioned finding an edge. Summer looked past her before nodding.

"Cover me."

And she took off, her ABSOL and THIEVUL at her side for protection as she sought an edge.

Summer wanted to say something sassy to Barnaby, but she watched him as he threw his dart forward. It popped the balloon, almost like he was a natural. She wondered, how many times had he played a game like this?

She threw her darts, one at a time, until five rounds had been finished. And the results...

A total of two were popped by her. One short of not having to pay for dinner. Summer grimaced, grumbling a bit as she crossed her arms.

"How am I unlucky? Or are you just always lucky? What the hell, Barnaby?"

But truly, her greatest disappointment was not winning that cute ABSOL plushie. It looked just like Freyja...

Of course, Summer wouldn't blame herself for this idea. But, in the end, it was probably a terrible idea to get drunk and use the stove when neither of them were adept at using a stove in the first place.

Rich kid problems...

Summer made an exasperated sound as Mars came to hide behind her, looking at him with daggers in her piercing red gaze. However, she looked back at the chocolates, approaching them slowly like that one scene in Jurassic Park.

"I don't think so. They smell bad too."

Picking up a spatula, she began to try to move the mixture. It was firm, stuck onto the bowl like it was glued on in some way. What they had done to do this, she wasn't sure.

"I guess so. Order extra, I want some with my wine."

Summer was pleased, to say the least, that Elisabeth entertained the thought. Even though she was definitely dancing with the devil, she could provide some sort of entertainment through the rest of the evening.

"To your health," she had said, in both Kalosian and the language they understood. Something she was neglecting the longer all this mess went on her life. Yet, she tried not to betray her thoughts as she raised her own glass and drank.

The familiar burn settled down her throat, following into her stomach as she sighed, hardly making a face anymore.

"You're right. I'd imagine my night would have been much lonelier, as would yours," she teased, raising a pale brow.

"But, I don't know much about your life. Tell me something, Elisabeth. Anything. I'd enjoy to hear a few words about you. I only know you like plants. At least, from what I had gathered earlier."

Summer pondered a moment before speaking.

"Occasionally. Sometimes I have a guest. But, I don't leave here alone often."
