The ambassador knows when the female Honedge talks to her, the female sword tries to recall bits and pieces of her memory. Elise had taken to naming the Honedge, Jeanne, after a famed saint of Kalos who was a knight in life. A knight that fought for her country and served the Kalosian crown before being burned at the stake. [break][break]

Though this Honedge in particular seemed to remember that she was a knight that served a Galarian queen instead. It was probably why the knightly Honedge decided to come along with the princess in wanting to guard her while Elise explored the graveyard in Mt. Pyre. Jeanne wanted to train against the wild Pokemon there since she thinks the Pokemon might be strong foes to fight against.

“You don’t scare me.” The Rocket grunt sneers when she gets addressed by Wyatt himself. [break][break]

Confidence would be the Rocket’s downfall while her Toxcroak does battle with the ambassador’s Calyrex shard. With the same typing as the strange upright dog-like warden from the penitentiary, Elise is sure that her Calyrex can go toe to toe with a Pokemon like the grunt’s.[break][break]

Psychic comes from the glowing hare king and the attack creates a mini blast that hits the Toxicroak for su[break][break]per effective damage. Charles’ move has the Toxicroak reel back from the attack as if it felt that one on its body.

The hare king gets hit by the Toxicroak’s Poison Jab though the king doesn’t give in easily to an effective attack too.[break][break]

At the grunt’s other Pokemon, the Salandit gets a Poison Fang onto her body and a Counter that meets with her claws Scratching at the bunny Pokemon. It gets a kick in the stomach when it had gotten close and it growls from the pain.[break][break]

“Are you scared now?” The royal ambassador coldly spoke when she sees the little fear on the grunt’s face over how much power the Calyrex shard puts in. “You should give up when you can.”

It made her have a sense of comfort when he turns to the small hare prince to ask that he would take care of her. Remiel cared for her well-being since he was the one that always had concerns over whether she could make it through the other pathway on her own. Elise feels a little terrible that she would, but she knows that Remiel would want her to do things on her own this time.[break][break]

“Rown.” The shard responds to the prince with a firm nod and Elise sees her cousin and his glowing dragon leave to the pathway he chose. His Garchomp’s light dies down until both the hare prince and his charge are in the darkness once more.[break][break]

Elise would be lying if she said that she wasn’t afraid of the darkness. Its deep, black color that surrounds both her and her shard was frightening. Even it brings up bad memories of her fear of the dark when she was a very young girl.[break][break]

“Bring up a light please.” She spoke to her shard when he uses Burning Jealousy to create a makeshift torch. “Okay, let’s go.” Her heel turns to the other pathway from the bathhouse chamber while the Calyrex shard lights the way with a fire that illuminates their surroundings.[break][break]

In spite of how frightening the dark is, the Galarian royal princess tries to put up a composed, proper front courtesy of her station as royalty. She looks at the walls of the pathway being covered in Draconid writing and draconic figures engraved on them. The Calyrex shard leads the way while the ambassador walks.[break][break]

A testament in time that the temple’s walls were depictions of the dragon Pokemon in ancient times.

With Coniebear’s Ice Fangs clamping down onto the pink glowing Alcremie, it would give the High King an opportunity to finish the battle or at least weaken the stronger Pokemon enough that the Alcremie won’t fight back. As frost forms onto the glowing cake Pokemon, Elise hears that Paxton doesn’t think it’s dripping with the usual Illumina glow. [break][break]

Something was up. The ambassador had a feeling that she needed to end this now.[break][break]

“I know, its strength means that it’s very dangerous to people that cross its territory.” She says over to the director before she’d give her command to the Calyrex shard. “Charles, let’s end this with a strong Psychic now!”[break][break]

The green budded crown on the shard glows bright green as Psychic auras take hold of the little prince. Blue eyes began to glow too with the same shade as a powerful Psychic takes hold of the glowing Alcremie with frost on its body before it all comes crashing quite literally on the stronger Pokemon.[break][break]

The weight of the Psychic attack makes the Alcremie scream from the crushing impact when it lands onto the ground with an even harder thud. Thankfully, the attack from Charles would be enough that it’s simply weakened and can’t fight anymore.

When the shiny fox steps near one of the bigger graves, she Detects a presence that the fox can describe as another ghost. Chiyo uses Bitter Malice to figure out what the ghost wanted and when the Mismagius shows himself, the Zorua heads over to make sure the ambassador is safe.[break][break]

She counts on the wild Mismagius following her too. Confused eyes from the little fox watch the Mismagius look at her and the Galarian royal.[break][break]

When the purple ghost speaks to the ambassador, Elise picks up on what the wild Mismagius says and relays it to her fox. “I think he wants to battle.”[break][break]

Chiyo nods and she starts with Bitter Malice, but she directs the move as an attack than to discern the ghost. Bitter Malice’s hexes make the male ghost pained as he throws a Confusion at the little fox.[break][break]

Burning Jealousy from the Hisuian Zorua burns the wild Mismagius and the Galarian ambassador throws a Dusk Ball at the ghost. She knows that this Mismagius will be another one for her coven of Misdreavus and Mismagius to play with.

The events of being in the Prismatic Penitentiary had made the Galarian ambassador utterly terrified of hurting people. She had almost killed the Megalopolan general and her Pecharunt and had her friend not stopped her, she would be no better than her elder cousin, the Prime Minister. A reluctance to fight had been born from her greatest fear and Rocket would be all too happy to capitalize on it. [break][break]

After seeing her cousin and Cadeyrn Osmond getting hurt by Rocket who were two people that she cared about a lot. The latter being her lover, a knight that swore to be her sword and shield. She can’t hesitate now, it was Rocket that hurt the people she cared about![break][break]

“They should pose a good challenge. Both of them are legendaries after all.” The ambassador said while the Alcremie’s Dazzling Gleam blinds the area with light. She knows that the king and his noble steed will be able to put up a good fight against a Paradox Pokemon and a Shadow one.[break][break]

The female Spectrier disappears into the air with Phantom Force in an effort to avoid the Dazzling Gleam. The light from the Shadow Alcremie’s attack makes the Calyrex shard shut his eyes from the pain.[break][break]

Charles knows that the Flamethrower’s Fire typing will be his weakness. A Protective barrier surrounds the small hare king as it careens the Flamethrower into the nearby tall grass. Fire burns through the grass’ blades.[break][break]

In return, the shard charges up a verdant colored ball of energy. He throws the Energy Ball at the flying Roaring Moon when he counts on the Spectrier to deal with the Shadow Alcremie.[break][break]

“A Rocket hurt the man that I love and cared about the most. Sir Osmond was wiling to lay down his life for me because he loves me as well.” The princess’ words became poisonous when she thinks of the masked Rocket that hurt her knight. “So I will give you no quarter in doing what’s necessary to protect the people I care about.”

Like her knight, she did have the chance to recover, both physically and mentally. The loss of her shiny Doublade did a number on her poor Marshadow’s psyche though she’s sure that Veyle would come out stronger from the death of her mentor. Clarent and Veyle were both becoming fast friends that the little fighting ghost tried harder to train herself.[break][break]

“Yes, I thought Cinder would be very watchful. It looks like she has been training very hard.” A small chuckle came from the Galarian royal while the hare king looks a little childishly curious over the presence of the knight’s orange dragon. [break][break]

She does feel bad that she could not protect her shiny Doublade from his sacrifice, Clarent had kept her safe until his end.[break][break]

“I am certain that Remy will give you some dragons from his draciary if you ask.” The ambassador speaks. Her shard has the female Spectrier to get training from too since they were both components of the hare king’s true form. “He has gotten over his reluctance to use Charizard since he told me that he made his Pokemon bond with his sygna suit.”[break][break]

And in comparison, Elise has not gotten over the reluctance of using hers. That childhood trauma of losing her beloved uncle still reared its vile head.[break][break]

“But I have not gotten over that pain of losing my late uncle, the former Galarian King. For that reason, I still…cannot use my own Charizard because it is the very Pokemon that killed him.”[break][break]

Her expression turns a little sad in remembering that pain. If his spirit was there to talk to her, he’d probably be proud of her for having the League’s Calyrex by her side.

This Rocket could have killed her when he had gotten the chance. After all, Rocket would have not wanted the League to gain another asset of having Calyrex’s form restore its power.[break][break]

She could have burned to bits from the Galarian Moltres’ flames and left there to die with her friend, the shard of Calyrex that she cared for the most. It would be a far fitting end than to bear with the sin and guilt of being a princess who drew the ire of many Galarian people that believed she abandoned them to their fate in the Darkest Day.[break][break]

But as luck would have it, the Rocket chose not to kill her. He has let her live longer than she would in this conflict.[break][break]

If she died now, her father and younger sister would have to bury yet another body lost in the grievous conflict.[break][break]

“Your battling is much stronger than mine. It’s no wonder that you are one of the strongest Rockets I’ve faced and for that, I give you my respect.”[break][break]

She didn’t loathe to admit that. This Rocket was far stronger than she was and had the advantage of his shadow powers. Elise can’t compare to having a win over at her side, not until the Galarian princess can get stronger and train her shard more in the presence of Project SAPPHIRE.[break][break]

When Charles’ Tri Attack beam meets with the Fiery Wrath of the magenta flamed bird, the attacks sent a shockwave that knocks the ambassador off her feet. The two attacks were powerful enough that it sends an explosion of power from two powerful Pokemon fitting for a legendary standoff.[break][break]

And after the masked Rocket leaves on the back of his bird, she watches the avian Pokemon take off in the direction of Petalburg City. Her shard of Calyrex collapses to the ground in exhaustion and she picks him up in her arms.[break][break]

“When we meet again, I will become much stronger.”[break][break]

She has to get stronger if she wanted to defend Rustboro City from Rocket. The ambassador makes her way to Rustboro City to heal her Calyrex's injuries.

For what she had divulged in a moment of solemnity, she gets the same from Wyatt too. Hoenn was now becoming a battleground with the threat of war again, even after the Petalburg-Sootopolis War. As long as Rocket was around, they would try and take the other League owned cities and towns. Sootopolis was a neutral territory, so Elise wouldn’t count it as League owned.[break][break]

“I did not know they’ve taken your home too.” The ambassador replies with a little frown. Her Calyrex lets the female Scorbunny move towards his head where they were both species of their kind, only that the hare king is a little child or baby compared to the Scorbunny. Being born from the League’s Calyrex made the hare king child-like in comparison to his serious-minded princess.[break][break]

“I hope that we can both fight Rocket when a major war breaks out again.”[break][break]

Ears from the Calyrex hear the sound of a twig snapping from the other direction. Elise turns in seeing a red headed woman clad in black uniform. An R is seen on the chest which told the ambassador that this was a Rocket though she doesn’t think they are high up in their hierachy.[break][break]

Just a grunt that they had sent out to try and secure the road to Oldale Town.[break][break]

“Well, if it isn’t the traitorous prince’s cousin. You’ll pay for his betrayal.” The female Rocket grunt spits her venomous words as she sends out her Toxicroak and Salandit.[break][break]

It was another Rocket grunt that would hurt the Galarian princess just because she was related to the Rocket traitor. The shard of Calyrex snarls at the two Pokemon by the Rocket grunt’s side.[break][break]

“I don’t recall that your orders from your bosses would be to hurt me.” The princess becomes cold as the Crown Tundra’s snow when she replies to the grunt. “Or perhaps I can show you that you do not threaten the royal ambassador and princess of her country.”

A river by Route 119 had a swarm of Basulin and their Basculegion friends. The ambassador knows that Basculegion evolved from a certain striped Basculin and they were part Ghost type too…[break][break]

They were fitting party members for her league of ghosts that were friends with her. Elise releases her Calyrex shard, her Zoroark, and the shiny Zorua out to see them too. Inari picks up Kuro to let the little shiny fox stay in her mane as if she was acting as a big sister to the small Zorua.[break][break]

Charles looks down at the swimming fish Pokemon as he had never seen them up close. Blue eyes from the hare king watch the movements of the bass Pokemon, almost if he considered to fish them up.[break][break]

Elise hasn’t done fishing much before, that was what her father tended to do when he went there to many beaches in Hoenn. Her father really liked to fish when Elise was around, it reminded her father of the times that he fished while her late mother was alive…[break][break]

A splash of water came from the other direction where the Galarian ambassador looks down at the fish and she sees that the female Zoroark caught one of the fish in her paws. [break][break]

Inari was faster than she was and Elise hears another splash of water at Charles’ end. A little laugh came from the princess when she sees that the shard of Calyrex tried to catch one of the fish Pokemon with his bare paws and got himself wet in the process from the river waters.[break][break]

When the duo of knightly Pokemon go down, two new threats are released from their Pokeballs. A Roaring Moon and Shadow Alcremie were powerful Pokemon that made both her ghosts look like they were little toys. While the Armarouge and Ceruledge had put up a good fight, both of the disguised Rocket lady’s Pokemon would pose a bigger challenge than Elise thought.[break][break]

“I keep my head high as long as I can.” She said in confidence when the flames from the Roaring Moon make her Mismagius collapse in burns from the Flamethrower. Her Gengar gets a kiss from the shadowed cake-like Pokemon before a chilling Frost Breath takes out the tired ghost Pokemon.[break][break]

Returning both of her fainted ghost types, the ambassador knows that the battle was heating up now. She had taken all of the lessons that her gym challenges had given her and put them to this one fight.[break][break]

“Not a terrible win for you, you’ve definitely trained much since our last bout.” The Galarian ambassador speaks in respect too before she releases both the hare king and his ghostly steed, an ethereal Spectrier. “And I figure that if you are putting out your best Pokemon, I’d show you mine too.”[break][break]

The Calyrex shard gives a Helping Hand to the female Spectrier and he’ll attack the Roaring Moon with a Tri Attack as the tri-colored beam shoots out of the hare’s paws. Llamrei the Spectrier creates a Shadow Ball from her mouth and she launches it at the Shadow Alcremie.[break][break]

From the two legendary Pokemon, the hare king mimicked how the ambassador was doing her best to keep a composed and regal front, similar to the king that he was in the past. [break][break]

Like her shard, Elise too acts like a royal princess worthy of her aunt’s praise.
