The day had finally come for Olliver to uphold his end of the bargain. In exchange for having allowed him to live within her home, Olliver's caretaker had tasked Olliver with joining Team Rocket. A criminal organization that had been attempting to make use of the Hoenn regions innate instability as a way to seize power. Honestly.. It was a rather suitable location for one such as himself. After all, there would be no real stopping him from performing his research if he had worked for such duplicitous people. Perhaps this way he could find a way to make use of a Pokemon's power for himself.

Whether or not he could accomplish such a feat would be discovered in the future. Here and now though, in the present moment, Olliver had been sent to introduce himself to the staff that were located within headquarters. Supposedly there were those that would come and snag him from the lobby if he had waited long enough. This much was due to the fact that he was entirely new to the organization and hadn't really received much else outside of a few pairs of grunt clothing. As he had stood here and waited, he would be accompanied by another caretaker of his: a female Indeedee. For now, the two would simply wait, standing idly by, and looking rather tired.

Having still been relatively new to Team Rocket as a whole, Olliver had currently been assigned to some basic grunt work. Himself, and a few others, would be tasked with patrolling the ship to investigate the strange sounds that have been emitting throughout the ship in the dead of night. Each of the individuals assigned to this task had been split into groups and as far as he was aware, his partner was supposedly some woman that had gone by the name of Calpurnia?? Or Kelpie. Supposedly it depends on who you ask.

Regardless of what her name actually was, Olliver had decided to head to the rendezvous point that they were assigned to: The Cafeteria. As he had headed off in that direction, he would be sure call forth a singular Pokemon. His caretaker, Indeedee, would be summoned forth from her pokeball and would proceed to walk beside him. She might not have been all that effective in combat but she was surely a good partner to have around.

As embarrassing as it was to say, Olliver had managed to come to the meeting a bit late. Or at least, given the amount of people currently here, he had assumed as much. It was for this reason that he had hoped that he could sneak into the community courtyard without being too noticeable but quite honestly, sneaking wasn't quite his thing. All that he could hope for was that people would be too focused on the meeting at hand, and the introductions to one another, to take too much notice of him.

Once within the courtyard, Olliver would survey the area to try and get an account of what was going on. There were a few faces that he had recognized, given his dedication to learning who his superiors were, but that was really about it. More than anything else, what he would go on to recognize had been the Pokemon. Poipole, Genesect, Zoroark and Pyroar. All beautiful specimens, three of which he had only read documents about. "Hm.." Things would likely have gone smoother if he had known more of the people here. "I'll just... sit down." And so he had. For the time being, until the meeting starts or he is otherwise pulled away, Olliver would take a seat at the back and turn his attention to the things that were happening around him.

Another day, another pokedollar. Despite the fact that he could have headed home after his last excursion on this route, Olliver had decided that he would remain here for a little while longer. Honestly, the more Pokemon that he catches, the more individuals that he can make use of in his research. Admittedly though, he would much rather capture a bunch of psychic Pokemon. After all, they were the ones that tended to be the brightest of the bunch.

If he were being honest with himself, the hardest part of this whole process was the capturing process. Or well.. Obtaining pokeballs so that he could ensure that he had them when the time would call for them. The fact that he started his journey with a mere five pokeballs was something that was quite likely to get in the way of things. Take into consideration the fact that he had to make use of at least one of them prior to this moment and the probability of him being successful in his endeavors down here had decreased.

"Ugh.. This is going to be rather exhausting, now isn't it?? I honestly should have stopped by a shop before coming all the way out here. I don't know what I was thinking.. but it's whatever I guess." All that Olliver could really do at the moment was shake his head and continue on. He had still been riding on the back of his Metagross so.. Hopefully the pair would encounter something that they could take back with them soon.

Route 116.. This was the first step in Olliver's journey to become a fantastic researcher. One that could hopefully overcome the odds that were stacked against him. All that he could hope for is that things go alright as he takes the time to acquaint himself with the area. After all, it wasn't his Metagross that he wanted to make use of out here. It was his low leveled Indeedee and Slowpoke. Up to this point, his Indeedee had only served as a caretaker for himself and the Slowpoke. It hadn't really had a chance to make use of it's talents in battle. And as for the Slowpoke..?? Well it was simply the newest addition to the group. And, unfortunately, the dumbest. For now that is.

With that much having been said, Olliver and his group had currently been making their way down the route. Or, to be more apt, Metagross had been making his way down the route as Olliver had rested upon the massive creatures back whilst keeping the other two in their pokeballs for the time being. "Well now.. What shall we encounter this time around, huh Metagross?? Do you think we'll be able to successfully come upon additional psychic Pokémon?? From what I've read, this route seems to contain a variety of psychic and normal types."

In the event that anything were to happen, it was entirely possible that Metagross could remove the largest obstacle in their way and book it back to Rustboro City. Not that Olliver would immediately decide to retreat in the event that both Indeedee and Slowpoke had been knocked unconscious. If anything, it was rather likely that he would simply take the time to render the other creatures around unconscious before chucking a pokeball at them. Honestly.. Only time would really tell what Olliver would come upon at this rate. Would it be a psychic Pokémon? A normal type Pokémon? Or perhaps a human??
