Kouji looked over at Temp as he blinked slowly, very slowly, before he turned red.

”The hell! I’d be a be-” He stopped himself as he tried to avoid getting wound up by the earlier comment. ”I thought about it, thought against it; I know how a knife and gun work, but I don’t like using stuff I can’t understand.” He said with a shrug.

”Maybe if I understand it in the future, I’ll use it. Looks crazy useful, saw some kinda crazy rider chick use one once, to ride on the wing of some pokemon.” He said as he ran a hand through his hair, before he held it tightly, his eyes fixed on the crowd as he released his hair, and then allowed himself to fall back until he was leaning against a wooden wall, his arms crossed over his chest.

Kouji couldn’t help but release a deeper sigh at that.

Still, he tugged at the tunic that he wore underneath his dark brown cloak; his looser pants were of the same color, and yet the tunic was pure white with golden accents. He had a fake sword by his side, but yet.

”Aye, but I hope I ain’t gonna run into some guy called Frolo, I’m more of an Esmeralda fan.” He said between chuckles, it lightened the mood some, but he wanted action that he knew he wouldn’t get in a place like this one.

”What’s with that get-up anyway? Seems weird even for a place like this, tryna grow into your older brother’s clothes? Or is it Cil’s?” He said with a half smirk as he patted the sword at his side, his eyes scanned at the surroundings.

Kouji didn’t like dressing up, he also didn’t like places like this.

Fortree seemed to be a place he would keep returning for, and in this case, in this faire, it was a place they had a job to do. A trade of information, and yet the person who they needed to gather the information from had picked a disguise chosen by many others.

”Are all informants this annoying?” He whispered to his partner for this mission, Temp, a person he could get along with well, and yet Kouji craned his neck both which ways as if to feel out the mobility of it. His right arm was still hurt, and he still had a slight hobble; but he felt better, and that was all that mattered.

A part of him doubted it, he knew fire wasn’t useful for his Roaring Moon, but at the same time, he didn’t know what the core of this was, what was the point of being able to be charged by the sun, or the terrain.

”The hell, the more I think about it, the less this makes sense.” A plant under sunlight was one thing, but why the hell is a dragon being charged by the sun. ”One’s a machine, the other’s a dragon from the past…But they’re both being “charged” by this, and yet it’s the machine pokemon that makes more sense.”

A part in giving that question was to buy him time to think on SPECTRA, he had considered it, especially after running into those avatars. ”I’m thinking about it, I’d love to punch a few of ‘em in the face. Kouji didn’t know how to react to any of it, but he took the bar; he had a lot of thoughts running around in his head.

But he ate first, because that was what his body needed; sustenance to begin running smoother, the broken, battere machine that was his body needed fuel. He needed more, he needed to be able to understand more, to fight more, to attack more.

”Eating me? I just like to brawl…After all those fights, just how the hell do I calm down?” It was a day filled with brawls, battles, it was filled with everything he had sought for his entire life, to live for the glory of rocket was his only purpose since birth.

”I ain’t ‘gon get another day like that in a while, but I need to keep sharp. In a day…I’ve gotten stronger, my pokemon got stronger, we’ve all gotten better, and now I gotta sit in a medbay? The hell is that.”

Some humans lived in a completely different plane of existence.

”Not like we need’ta know now.” He said as he patted the back of Urshifu, who seemed a little put off by the Cubfu at this leg.

”He probably thinks you’re his papa…How’s it feel bud’, you’re a dad now.” He said before snickers broke out which eventually turned into a full laugh.

His Urshifu released a huff as he reached down and grabbed the younger fighting bear by the scruff, and lifted him up.

”Yeah, just get him started, show him a move. Try using…Iron Head, it’ll be useful for ‘im.” Kouji said as Urshifu nodded before putting the Cubfu down and rubbing his own head for a moment.

Urshifu’s head shone in a silver light, before a metallic sheen took over it; he stomped onto the ground hard, dust was kicked up, the sound of rocks creaking echoed in the clearing before he leapt forward. The distinctive whistle of a fast moving object moving through the air, like a human-bear shaped bullet through the air that struck against a Beedrill, sending it crashing against a tree.

There was no choice but to slash the man; the brawl was something worthless; his knife flashed in the struggle, and he slipped it in between the ribs of the man, his expression fell from a smirk to a neutral expression, a deadpan. He never enjoyed taking lives, he would never like it either, he was just a machine and this was the result of his operations.
