The severity of their situation hadn't settled in for until now. After their jailers laugh and BEAT his fellow inmate to a pulp, however, FEAR begins to creep in. He'd escaped dangerous circumstances before but what if he never escaped this one? Was this where life as he knew it would finally come to an end?[break][break]

The RAGE he'd felt for had numbed him to this raw FEAR earlier. Now he nearly felt immobilized by it.[break][break]

He gazes across the room to the masked woman standing beside the beaten inmate. He can't know that it's but he knows she'll have to share a cell with that bloody mess.[break][break]

Meanwhile, the workday may be done, but the results of their competition certainly seem to strike a nerve with their warden OKIDOGI. Then he pays witness to the punishment for their misdeeds, slightly wincing when their respective Pokémon partners are smashed to bits with a mallet.[break][break]

The execution of the BLOODMOON URSALUNA sparks interest in Remiel, but he refrains from any further investigation. Playing along was the top priority for now. At least until he figured out a solid plan of some sort.[break][break]

So, when his ward is presented with a DILEMMA, the EX-ADMIN takes a deep breath and provides his input. "Why would we FORSAKE each other? Despite our affiliations in the world we left behind, we're all in this together here." He adds, not quite believing it entirely himself as he casts a brief look at standing beside him. TAPU KOKO defends against the BOLT STRIKE well enough, but doesn't expect to immediately get attacked from the side afterward. Summoning the power of its BRAVE BIRD, however, the indignant guardian charges at the raging Garchomp. The two clash and become a violent mass of tooth and claw as they fervently strike at each other.[break][break]

Any blow the LAND SPIRIT lands, however, seems to be completely IGNORED. Damaged CRITICALLY, it WITHDRAWS into its hell once more; tightly, this time. The ball it has formed weathers the onslaught that continues afterward anyway. Except this time, it doesn't reemerge from behind the cover of its shell so quickly.[break][break]

"Your Garchomp isn't holding back," Remiel awes at the scene from above. "Is this the power of its Z-MOVE? Unlocking its berserker state?" His own Garchomp, in the meantime, huffs. She may also be impressed, but she's too proud to admit... at least until the mating season comes around again. Then she might have found a mate worthy to have offspring with.[break][break]

However, as the dust cloud settles, so does the battle. ZEKROM attempts to pry TAPU KOKO open with a BREAKING SWIPE of its claws after Vortigern has exhausted himself trying. The LAND SPIRIT makes a noise from behind its shell, then peeks out to regard the other two with a glare. Once it is sure they won't attack, it reemerges and tends to itself.[break][break]

"I suppose we didn't exactly give TAPU KOKO a fair fight," Remiel chuckles. "But this was an illuminating battle nonetheless. Certainly worthwhile." The AVATAR nods.[break][break]

Frankly, it reminded him of the kind of training he'd employ in SPECTRA.[break][break]

The one that descended the platform first to preside over them was the larger one, and its bravado was evident for everyone to see.[break][break]

As it unloads the crates, the Galarian turns his attention to the other MEGALOPOLANS on his floor. "Five guards. TOXIC CHAINED." He mutters to himself, briefly turning over his shoulder to eye Cillian. Things begin to get interesting, however, when those crates are opened to reveal the MOCHI he's found above ground on a few occasions.[break][break]

Afterward, he listens to the possessed MEGALOPOLANS words. Though he begins to wonder if possessed is even the right word when they speak of a place where they 'belong'. Was this the MEGALOPOLANS speaking or the LOYAL THREE through them?[break][break]

Whatever the case, the carnage that follows the refusal of the MOCHI makes one thing clear: playing along was the only way to survive... for now.[break][break]

Remiel grimaces at the sight of the deceased prisoner nearby. With a sharp sniff he dispels the odor from his nostrils before picking up a large rock in his hand. He's shuffled towards the center of the ward like everyone else, careful not to bump into his cellmate as they get to work.[break][break]

The clanging of stone against crystal is constant. Remiel only pauses from his to readjust the rock in his hand, using that as an excuse to shift a look at his cellmate and huff. "You've been awfully quiet. Accept your fate, Quinn?"[break][break]

Remiel chuckles at Gunner's response. Of course it is, he thinks. If it hadn't been spoiled to him prior, the exiled prince was certain the man would have kept his very name confidential, too. Everything was on a need-to-know basis with him. And didn't get to know anything.[break][break]

The lock clicks open after the royal has inserted the correct key. Then, once he's stepped past the gate, he proceeds toward the generator as Gunner makes his next inquiry. "I train myself. I train with ZEKROM, too— when I'm allowed to visit." He adds, switching on the generator before turning to gauge the other man's reaction.[break][break]

And, at the sight of it, he sighs.

"I'm an AVATAR with a generous price on his head, Mr. Graves," The Galarian says, pausing to pull the generator's crank and hear it roar to life. Just nearby, the lights in his home flicker on. It's a three-way connection. A game of telephone with gods of righteous fury. Though, if anyone were to take part in it, the one known to the DRK TRIAD as 'the EXACTING' would be it. And, as far as Remiel can tell, his ZEKROM transmits the information it gathers seamlessly to him. The DRK TRIAD had sent the ULTRA PLANT ZEKROM here to keep the MEGALOPOLANS from building a city. The ULTRA PLANT ZEKROM was not, in fact, from the ULTRA PLANT realm at all. It was as alien here as they were, though this one had a clearer mission in mind: to keep anyone or anything from settling here permanently. To purge it completely.[break][break]

Suddenly the communication ends.

A bright blue FUSION BOLT collides with a vibrant green SPIKY SHIELD, two orbs of pulsating energy melding with each other at the point of contact. After rolling up his sleeve to reveal a TERA ORB bracelet, Remiel lifts a hand to his ear to activate his comms. A wild SEEDOT manages to SUCKER PUNCH Nike with a headbutt. The Lucario, however, withstands this blow. With a sharp glare, she raises her paw, spawns a bone in her grasp, and beats the Grass-type down with a BONE RUSH.[break][break]

Eventually, the Seedot gets whacked so hard that it goes flying upward into the branches. It doesn't come back down again, however. Remiel and Nike just assume it got stuck up there and move on.[break][break]

The MIMIKYU catches Nike off guard with its darling BABY-DOLL EYES. This proves to be a good test of the Lucario's willpower. For a second there, Remiel even begins to think she will lose.[break][break]

Before the living doll can SHADOW CLAW her, however, Nike strikes first with a WATER PULSE. The Mimikyu is cast backward into a tree with a violent splash of water. When it staggers back up, its neck appears broken and it seems CONFUSED.[break][break]

Catching it within the confines of a Luxury Ball is easy enough afterward.[break][break]

With a great pull, the two free the RUSTED SWORD from the stone. "Choosing between the SWORD and the SHIELD is a constant facet of life," Remiel responds, stepping back and prompting Desiree to do the same as the stone crumbles in front of them. "Actions and reactions. Picking one over the other can make a world of difference."[break][break]

In the wake of the stone's crumbling, they soon find themselves face-to-face with none other than ZACIAN. The crown prince reaches out to gently pet the side of the canine's snout, then turns back to Desiree with a smile. "I think our friend here has chosen the blade, too. We should hand it over." He adds, reaching out to take the sword from her.[break][break]

And, once ZACIAN grabs the hilt with its teeth, the two witness a marvelous transformation. When beckoned to join it, Remiel summons a CHARIZARD to the fray and swiftly mounts it.[break][break]

There's a brief pause; the space where an explanation of ZEKROM's (and his) rampage might have gone. Instead, he categorizes that event as inessential before continuing with the surface-level facts instead. "Without backup, there was little ZEKROM and I could do but hold them off while one of theirs positioned herself to grab the LIGHT STONE when it appeared."[break][break]
