Envisioning the future of the region requires a reconcilation of the past— but what if we're on the wrong side of the present?

Several trainers are sucked out of the current timestream and are forced to warp through Hoenn's history thanks to DIALGA'S meddling. In the process, they relive the site's events— while also gleaning new information and perspectives. For example, BRYAN DELAROSA is granted the brief, transient knowledge of how to create a TYPE:NULL. Furthermore, those tossed through time discover what happened to DAHLIA GOODE after Halloween, finding that a NIHILEGO had taken over her mental faculties for a period of time thanks to its neurotoxins.

💠 NOVEMBER 2020

each warfront, LILYCOVE, MAUVILLE, and METEOR FALLS have been dug into by the MEGALOPOLANS, revealing incredible cave systems hidden underneath the surface. A company by the name of HOENN ADVENTOURS has requested intrepid and capable trainers to investigate the caves both megalopolan-made and natural to discover what's contained within. As a cherry on top, "adventourers" are allowed to take whatever they find!

several trainers subdue and capture HEATRAN after placing a magma stone in an underground altar. SKYLER DROSS discovers a piece of the BLUE ORB VELMOS had smashed with his teeth.

KATHERINE FAIRBURNE and her party unwittingly find a portal to the DISTORTION WORLD. There, an ORIGIN FORM GIRATINA bestows her with its powers with the ulterior motive of finding the GRISEOUS ORB before its counterpart (ALTERED FORM GIRATINA) can.

odd plates with enscriptions written on their backs are discovered throughout these adventours. CHRYSSA GLASGOW and ZAC RAMSAY begin to collect these.

TEAM ROCKET and the LEAGUE scramble to scavenge leftover tools from ULTRA SPACE. The recent rumors of MEGALOPOLANS near MAUVILLE is a call for concern but that isn't enough to dissuade trainers from pursuing HOENN ADVENTOURS. Several companies have laid their stake in these endeavors by employing trainers to excavate nearby ruins.

⭐ JANUARY 2021

the LEAGUE holds a press conference, announcing the AVATAR QUALITY AND UNIVERSAL ACTION (A.Q.U.A.) INTIATIVE. DAHLIA GOODE intends to use the initiative to gather avatars to help protect the region against all manner of threats, while secretly keeping tabs on them.

eventually, the press conference is interrupted by DECLAN WALSH, THE BOSS OF THE HOENNIAN BRANCH OF TEAM ROCKET. Disparaging the LEAGUE for failing to protect the region effectively, the Rocket Boss reveals team rocket to be the possible salvation for the region. He reveals footage of KANTO, which seems relatively at peace.

INFINITY INDUSTRIES buys out GREATER MAUVILLE HOLDINGS under OSCAR CLAYTON's direction and FERNANDO SILPH's guidance. Subsequently, this new GMH now supplies most of Hoenn's power.

SAM CARTER acquires ownership of MT. PYRE. Upon his inception, the mountain has opened up burials for humans as well. Digital and electrical infrastructure for the burial service is developed, while Carter attempts to forge the mountain as NEUTRAL LAND.

UNDERBOSS CHU-E licks a rock fragment from NECROZMA. An insidious need to lick the rock again begins to grow within him, warping his curiosity...

OLDALE TOWN celebrates the new year by celebrating with a festival dedicated to one's ancestors and life's vitality, represented by oxen pokemon like TAUROS. Fireworks are accidentally set off by PEGGIE VELA and PRIAM CONRAD, causing reserve TAUROS to be released accidentally into the crowd.

during the festival, TAPU BULU awakens from the chaos and eventually grants ZAC RAMSAY its power.

ZAC RAMSAY opens up LAVARIDGE GYM and hosts popular BIOME CONTESTS much to the delight of Hoenn's populace.

A TOWER TO SPACE is attempted by ZAC RAMSAY, JOHN DOUGLAS SULLIVAN, KAZIMIR WYNTER, ANGELO VESTRI, ANDY BLACKADDER, KYLE LOPEZ, MELODY MIRO, MICHIKO MAEDA, ALEXEI IVANOV, CHU-E CHOI. However, they are interrupted by a VOLCANION who detests all humanmade things. After a battle, the Pokemon leaves, vaguely mentioning that they must find THE SOUL HEART before it is too late.

GENESECT escapes its confines and terrorizes ROCKET HEADQUARTERS. Search squads are ordered to corner the synthetic Pokemon; however, the attempt to capture the renegade robot results in the submarine needing repairs.

a small privately-owned delivery service begins to gain more traction after having been in the business for awhile. LOCKE JAMISON, a KANTONIAN REFUGEE finds that DELIBIRD DELIVERIES is becoming more well-known.

FAMOUS SINGER, MELODY MIRO opens up their gym in SOOTOPOLIS.

as Rocket's submarine surfaces for further maintenance, DECLAN WALSH holds a meeting. Here, he distributes SHADOW POKEMON to several Team Rocket members (LULU FLINT, ALEXANDRA BRIARWOOD, OSCAR CLAYTON, SERENA MALCOLM, BRYAN DELAROSA), while a GUZZLORD is granted to PRIAM CONRAD. Subsequently, DARKRAI chooses HEAD SCIENTIST LULU FLINT as its avatar.

afterward, Rocket Boss Declan Walsh asks PRIAM CONRAD and BRYAN DELAROSA to spearhead the search for remnants of XERNEAS— but opens the expeditions to the rest of the syndicate. Using an ETERNAL FLOETTE imbued with Xerneas' energy, dubbed INFINITY ENERGY by Rocket, Merlino's SHADOW LUGIA gains better control of its faculties. Subsequently, the SHADOW LUGIA grants GAVIN MERLINO its avatar blessing.

later, with WALSH'S permission, MARIE JULES questions captured JULES COTILLARD, about the machine that the ETERNAL FLOETTE was placed into to help harness INFINITY ENERGY.

THE COMMISSIONER, DAHLIA GOODE, calls upon BALDER SCHWARTZ and creates a contract with him for to be her personal bodyguard. In exchange, she hopes to grant him redemption in the eyes of the LEAGUE and public, while also promising to help him try to find SOLGALEO again.

DAHLIA GOODE calls upon all known avatars and higher-ups in the League, including scientists and the Elite Four. During this conference, she offers a contract (AQUA INITIATIVE) for the avatars and witnesses involved. ORION LYKOS, KIM COLE-ESSAM, THOMAS BENOIT, EVA MORALES, ZENJI JABAMI, ILLEANA REYES, FERNANDO SILPH, KYLE LOPEZ, LAURENCE ANDERSON, BALDER SCHWARTZ, ZAC RAMSAY, KATHERINE FAIRBURNE, and SÉNON GAME all sign the document, while STORMY SILPH accepts a week later.

At the meeting, it is revealed that a large METEROID, named 99943 meteno is headed toward Hoenn in 10 YEARS. It also revealed that PRIMAL ENERGY can allow for the shifting of dimensions. Preliminary tests using confiscated machines from the warfronts have revealed that this energy can create wormholes— but not to ultra space.

A PRIMAL CRYSTAL reacts to something unseen in the room. The beams of energy strike ILLEANA REYES, restoring a remnant of TAPU LELE'S energy that was dormant in her ever since the deity had left. FERNANDO SILPH and KYLE LOPEZ also receive some refinement of their powers after being hit. MORALES, JAMABI, and REYES are tasked with researching PRIMAL ENERGY further.

SÉNON GAME accepts the position of HEAD RANGER and is bestowed a pilfered ZERAORA for his service. He trains a pilfered HEATRAN for the League as well, while serving as an ambassador to KANTO. These Pokemon were retrieved from DOMINIC SINCLAIR and MARCEL MAEDA during their return to KANTO; the intel was provided by KAZIMIR WYNTER thanks to his past escape from the ROCKET SUBMARINE. The fates of SINCLAIR and MAEDA are unknown, presumably dead.

Afterward, DAHLIA GOODE reveals to the group that the previous champion, BAILEY COOPER, has perished from FATAL PRIMAL ENERGY INTOXICATION. Her Groudon has left— and with it a major rock that possessed the primal energy that was channeled into Cooper before her death. Furthermore, an asteroid is headed toward Hoenn in 10 YEARS which is known thanks to tracking by MOSSDEEP SPACE CENTER.

Mossdeep scientists and the League have discovered that the a fragment of that major rock (donated by Cooper) has the odd ability to SHIFT IN AND OUT OF DIMENSION. It is unclear as to where this fragment goes; however, DAHLIA GOODE believes one way to save Hoenn from the incoming asteroid is to WARP IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

She entrusts the AQUA INITIATIVE and other members of the League later, to help track down GROUDON and other remnants of PRIMAL ENERGY. In particular, EVA MORALES and ILLEANA REYES are asked to help research the possibilities of this energy— and anything related to it.

a large picnic extragavanza is held in VERDANTURF TOWN, allowing the region's trainers to congregate and relax.

MAUVILLE'S GYM LEADER, JOHN DOUG SULLIVAN, opens up their gym and is praised for its effectiveness in training LEAGUE SOLDIERS.

Team Rocket & the League set on excursions for their respective factions. While one searches for remnants of XERNEAS to harvest INFINITY ENERGY, the other seeks out GROUDON by tracing and harvesting the PRIMAL ENERGY left in its wake. However, it is clear that such expeditions will be fraught with danger. Both factions have acquired intel on what the other is doing— and will attempt to subvert the other's efforts.

during excursions, PHIONE, MANAPHY, LATIAS, MELTAN, ZARUDE, CRESSELIA, TERRAKION, and REGIDRAGO are encountered. Notably, ANGELO VESTRI finds a partnership with LATIAS due to his possession of the SOUL DEW, while MICHIKO MAEDA is granted a special EGG from MANAPHY, which hatches into a PHIONE that knows HEART SWAP.

after discovering an odd machine similar to JULES COTILLARD'S SHINY MACHINES in the CAVE OF ORIGIN, ROWAN WRYNN enlists the help of YUI FUJIN SILPH to extract data from it. They find unscrubbed, corrupted file data: "mcNO1102... dimensionch... DRKtriad". They continue their investigation by breaking into SOOTOPOLIS' SILVER SPIRE owned by the ABBIATI FAMILY and discover lore about THE PEOPLE OF WATER.

Known to the public for her sharp mouth, poor personality, past scandals and controversial opinions, GINA GRAY ascends to a position on the HOENN COUNCIL after FERNANDO SILPH'S abdication.

RAZZ KINGSMAN encounters a RESHIRAM with alongside its murdered AVATAR. The RESHIRAM reveals that they were chased by an unknown figure wearing black clothes and a curious logo. Subsequently, in search for the truth, RESHIRAM BESTOWS AVATARSHIP TO KINGSMAN.

ANDY BLACKADDER posts flyers around Hoenn suggesting a Legendary Pokemon hunt. Recruiting youth, Blackadder leads an expedition that brings HIDEO KINO, JOHN DOUGLAS SULLIVAN, ERIS HALLA, RUBY WALKER, ARASHI AKIYAMA to a horrific discovery: a frenzied TYPE: NULL that has been killing to survive after being subjected to JULES COTILLARD'S frequencies in THE ULTRA BEAST WAR.

⭐ JULY 2021

THE HOENN STAR TOURNAMENT begins. This celebration cycles with the pokeathalon every four years. SLATEPORT has been remodeled to accommodate visitors from the other regions with local specialties and plenty of festivities. Aspiring trainers from all over the world gather to participate in a week long clash of battles.

MELODY MIRO calls upon those who previously encountered the VOLCANION so they can lure it in again with a large lighthouse in SOOTOPOLIS. DAHLIA GOODE allows her to embed a PRIMAL CRYSTAL SHARD in the lighthouse; however, this attracts a RAYQUAZA instead, which attempts to steal the quartz. JOHN DOUGLASS SULLIVAN takes the shard, attempting to lure the dragon away— but THE UNSTABLE SHARD REACTS to something unseen and strikes the RAYQUAZA WITH AN ENERGY BEAM. After it is struck, the RAYQUAZA is nowhere to be seen.

ADMIN KILLIAN DECKER and ALEXANDRA BRIARWOOD infiltrate MOSSDEEP SPACE CENTER to procure a sample of the METEOR FALLS METEOROID that housed DEOXYS.

DR. EVA MORALES and DAHLIA GOODE perform an autopsy report on PIGGIE SMALLS, BAILEY COOPER'S DECEASED SPOINK. They discover that the Pokemon has died from PRIMAL ENERGY INTOXICATION and... a curious, clean removal of inner organs. Inside the stomach cavity, they encounter an UNOWN.

KIM COLE-ESSAM is instructed by DAHLIA GOODE to investigate seismic activity in a Hoenn desert. In the process, he forges a deal with a HOOPA and becomes its avatar.

thanks to CHU-E CHOI, PEGGIE VELA, LULU FLINT, MILES SHARP, PRIAM CONRAD, and the unknowing assistance of FERNANDO SILPH, the Rocket Beast, OSCAR CLAYTON has been able to repair GENESECT for his own use.

COUNCILMAN ORION LYKOS is kidnapped by TEAM ROCKET and tortured by UNDERBOSS CHU-E CHOI for information.

💠

TEAM ROCKET begins to infiltrate SOOTOPOLIS CITY. They prepare an invasion of the city with propaganda and the creation of safehouses, while also planning the kidnapping of popular gym leader, MELODY MIRO.

⭐ LATE AUGUST 2021

DESOLATE LAND. The League responds to a GROUDON'S presence at Mt. Chimney which is about to erupt. At Mt. Chimney, what some assume to be temporal disruptions occur, causing stretches of what many believe to be Hoenn's past to open up into the present. GIONA FERRARA, ZAC RAMSAY, and ZENJI JABAMI encounter a man in the "past" and are bestowed "Groudon-avatar powers" through a catalyst (clothes, accessory) of their choosing. Eventually, the League and other participating volunteers are able to stop Mt. Chimney from erupting into modern Hoenn and instead, have caused it to erupt into the "past".


However, in the process, the RED ORB is destroyed. Groudon disappears with REGIDRAGO deeper into the volcano, and UNOWN ASSASSINS target Avatars and retaliate against those who see them.

⭐

STAIRCASE SCHISMS. Taking advantage of the situation, Team Rocket commences its takeover of Sootopolis. In the process, spatial distortions occur, causing the multiple stone levels of the crater city to rise and shift around. As Sootopolis is overrun by Team Rocket sympathizers and the crime syndicate itself, multiple skirmishes occur.


ROCKET BOSS DECLAN WALSH lures SKYLER DROSS into the Cave of Origin alongside several other trainers by using his DARKRAI AVATAR POWERS to disguise himself as ANGELO VESTRI. Attempting to entice Skyler into joining Rocket, he hands her the final piece of the BLUE ORB she possesses. Consequently, he departs as the BLUE ORB summons a slumbering KYOGRE.


As KYOGRE rampages outside the city, Team Rocket continues to force LEAGUE OFFICERS and RANGERS out of the city. The League attempts to evacuate civilians with mass teleportations— but in the process, PRIMAL QUARTZ SHARDS are used to teleport the ANCIENT RUINS affixed to the bottom of the ABBIATI SEA TEMPLE. The Temple is subsequently destroyed by KYLE LOPEZ. After the teleportation of the ruins, in its place, a massive TREE OF LIFE suddenly warps into the center of Sootopolis as the spatial disruptions are reversed.


By the end of the takeover, Team Rocket succeeds in occupying the city. BALDER SCHWARTZ and MELODY MIRO have been kidnapped by Team Rocket. The Rocket Submarine now rests where Kyogre once was in the Cave of Origin. Eventually, BILL ANDERSON becomes a COUNCILMAN for the League in order to oversee Sootopolis, with GWYAR WLEDIG contracted by the League from Interpol.

JAYDEN CROSS is promoted to ROCKET BEAST after proving his capabilities in the Hoenn Star Tournament and during the takeover of Sootopolis City.

ROWAN WRYNN is promoted to ROCKET BEAST for killing NOAH FABER'S ACE, MACHAMP.

SERENA MALCOM is promoted ROCKET BEAST and is tasked with taking down KATHERINE FAIRBURNE due to her defection from TEAM ROCKET considering the demise of her Liepard.

⭐ FEW DAYS AFTERWARD.

CATS VS. DOGS. Two beachside pop-ups appear on Slateport Beach. The food stalls are run by a Chef Meowth and Slurpuff, with no owner in sight. In order to aid these abandoned Pokemon, trainers filled in to help fulfil orders on their behalf. Eventually, the blond owner of these Pokemon arrive to close shop, his shoulder in pain from an unknown injury. By the end, those who have completed a successful service are able to find a data chip or USB drive in a MYSTERIOUS DEVICE. The data within contains a dictionary-like application entitled THE UNOWN REPORT.

MATIAS SILPH becomes a member of the ELITE FOUR.

💠

LULU FLINT and KILLIAN DECKER make contact with AN ALIEN LIFE-FORM. They do this by using their PSYCHIC-TYPE POKEMON and a METEORITE FRAGMENT pilfered from Mossdeep by DECKER and ALEXANDRA BRIARWOOD. Eventually, they deduce that the meteoroid heading toward Hoenn is speeding up dramatically and may make impact not in ten years, but one. (BEYOND).

⭐ SEPTEMBER 2021

METEORIC MEETINGS. The Litleonids, a meteor shower that comes every 11-12 years, comes several years early. As Mossdeep astronomers such as DR. NISA HOLO attempt investigate why this is the case, a STAR SOIREE is held at one of Mossdeep's Observatories. However, as the meteor shower nears, meteorite fragments strike Hoenn. Upon impact, dimensional breaks occur, causing the INTERDREAM ZONE to emerge into physical space. Those who are lost in the INTERDREAM ZONE find their dreams manifesting physically— until the encroaching UNOWN DIMENSION corrupts them.


As trainers attempt to escape the Interdream Zone, several UNOWN ASSASSINS attack AVATARS in the INTERDREAM ZONE and are able to eliminate STORMY LLEWELLYN's MOLTRES. Many others are caught in the cross-fire, before fleeing back to Hoenn. FRIENDLY UNOWN owned by Hoenn trainers are able to SEAL THE DIMENSIONAL RIFTS before returning to the soiree. Eventually, the event ends.


In the aftermath, unbeknownst to those who have attended, DR. NISA HOLO meets with three WHITE-HAIRED UNOWN ASSASSINS who own UNOWN-D, UNOWN-R, and UNOWN-K. One of them is revealed to be the blond chef from the CATS VS. DOGS COOK-OFF.

⭐ OCTOBER 2021

KAZIMIR WYNTER becomes a member of the ELITE FOUR before being invited to The A.Q.U.A. INITIATIVE as an auxiliary force by Commissioner Goode. Furthermore, he is eventually revealed to be the vigilante, THE POKKENGER.

⭐ NOVEMBER 2021

In the late days of the autumnal month, The A.Q.U.A. INITIATIVE explores the teleported ruins that were once attached to the ABBIATI SEA TEMPLE in Sootopolis. Equipping the team with prototype SYGNA SUITS, the Commissioner reveals that the ruins have been teleported into a dimensional pocket isolated by the League. During their expedition, they are teleported to an alternate universe where KYOGRE overcame GROUDON, flooding most of the region (if not the world). During their clash with their alternate "sea selves", they realize the Abbiati family had made a deal with the sea people, offering resources and treasure for Pokemon. Eventually, they escape back to their home region.



Simultaneously, Team Rocket leads an excursion into the TREE OF LIFE in Sootopolis City. In the process, they discover new species of Pokemon (Kleavor) they have never seen before. While the syndicate uncovers that they are in a different realm entirely—the tree having been misplaced into their world from another—they encounter shrines that grant them with the power to become part-Pokemon. Eventually, they find a Xerneas being sapped of its life energy by a gargantuan Seviper. After killing this "world serpent", they escape by way of Unown portal, and find that the Tree of Life has grown to shadow Sootopolis itself.

The events of RANGER RAIDS REDUX.

⭐ DECEMBER-JANUARY '21-'22

Around Hoenn, never before seen flyers are stacked near convenience stores, newspaper stands, or posted on poles. They beckon readers to send letters to an anonymous figure named, "Father Winter". Those who have answered the crossword puzzle correctly by luck, Unown Report, or with assistance have been invited to meet "Father" Winter" in January within the deepest part of GRANITE CAVE.

⭐ FEBRUARY

Space-Time Distortions begin to appear across Hoenn, a temporary phenomena that disturbs temporal and spatial stability within the dimension. Within these isolated areas, Hisuian Pokemon can be found or shifted into.

February 6th, FERNANDO SILPH creates MEWTWO.

💠

ANGELO VESTRI encounters a fragment of VICTINI'S SOUL which is siphoned to his SOUL DEW. Simultaneously, he resurrects a LATIOS and partners with it.

⭐ MARCH-APRIL

A tea house called the Fleur Tea Atelier opens a Tiered Tea Room Challenge, where trainers progress through a series of challenges. However, it is revealed that members of the DRK TRIAD, a mysterious organization of Unown-wielding assassins, have infiltrated the upper floors. Those who are successful meet a white-haired lady with an Unown-A & Enamorus, who uses and grants the move, SPRINGTIDE STORM unto Pokemon. Unbeknownst to the trainers, the move also infects the Pokemon with a Pokerus variant, POKERUS-Y.

⭐ MID APRIL

Mysterious flowers filled with INFINITY ENERGY called CRYSTABLOOMS spread across the region. Simultaneously, a new Pokemon Nursery called The Hatchery appears mysteriously on Route 118. Pokemon breed at a higher frequency during this time, producing curious phenomena such as ILLUMINA, LESSER SHADOW POKEMON, and PURIFIED POKEMON. Some learn the move, LIGHT OF RUIN due to the influx of INFINITY ENERGY. In the process, POKERUS-Y is spread. Unbeknownst to BRYAN DELAROSA, his use of GEOMANCY in the TREE OF LIFE is one of the reasons why the region has begun to overflow with this vital, bioenergy.

⭐ MAY

Dahlia Goode's government announces that a meteoroid is heading toward Hoenn. Their plan is to warp the meteoroid into a hostile, alternate universe dubbed "Sea Hoenn" with the use of PRIMAL SHARDS, rock that has been imbued with a massive amount of PRIMAL ENERGY. Primal Shards are set into machines throughout Hoenn in locations such as MT. PYRE, SLATEPORT CITY, MOSSDEEP CITY and more in preparation.


Attacks from Sea Hoenn commence through the dimensional pocket underneath Rustboro City. Curiously, when the invaders are defeated, some will warp back, their bodies glowing with pattern similar to the primal markings of the Late Bailey Cooper, SKYLER DROSS and MATIAS SILPH.

MATIAS SILPH and MELODY MIRO teleport to what was originally thought to be a past Hoenn (Desolate Land). The two realize the "past Hoenn" is actually a "Land Hoenn" where Groudon had won; however, the Regidrago and Hoenn-Groudon that had teleported there have engaged in continual conflict, killing the Land Hoenn's Groudon. By the end, Matias becomes avatar of Groudon, and the two leave an alternate Zac Ramsay to an unknown fate with the Regidrago.

TAPU BULU and its former avatar part ways; Tapu Bulu decides to search for someone to entrust its power to in order to hold a stake in the region's fate.

EVA MORALES persuades DAHLIA GOODE to allow her time to find another solution to the incoming meteoroid. Her plans include JOHN DOUGLAS SULLIVAN, MELODY MIRO, SKYLER DROSS, and FREYA MORNINGSTAR as they search for the RAYQUAZA that had been teleported out of Hoenn.

The rock band, TERAVOLT releases their full-length debut album, FA>FO. Comprised of ADRIAN MALCOLM and CALLAN YOUNG, they find instant success.

⭐JUNE

Conveniently, before NECROZMA'S ATTACK ON SOOTOPOLIS, The Hatchery closes. A riddle is drawn across its abandoned shack walls: "THE MORE THERE IS OF ME, THE LESS YOU SEE. WHAT AM I?". Unbeknownst to the populace, the rise of Illumina and Pokerus-Y Pokemon have contributed to luring NECROZMA to Hoenn.


Attracted by the massive influx of INFINITY ENERGY, NECROZMA attacks the Tree of Life in Sootopolis City. The Tree of Life ceases to exist afterward and Necrozma splits from Chu-e Choi. The disaster siphons much of the Infinity Energy from Hoenn, rendering Crystablooms scarce. Afterward, Necrozma appears across Hoenn in several locations before disappearing...


In the same night, COUNCILMAN FERNANDO SILPH is kidnapped. Suspicion is cast toward Team Rocket and he is released soon after with injuries.


In the aftermath, ELINOR ANDERSON joins the League Council. Team Rocket appoints THEO BECKETT an Underboss position, while FELIX GALLAGHER, ELISABETH FIORELLI and JAYDEN CROSS ascend to Admin seats.

⭐JULY

The survey company, PASSERBY ANALYTICS HQ, expands its services from Castelia City to Hoenn. A riddle is occasionally found within the survey, which directs characters toward the edge of Hoenn's nautical boundary. There, it is discovered that Hoenn is enclosed in an invisible, spatial dome. This barrier has a convenient opening at its peak that is wide enough for the incoming meteoroid to plunge into.

Brave trainers who have followed the riddle from PASSERBY ANAYLYTICS HQ encounter a doppelganger of the late Bailey Cooper. Lured by oddly familiar voices and another riddle, they find themselves in a dangerous predicament. By the end, they learn why Hoenn is the "origin point".

⭐AUGUST

DAHLIA GOODE calls for another meeting of League's higher-ups and the AQUA Initiative. A plan is devised to warp the 99943 METENO meteoroid using primal crystals. After much debate, Mt. Pyre, Granite Cave, the Desert, Fortree City and Petalburg City & Woods were designated as locations for the "primal points," machines that would be responsible for firing primal energy for teleportation.

THE RANGERS HOLD A SUMMIT IN LILYCOVE after the Aqua Initiative's meeting. Conducted by Ranger Captain, OLLIE MORALES, and Head Ranger LARS ANDERSON, the recent promotions of of GUILLERMO MARCELINO & ANNALISE HENDERSON are celebrated, while the firing of SENON GAME from the Head Ranger position is lamented. Roles of the ranger organization are discussed for 99943 METENO.

⭐SEPTEMBER

DECLAN WALSH assembles Team Rocket at Sootopolis City. There, plans to harvest the mysterious mineral found on 99943 METENO are created, while notions of further advancement into League territory is discussed. Here, it is revealed some Megalopolans have allied themselves with Team Rocket, promising to aid them in their attack on Littleroot.

IN LIGHT OF RECENT EVENTS, INCLUDING NECROZMA'S ATTACK ON SOOTOPOLIS, newly appointed Councilwoman, PENELOPE LIVY, devises a new initiative called VALOR. Meant to stabilize and support the region for it to thrive, missions are delivered to higher-ups in the League. The initiative continues to operate, connecting civilians with additional resources and soothing Hoenn's scars both natural and infrastructural.

JOSH DEVLIN becomes Gym Leader of MAUVILLE CITY.

⭐OCTOBER

A wandering Delphox roams throughout Hoenn. Rumors has it that it telekinetically carries a cauldron where ever it goes before leaving it seemingly unattended for passersby to try and brew a potent potion of their own...

⭐NOVEMBER

The 99943 METENO is engaged with by both the League and Team Rocket. As civilians are evacuated into bunkers and shelters, both factions clash in three separate locations: Mt. Pyre, Littleroot Town, and on the meteoroid itself. Team Rocket engages Mt. Pyre to extend mining time on the meteoroid, while Littleroot is sieged due to an energy source presumably present deep underneath the town.


The League manages to warp the meteoroid to Sea Hoenn.ILLEANA REYES and others near her, discover that Sea Hoenn's world has survived the impact and are now mining the meteoroid for their own purposes, using dispensed primal energy from a PRIMAL REVERSION KYOGRE.

However, in the process of warping the meteoroid, the League and Team Rocket discover the mineral vein is a part of a large chunk of what is discovered to be TERASTAL CRYSTALS much to the dismay of DRK TRIAD ASSASSIN, NISA HOLO. The primal energy fired at the meteoroid can not warp this new mineral, and the energy ricochets back. It strikes the PRIMAL POINTS all over Hoenn, causing a chaotic sequence of planeshifting. In the process, Pokemon, structures and more are displaced into Hoenn. Rifts to other worlds are also created on each primal point.

Littleroot uncovers an underground kingdom, displaced into Hoenn or perhaps, one that existed in the past brought back to life with DIALGA's intervention. ZEV HARCOURT, PRIAM CONRAD, BRYAN DELAROSA, & LEVY ALINSKY manage to teleport there with the help of a chunk of PRIMAL CRYSTAL.

Mt. Pyre's primal point converts into a rift to what is called THE BORDER, presumably the world between life and death. There, ADRIAN MALCOLM & YVELTAL find that four RUINOUS SPIRITS have had their seals broken.

Throughout the conflict, THE DRK TRIAD reveals that they are working in conjunction with ARCEUS. PALKIA & DIALGA have been worn down into their ORIGIN FORMES, revealed to be a state that is easier to control for THE DRK TRIAD & ARCEUS. However, they are freed.

The TERASTAL CRYSTALS are broken apart by a newly recovered RAYQUAZA. Nursed back to health thanks to the help of EVA MORALES, FREYA MORNINGSTAR, JOHN DOUGLAS SULLIVAN's TAPU LELE, and other League personnel, it manages to break through the tough mineral chunk thanks to the use of its MIKADO ORGAN. In the process, EVA MORALES is chosen as its AVATAR. These TERASTAL CRYSTALS scatter across the region, embedding themselves in the earth...

In the aftermath of the 99943 METENO incident, Hoenn celebrates its survival with a Winter Masquerade hosted by the National Museum of Natural History in collaboration between the League Council and Museum Director Dr. GIDEON GRAVES. Proceeds are donated to rebuilding efforts in LITTLEROOT and MT. PYRE and other locations affected by 99943 METENO.

The PRIMAL RIFTS that were accidentally created by the interaction between PRIMAL POINTS AND THE TERASTAL CHUNK ON 99943 METENO become a public safety concern for the region. Entering these rifts bring trainers and their Pokemon to the ULTRA WILDS and sometimes, what appears to be other dimensions or universes such as THE MECHANICAL KINGDOM and THE BORDER. Here, ULTRA BEASTS and other rare Pokemon can be captured—if the trainers can survive their expeditions.

In early April, for one day and night, both factions clash over the discovery of a SEAL STONE. First discovered by PRIAM CONRAD in the Ultra Deep Sea, this ancient artifact is rumored to act as compasses for this universe's Arceus. During their battle, the INTERDREAM ZONE leaks into the realm. From it, PARADOX POKEMON emerge, disrupting the battlefield due to their unpredictable natures. Ultimately, Team Rocket claims the Seal Stone for their own, while THE LEAGUE discover that ULTRA DEEP SEA is the inside of an entire living being... One they will eventually get to know as ETERNATUS.

In midst the chaos, Councilwoman ELINOR ANDERSON and former Head Ranger ANNALISE HENDERSON are kidnapped by Team Rocket.

Sometime in early May, Admin FERN DELANEY'S PRIMAL SHARD from the MT. PYRE WARFRONT detonates by SKY PILLAR'S BASE. A PRIMAL RIFT remains torn before this consecrated space, leading daring adventurers into what appears to be a colony similar to ULTRA MEGALOPOLIS. In the process, FERN DELANEY becomes avatar of a ✨TAPU-KOKO.

THE S.P.E.C.T.R.A.: TRINIY TRIALS commence, overseen by Underboss ELISABETH FIORELLI. The Trinity Trials seek instead to test the collaborative ability of Rockets aspiring to fight Avatars, placing them in teams of three to see how they fare in a simulated battle against a Legendary.

PENELOPE LIVY & MATIAS SILPH venture toward Mt. Chimney upon the behest of the former's fragmented JADE BEADS. There, they discover a RESURRECTED MOLTRES & CHI-YU fighting against each other. Ultimately, the Councilwoman chooses the Chi-yu, forcing the Moltres to flee. In the process, another VICTINI SOUL WISP is discovered before it is cast out of the volcano.

In early June, sightings of two canid Pokemon that have fled the ailing Galar region begin streaming into League and Rocket Headquarters. These Pokemon are widely believed to be powerful entities, relative unknowns shrouded in twisting, expanding mythologies that obfuscate the nature of their existence. Though, it is possible that their names are known, passed down by the thinnest threads memory: ZACIAN & ZAMAZENTA.

Although they are seemingly taking refuge in Hoenn, what prompts both factions to react with severe urgency is the involvement of two never before seen Pokemon. One sports a large, ritual vessel on its head, while the other wields broken blades tipped in sharp ice. Thanks to gathered intel, such as TEMPEST QUINN's report, both factions identify these Pokemon as horribly powerful forces from The Border: a mountainous purgatory accessible via a primal rift on Mt. Pyre.

Rocket's scientists, such as NAOMI SATO, OSCAR CLAYTON, ANYA FOWL, ALBA EVOVAE and KANAME FUJIHARA, and their experimentation with TERA CRYSTALS, that have grown out of Sootopolis' stone and Scientist LULU FLINT'S studies of DREAM MIST allows for a breakthrough. A machine is built around a large tera crystal, allowing for the SEAL STONE, to be slotted in like a cartridge...

A volcanic MIRAGE ISLAND appears north of MT. CHIMNEY'S mountain range. A cruise ship sends out a distress signal, which is received by the Rangers and one SHALIN NARIYA, for the island's volcanic activity is combined with aggressive Dragon type Pokemon and the volatility of TERASTALLIZATION.

In late August, the A.Q.U.A. Initiative calls for a general meeting in the POKEMON LEAGUE. During the meeting, the League's higher-ups discuss whether to create POWER SPOTS for DYNAMAXING in their conflict with Team Rocket. Furthermore, an operation to retake or weaken Rocket's stronghold on SOOTOPOLIS CITY is planned. The meeting is then interrupted by a sudden eruption of TERA CRYSTALS Everyone falls into a cavern where they encounter a SCARLET BOOK guarded by a WALKING WAKE, both manifestations come to life from the Tera Crystals' power.

Eventually, they are rescued by PAXTON CONCORDAS, GUNNER GRAVES and the rest of League security.

On the same day, Team Rocket's higher-ups gather within THE CAVE OF ORIGIN. There, they discuss the biggest threat to the region and their plans, including THE DRK TRIAD, DEFECTIONS and THE RUINOUS POKEMON that manifest terrible vices. Suddenly, the meeting is interrupted by an eruption of TERA CRYSTALS as well; however, this time a CHIEN-PAO crashes the gathering. Its ulterior motive is to ally itself with one of Rocket's higher-ups to further spread chaos, and in the process bestows JAYDEN CROSS with its powers so that he can become its AVATAR.

In the process, a VIOLET BOOK appears. Upon opening it, the GALARIAN BIRDS seemingly emerge from its pages. Before they soar out of SOOTOPOLIS CITY, the GALARIAN MOLTRES eyes BARNABY FINCH with morbid interest.

In late September, a large search party is sent into ROUTE 119 to search for missing persons, while also attempting to find who or what may be responsible for their disappearances. A BLOOD MOON is forecasted for the night, causing many to believe that the moon will cause the appearance of THE BLOODMOON BEAST: the main suspect. However, as the search discover signs of a SPACE-TIME DISTORTION and a peculiar BLOODMOON URSALUNA, they are ambushed by ZOMBIE-LIKE MEGALOPOLANS and taken into a cavern beneath the swamp.

There, a new threat to the region emerges, including the horrific possibilities of TERA CRYSTALS.

ISAAC MERLO defects from Team Rocket, almost dying in the process by the hands of CILLIAN QUINN. However, he is rescued by a SUICUNE and CELEBI before becoming Avatar of the former.

ODD RIFTS TO THE DISTORTION WORLD begin to appear around the region. Curious souls who enter are eventually shunted out by a mysterious force. Simultaneously, Megalopolan activity is on the rise within the region, as survivors of THE ULTRA BEAST WAR who have not allied themselves with the League or Team Rocket attempt to take matters into their own hands.

In the beginning of the month, the events of RESURFACED TREASURES occurs over the span of a few days. Sprawling Tera Tunnels have shifted Hoenn’s landscape. The resulting tectonic movements have caused a large land formation to sprout along ROUTE 105, just north of DEWFORD TOWN. The hoenn League and Team Rocket have set their eyes on this new island, eager to claim it for their own due to an odd energy output emanating from deep inside...

REGICE RUINS are discovered by the League and Team Rocket. By the conflict's end, the League procures a SEAL STONE, while ADMIN HOWARD SLAYTE is able to capture a fragment of REGICE which reconstructs itself. Another titan awakes in the land.

The leaking of INTERDREAM MIST begins to affect THE DREAMS OF THE POPULACE. The dreams are more vivid. They all feel real, with people having more control over them, and each detail of the dream doesn't get forgotten upon waking up...

Letters from "Father Winter the 2nd" are distributed before the holiday season.

⭐DECEMBER

Throughout several cold nights in December, "Father Winter the 2nd", a member of THE DRK TRIAD, grants those who have written letters to him, the chance to "alter the timeline". THe experience sends trainers to various points in their timeline to create temporal branches. As various alternate timelines are explored, the HEXENZIRKEL, an upper echelon of THE DRK TRIAD, observes with the assistance of a captured DIALGA.

INQUISITIVE MINDS continue to investigate the rifts into ULTRA DEEP SEA, LESSER MEGALOPOLIS. Displaced Pokemon, remnants of Megalopolan spacecraft and civilization, and meddling from THE DRK TRIAD are uncovered alongside MYSTERIOUS ORE that seems to be able to repair dimensional cracks.
