Eltanin breaths heavily through his snout, eyes sharp as he glides alongside the lanterns. He doesn’t look very happy to be here. Personally, the battle-scarred dragon would prefer to be doing something a little more… more. But he’d been sent out here on a mission and he was anything but serious, so he quietly brooded as he flew with the group, keeping his attention on the lanterns with a stony diligence.

When the flock reaches the desired location, Eltanin swoops towards where a small bunch of the floating light had drifted away on a light breeze, herding them back towards the bulk before they could collide into a tree.

If the sneakily released huff of annoyance, breath smoking from a withheld frustrated flamethrower, is spotted he doesn’t acknowledge it.

A low annoyed growl escaped the creature’s throat as she soared high above the floating lights, weaving in and out of sight through the thin clouds above them. She glided with easy, shifting her wings to lower her altitude closer to the objects. It was clear that the creature didn’t like the task her trainer gave her, but obeyed his orders reguardless. She snorted, spotting a few of them escaping the flock. With a simply thrust of her wings, she closed in on them in no time. But just as she was about to obliterate them with a flamethrower, her trainers world echoed through her mind.

“Don’t destroy them.”

She growled again. Stupid humans and their stupid words and their stupid things and their stupid ways. The blue dragon gingerly thrusted her wings towards the group of lights, summoning up a small gust of wind in hopes to push them back with the rest. She left her breath, hoping she wasn’t to harsh. The lanterns shifted directions, floating towards the rest of them. She rolled her eyes, gaining altitude once more to guard them from up above from wild pokemon and guild any more that might try to escape the rest.

Noggy was excited for the new work. She hasn't seen much action since the war as while task and such were fun enough as some of them required a challenge to get through most of what her trainer has been doing was more violent. So dull and basic, any pokemon could do that. Well not all pokemon were cut out for it, Noggy just wasnt a fan, and while thr island was fun to fly around it was nice to have new scenery.

The firey lanturns that decorated the skies as she flew through the night skies are more than a pretty sure. One after another she got to watch in awe as other humans lifted some new lanturns into the sky. Oh it was all so exciting! Though she was so excited about it she almoat forgot she was here on a job. So when aome lanterns were atarting to land on thw ground and trees she almost panicked.

Oh no oh no! So with a FAIRY WIND the sparkling wind brought most the lanterns she was following up again but a few ahe would have to get manually. Okay she could pay attention.

A metallic raven coat helped the Corviknight blend into the night sky, glimpses only caught when the light of the lanterns would reflect on her armor. She wasn't grumbling like the Salamances nor excited like the Togetic. Instead, she was neutral. It wasn't a particularly thrilling job but she had been given a quest, a mission. Corviknight was not one to fail tasks given to her: no matter how mundane, she acted professionally and saw the job through until the very end.

Corviknight intercepted any lantern caught in rogue currents, herding them away from trees and buildings alike. Sharp eyes paid close attention to her current lieges. The humans oh'ing and ah'ing from the ground were of no importance to her. Despite the jubilant cheers and celebration, Corviknight remained stern and focused. It was as if they weren't even there.

So, masked by the dark of night, she silently continued to manipulate the stray lanterns down the parade route.

Xyler was having a hard time with this particular task. Yanmegas were known for the incredible power behind their wing-flaps, so Xyler spent most of his time being too scared to herd any stray lanterns. I mean, what if he blew them all away by accident? He'd feel so embarrassed, oh and how loudly his master would yell. He thought it best just to stay in the back and make some subtle noises to alert the nearest herder that some lanterns were getting away.

However, as they approached their location Xyler spotted a cluster of lanterns lagging too far behind. His buzzing alerts did not reach anyone, so the task fell to him. Xyler took a deep breath, steadied himself, and flapped his wings as gently as he could. Unfortunately he was too gentle, no wind was reaching the lanterns. Eventually he was forced to give a single assertive puff, which provided more than enough breeze to move the lanterns along. Xyler winced as he observed their speed, but luckily they rejoined the swarm without incident. Sighing with relief, Xyler sped forward to catch up with his comrades.
