However she has opened up a NEW concert hall within Lilycove city. She operates out of this Concert hall, doing performances and still taking on challenges to improve her skills. MELODY'S UNOFFICIAL GYM IS AN OPEN AIR CONCERT HALL that is located within Lilycove City. The gym is out on the open water and connected to land by a singular glass bridge. The arena itself is pretty much just a concert hall that is able to open it's roof to allow flying Pokémon breathing room and even open the floor to accommodate for Pokémon who thrive in water by revealing the ocean underneath. The gym is massive for it to be able to accommodate any sort of event that is to be hosted there and has PLENTY of seating for people to come and view the battles taking place. [break][break] ♫ SIGN UP PROCESSIDENTIFICATION » Trainers must provide valid identification. Known criminals may provide stolen or doctored identification as long as they remain undiscovered. Obvious liars and violations (regardless of faction) will face in-character repercussions. [break][break] CHALLENGE » Choose between a traditional gym battle or from a list of non-traditional options.[break][break] POKEMON » A list of each Pokemon's ability and moveset must be provided prior to the challenge as the Gym Leader's choice of pokemon will be determined by the list provided.[break][break][break] [break][break][break] All fights will be held on the stage and will be altered to accommodate for whatever Pokémon you sign up for your gym badge.[break][break][break] ♫ EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE GOAL: The goal of Melody's gym is to unify trainers and Pokémon alike. Trainers must show their love and compassion for their Pokémon and their teamwork must be PERFECT on and off the battlefield! People who show this in their battling style and or exhibit this in general with their Pokémon will receive the Rhythm Badge from Melody.[break][break][break] ♫ FORMAT: TRADITIONAL BATTLES[break][break] FOR THE RHYTHM BADGE, Melody offers a traditional format like all other gym leaders. However, her traditional format is flavored with a musical twist, while maintaining the spirit of a traditional, straight battle. TRADITIONAL FORMAT - FEEL THE RHYTHM!: This gym's battles will work a little differently than other gyms. For traditional battles, you will select a format (listed below) of battle you'd like and GENRE of music to play while the battle is going on. The type of genre you select will alter the Pokémon Melody uses! Please select a format for your battle below, whether it be singles or doubles.

♫ NON-TRADITIONAL CHALLENGESIMILAR TO TRADITIONAL FORMATS, Melody also offers some other options for completing her gym without needing to battle! Almost...[break][break] CHALLENGE 1 - BULLET HELL!: This option is much like a traditional battle, but with a twist: the challenger cannot attack. It is a meant to be a test of endurance. For the duration of a song (fluff), Melody's party will launch attacks on your own party. You are either to defend against the attacks and or dodge them until the song ends you CANNOT attack melody's Pokémon or cause damage to them , everything else is free game! You can bring a minimum of 1 mon to a maximum of 6, it is up to you how well you trainer can command them all at once! Melody will also reserve the right to alter her team mid challenge if need be! CHALLENGE 2 - Oh? you're approaching me?: This challenge is an obstacle course with a twist! In this challenge, challengers will need to go through an obstacle course that is themed after the genre the challenger selects. During this obstacle course melody's Pokémon will randomly pop out and attack you along side some booby traps! The goal for this challenge is to see how quickly and effectively you and your Pokémon can work together and communicate so make sure you pick your best bud! The challenge will end once the challenger makes it to the end where he reaches melody's stage and you will fail if you fall victim to the trap 3 times! Challenge 3- Of Myth's and Legends.: After the events of Aqua Initiative meeting and an encounter with someone with strange abilities and Pokémon (BALDER SCHWARTZ and Sea!Melody) Melody has decided to issues a NEW challenge for certain individuals who she finds to be interesting cases. Those who have a Pokémon who are mythical, legendary, shadowed, or event exclusive Pokémon are able to take on a special one on one battle with her. This challenge is more focused on a plot basis and thus will be exempt from the post time limit that is normally imposed on her other challenges, it will have it's own queue that is unlimited. However you MUST discuss with me on discord for this challenge before hand so that it can be plotted out before hand and appropriate consequences and actions can be taken to make it work. (Please note that this may have consequences for your character so make sure to discuss with me before taking this challenge!) ♫ RULESTHE FOLLOWING MOVES are banned from use: destiny bond, perish song.[break][break] Furthermore, if the thread is waiting for a post from the gym challenger for more than a week, then the thread will be at risk of archival.
