As much conscious effort Remiel puts in to try and control it, parts of his newly transformed body can’t help but twitch and shift sporadically, paired beside the familiar sound of stone grating gently against stone. In all his years studying and practicing archaeology, the royal never thought he would become it.

Regardless, the awe dwindles as others begin to step forward and regroup. Most of Rocket had transformed, willingly or otherwise. Seeing Chu-e Choi with the plated breasts of a Nidoqueen was quite something. And oscar clayton had become, well… something resembling a Feebas. He scoffs, and the sound echoes with a ghostly tinge, not unlike a Gengar’s laughter after it’s played a ‘hilarious’ prank.

When his wild and purple Runerigus eye catches sight of a GARDEVOIR mid-Future Sight, Remiel regards the mutant standing closest to her next: Martín del Mar with a Milotic makeover, surrounded by some of the Unown he’d become known for at Rocket HQ. Much of them without help from HATA HIRO or her ‘marvelous’ radar, even.

”You look fabulous, Mars.” He smiles, though it may come across as wicked in his current state.

”What did she foretell?” He asks next, closing the gap between them as his Carnivine follows. ”Whatever the case, we should move forward as a unit.” Around them, small groups begin to form as they proceed forward, each of them choosing one of two paths to take. Remiel points to the one least taken so far (RED PATH) and decidedly nods. ”That one, there.”

Relieved to see he still has access to his belt of luxury balls despite the stone armor, he summons his two Unown (H & X) next before leading the way. ”Any other volunteers?” He says aloud, taking a deep breath as a strange energy blossoms inside of him. With a wave of his arms, this energy releases from his core as a rosy CRAFTY SHIELD that surrounds them like a translucent dome.

”Rhipsalis, scout ahead with your vines. Show us the way. Root out the dangers.” He orders, watching as his Carnivine infests the marsh with its probing vines once more (INFESTATION).

as Kano Iyona stared, lulu was still floating helplessly above. was everything okay? ”no.”

the suggestion to lower down would have been a good one but… and it panicked her a little to realize, ”i can’t…” her feet kicked.

she reached in the wrong direction for Violet Fairbanks ’s hair tie, waving her hand for help and eventually hooking a finger into it. ”thanks,” she muttered. the topmost layer of her hair was gathered and twisted into a knot, revealing the perfect row of eyes that fully encircled her head.

being that she could see literally everything around her, the sights were a lot to take in. she practiced alternating eyes as suggested, attempting to keep her head on straight.

a hand around her ankle went to pull her down, but she continued floating like a balloon at the end of THEO BECKETT ’s grip.

”fuck. i really can’t get down,” she repeated, as the reality fully set in. and then, she caught several angles of @rayne ’s dusknoir approaching in the air. ”no no no no no no. stay away…” and, thanks all to the fear at the very core of her being, lulu learned how to TELEPORT—if only a few meters to the left.

the surprises just kept coming.

soon, they were off. to theo’s question, she answered similarly as she had kano, ”i am most definitely not.”

but, off they went. darkrai seemed to fade into the darkness, this his presence was still there.

Ah, well, in all this madness, she had managed to do something useful. That was admittedly not a whole lot, but it was something, at least. Violet gave a smile and a nod in return while her boss put her hair up, before giving a slightly irked glance to the guy that just decided to more or less manhandle – or was it more balloon-handle? – the woman. No tact, some people. Even in a survival situation like this with quite a few people transfiguring into half-pokemon, a modicum of respect was warranted.

Then she swapped back to her Zarude as she observed the others choosing a path and preparing to go into the dark. Some used their Pokemon for light and such, but she was more interested in the Grimmsnarl on human action taking place. That was worthwhile enough – especially when you had a woman involuntarily floating about. She could apparently teleport now, but Violet, while neither a great scientist nor great trainer, could still tell that relying on an ability acquired seconds ago was kind of foolish.[break]
“Zarude, offer those on our path some vines too, just in case. Best to not get separated in case those things from before come back. Or some other little horrors, because that swamp is nothing if not foreboding in that regard.” The Pokemon would hence at least offer vines to everyone taking the blue, just in case they wanted to not get separated. Vio would certainly take one herself, as she marched onwards.
