The Sneasler, accustomed to the wilds, was not fond of the lab. The smells were odd and overwhelming. The only reassurance it had was the reward Derek said he had if the pokemon behaved while the scientists conducted their tests.

Even so, it flinched when they tried to force it's clawed hand. Even Derek was reluctant to personally handle the pokemon. But after closely observing the other pokemon going about their business, the Sneasler grasped what they'd wanted.

Suffering hazardous chemicals didn't seem to bother it so much. Not until they took some of it's own toxins. While the chemical make-up of dire claw had no effect, it still proved very painful for whatever reason. But they were able to save some, which may be tested on some of the other pokemon currently in the lab...

NEPHTHYS the SCOLIPEDE had been guided through the polished white hallways of the research building by her trainer, Remiel Calcifet . Upon reaching the strange lab, however, she showed some trepidation upon being handed over to a few men and women in hazmat suits.

Though she reared back on both legs defensively, Nephthys was eventually calmed and led past some gates into a bizarre chamber. It was quite large, and didn't look anything like the rest of the building. Its 'floor' was a murky, swamp-like grassland. The walls were covered in vines and strange, almost alien-like, flora.

The Scolipede was given free reign to explore this chamber and partake of its 'food' before too long. Afterwards, her droppings were collected and she was led out to be examined by the rest of the team.

Tentacruel were more often seen bobbing along the surface of the ocean at sunset, or drifting in deep sea currents long past the reach of sunlight with tentacles poised to inject deadly toxins into unaware prey.

It was not often that one would slither into a lab on countless jello-like appendages, dripping sea water onto pristine floors and looking decidedly more pleased than its trainer at its current predicament.

Only after having scared a couple of lab coats with its disposition towards physical affection, and after having received a stern glare from its trainer, did Krakentoa settle into obedience. For the most part.

Containers were prepped for the venom, and Skyler hung back as samples were extracted from the sea creature. Her hand flashed out to slap a tentacle away when it tried to give one of the scientists a hug. Dejected, Krakentoa did the closest approximation to a sigh it could.
