He was still embarrassed.

Face flushing as he waited for the other to answer, the next thing he did was to just… stay as close as possible.

And hopefully not sink beneath the waves because he didn’t know how to tread water, but at least he knew how to dive… so there was that!

well... at least she'd found a pretty pearl earlier. she didn't really need the money, but it was something nice to look at, to remind her of fun times, or whatever this was.

it was almost over. she hung up her hopes that she would find anything interesting down here, but still went to pick the last thing up that she saw before making her way back to the surface.

The pearl was definitely a nice find. At least it was something different for the penultimate dive. All that was left was to take one final plunge into the depths before calling it a day. For as many Pokeballs as she had found, she still had a decent collection of random stuff she found underwater in the end.

Another Pokeball to add to the fold— and by the rapidly dwindling numbers of divers within the nearby vicinity, just enough time to search for another piece of treasure.[break][break]

Truly, the event had gone by in such a blur that he'd found himself losing track of time, time and time again. With just a moment's worth of time to tuck his most recent find away, the Stone began to glance around once more in search for a proper spot to uncover. Before he could do much on his own, however, he found himself making eyes with his beloved serpent once more, roaring within the waters around them whilst careening and spinning beside him in an attempt to grab his attention.[break][break]

With a smile and a soft chuckle beneath his mask, he reached over to take hold of one of the Gyarados' scales, allowing him to whisk him away to their final find of the event.[break][break]

This was the LAST TIME he was doing this. Last time, until next year. Unless he actually took up this diving hobby. He did become a buttered hot god during it, so maybe... maybe should go flaunt to Nico. He can just hear his friends laughing at him for flaunting at his boyfriend. He did not care! He loved Nico!
