And if that was the case, he couldn't help but feel it to be cruel to separate the two of them. After just a small amount of debate, he fished (hah) for another spare Pokeball, lifting it up and tapping it atop the fish's head for safekeeping before setting its capsule aside to join the rest.[break][break]

With a glance towards the horizon, as well as a quick glimpse towards his phone to check the time, he latched a piece of bait onto his fishing hook one last time before sending it out.[break][break]

He had enough time for one final cast; even though he could see the disappearing frill of the Gyarados, the flash of color from... what was possibly the teeniest Milotic he'd ever seen had drawn his eye away. And while it was frankly rather cute, the small serpentine pokemon wouldn't fit in, seeming far too docile, and far too small for him to do anything with beyond possibly send out into the water to bring other water types to the surface.

So they would be allowed to return to the surf. And the final line cast in curious anticipation for what lay waiting.

The kids had fallen asleep, all things considered. The screaming over that Bruxish aside, this had been fairly relaxing. But it was time to pack up and go home. As Josh began packing things, he would send out his lure one more time. He had to consider what he'd keep too...

A HEAVY TUG nearly snaps his line outright. it takes all the strength fernando can must just to hold on. as he’s slowly pulled toward the the water’s edge, he thinks about the movement of his hands before finally tossing the fishing rod into the ocean. in one smooth movement, he grabs a pokeball off his belt, relying on that as his tool of capture instead.

The pretty Goldeen is also quite average. Eva throws it back to let the little fish swim free. That wasn’t going to get her much in the competition, “One more cast and then we’ll call it!” she promises the impatient Tangela after checking the time. It was almost dusk which meant they had to jet back to shore quickly. With a hopeful smile, she casts her rod into the water one last time.
