Funny how the night sky remained so bright when chaos reigned supreme underneath it. She'd not been meaning to settle herself upon her terrace to gaze at the stars, but sleeplessness had taken a hold of her and getting some fresh air had seemed a wonderful idea.

Now the assassin had just made herself comfortable on one of the lounging chairs, a thick blanket draped around her, and her Hydreigon's heads resting upon her lap.

She wondered how many others were staring at the night sky with her. Several made her frown at how disturbingly much they resembled certain pokémon she'd encountered. Like the oddly shaped one in the south, surrounded by three that looked suspiciously much like those three bastard wardens that had chained her and many others up not so long ago.

The Okidogi was one she recognized immediately; that brawny stature would always remain a trigger for the woman's violent vices, she'd learnt. And beside it... the monkey? What was it called again... did it even have a name?

It took a moment to parse, but her subconscious recognized it before she could articulate the words. Pink, floating, fairy... yes, the very deity she predicted had some sort of relationship to the dream realm. The flowers on its island domain could cause sleep, and the fairy had notable psychic prowess. [break][break]

Flipping through a couple of pages, documents that had come from the museum, Yuina glanced to and from the night sky every once in a while as she looked over star charts, constellations, the depictions that were told to be shown from the connections of the universe's history above.[break][break]
"Hmm, these have names, they sound like words... Iceburg? Sky high," Yuina muttered, sounding out some of the categorized constellations. One in particular, reading the 'story' behind it stood out as she glanced back up to the stars.[break][break]
"I think this one is you, TiTr, time travel... And...," Yuina breathed, pointing on the chart to Celebi, and beside it.[break]
"Temporal...," she brushed her fingers over the word, flipping then between star charts, she could swear she saw it again...[break][break]
"It's in this one too I think... Somewhere..."

And if they were all there, save for one, then it made sense that it'd be there as well.

"Where are you, Regieleki...?" Howard muttered as he peered through the telescope. Eventually, he found it. A complete family, despite the fact that it had been sealed away in another world for years, its purpose forgotten by the people of Hoenn. "Ah."

When she caught it, she changed everything. It had changed her future forever. It had turned June from nobody into somebody, and that revelation left an ache in his soul.

"You'll be free from that weight or you'll accept it, one day." She held it, but Regieleki was his. He would reunite it with its siblings if it was the last thing he did, because only five could stand against Eternatus. Five giants. Five fingers.

Eventually, he, june sleigh, and annalise henderson would close the chapter on that giant.

It was a chapter that the latter would not enjoy seeing concluded.

one by one, he starts to cross off from the list of constellations. it brought him a mix of childhood memories from trying to connect the dots to looking for certain objects in a busy page.

he circles the edges of the star charts since those are the easiest to orient himself to. eyes find a particular one at the top, squinting as he tries to derive a shape from the description given.

a long-necked dragon...

he tries his best to keep an open mind, but his head defaults to normal dragons rather than mythical ones he has no idea of. imagination is squeezed from his system just to force it out, knowing that he won't get anything if he sticks to what was conventional.

i guess that's a long-necked dragon, he muses.

Mew. And from the Head Professors to Annalise. A dreg that the League had desperately deployed in an attempt to sway Sootopolis to their side, and ultimately they had done little. The Pokemon League had played much of what remained in deployment, but ultimately it had resulted in nothing but misery and failure.

Howard's enemies were well-equipped and well-trained, but that didn't mean that his ceaseless march would end. It just mean that the mountain had grown taller.

This one resisted completion, its scattered fragments seeming to mock her. When the pattern finally began to emerge, she allowed herself a brief moment of satisfaction—her keen eye had, once again, prevailed.[break][break]

Okidogi and Fezandipiti came into view first. Her gaze lingered on Fezandipiti, her lip curling into a sneer. he looks for easier ones. the more he can assume is right, the faster he can convince himself he did good enough and be the reason he can excuse himself for doing more since he got a lot already.

a small cluster of stars at the middle of the chart takes his attention. the adjusts his telescope a bit to get a clearer picture, trying to fit whatever in it.

in the end, he settles with a disfigured penguin.

it's the best i can do, he tells himself, satisfied with a lackluster image of what can be perceived as a delibird.

Rubbing that night's sleep off her eyes, it seems like slumbering is fruitless as the moon is nowhere to be found, leaving a curious sight to the stars, and the stars alone. Perhaps, she is starting to see things, but looking up from her textbook, she ends up wondering about some kind of myth she heard some kind of where. Was it about Ogerpon? Though, as she muses over the constellations in the sky, there is a distinct wonder. "Looks more silly than threatening ..." Vespa mutters as she observes the sky - groaning the next moment as there is no word to be written in her textbook. Why is homework even a thing?

The sky is beautiful again tonight, beautiful and familiar. Sitting on the porch with a blanket on her shoulders and her laptop's glow cast over her features, Lavinia wonders at the need for either. It's not that cold, and seeing the patterns is simple enough that she could forego the charts. In the end, though, she merely adjusts the blanket. Better safe than sorry, and as for Mossdeep Space Center's database... Astronomy is a science, and science requires precision.

Some might even say it requires coldness, but Lavinia can't help smiling as she looks away from the data and up to the night sky. The cluster of stars she's enlarged on her screen is small, unassuming even, blurring into the much larger figure next to it; yet her eye is keen, and she has no doubt that she's looking at a songstress. She sighs, wishing she were actually at the Space Center. This will have to do, though.

UPDATE FOR THE SECOND ROUND

BELOW IS AN UPDATE OF THE STAR CHART. The constellations that have been solved can be seen with their connecting lines.

Discovered constellations
"★Stm, ★AtFl" - a volcanion bowing to a magearna that it is in service to (though some may believe the volcanion to be dying instead).

"★OrdrD, ★OrdrS" - a zygarde 10% pouncing or converting into a large land snake with a large frill.

"★Wlpr, ★Emtn, ★Knlge" - mesprit and uxie searching for their missing and slumbering azelf.

"★Clsl, ★RcPk, ★IcBg, ★Irn, ★Elctr, ★ClDl" - regirock, regice, registeel, regieleki summoned by their progenitor alongside a crafted claydol.

"★RtnD, ★RtnM, ★RtnB, ★Sbgn, ★Msk" - okidogi, munkidori, fezandipiti heeding commands from pecharunt, their leader, as an ogerpon comes to ambush them.

"★Tmpo" - a long-legged dragon.

"★Sptl, ★NwS" - a mew transforming into a palkia during a time of need.

Another scattering of stars looked bipedal. It seemed to have long arms. Maybe it was nostalgia that had her thinking of Amor, but this looked like Erebus. [break][break]

Perhaps it was a deoxys. [break][break]

She knew they came from space, so it seemed fitting to see its likeness in the stars. The otherworldly-ness of it was daunting, though deoxys was the most approachable of the space pokemon she knew of. It didn't seem necessarily warm or friendly, but it must have been a decent companion. Amor would not have settled. Makoto seemed well-equipped to handle the pokemon, but she hoped it wasn't difficult. They would need its power against Eternatus.

Her eyes flicker across the scene, constellations being set into their rightful places upon her chart as she finishes the touches on those that border the corners. Ogerpon fighting that pecha berry and the three wardens. The original titan surrounded by all but the one that had fought Groudon. The three pixies searching and now reunited. Volcanion standing next to his princess, finally reunited against all odds.[break][break]

These constellations were either things that had happened or had yet to happen. When the pixies had told them about the original gigantic, were they referring to this colossal being all along? The shaper of earth, living mountain that carved continents with its movements. Was it going to appear in this region? And the missing Regidrago... did that mean that he would fail with the stone she had presented?[break][break]

Let's not put too much faith into these readings.[break][break]
