and eventually, giada manages to shove her way into limbo. nice! how low can you go? well, apparently very. yikes. anyway, she's letting out a happy laugh as the line moves forward. and soon, it's her turn.

realistically, she probably makes it about halfway through before she's falling into the sand with a spilled drink and another laugh. man, limbo. she'll feel that tomorrow. sand isn't as cushioning as it looks. she doesn't manage to get a look at whoever helps her up but a grateful grin is flashed toward them anyway.

her phone buzzes idly in her pocket and between steadying herself at the corner of another bar and swiping sand off her bikini and shorts clad body, she'll check it. and maybe she'll even send back a text but it's mostly just gibberish and emojis. sorry marcel!

Today had been going normally for the Rocket scientist all things considered. She was just about to start working on a project and some assistance while not necessary would make things go smoother for her, and it also put some rather unwanted busy work onto someone else and she wouldn’t have to waste her time.

Now she could have asked any other grunt to take care of this for her but she figured that given what she was working on a particular blue boy would probably find it fun and it had been a while since she’d last seen him.

He had given her that sample and then that was that and perhaps he’d be curious to know how it was going. So she would’ve called for him to come by her lab but the boy was MIA.

Now, where could he be? As far as she was aware the boy was not on any job for the organization, she would’ve been able to find that out rather easily.

It wasn’t until by happenstance the woman passed by some people and overheard them speaking about an event that was happening in Slateport that she came to a hunch as to where he was, thought of it made her roll her eyes.

So she made her way to the coastal city and to the beach she went, dressed in casual summer attire as swimwear wouldn’t be needed for one not intending to go in the water. And Eva was quickly reminded as to why she didn’t like events like this, the fucking crowds.

It made finding people a pain in the ass but luckily the boy she was looking for had a distinct feature that made him stick out.

She was on a mission so anyone or anything else there was little consequence and note to her and after spending more time than she liked she finally found who she was looking for.

”Here’s where you are.” She said leering at priam conrad . It was fine to have been here enjoying one’s time at this event but it was another for someone of his age to be around this, with obviously little to no supervision. 

No one clearly was helping to make this not a mess and honestly, that didn’t bother her but she expected more from marcel maeda to keep Priam under control.

”Explain.” Eva turned her attention to Marcel, staring daggers at him.

[attr="class","illie i"]she'd been happily munching on whatever food she managed to get out of Kaida Adachi for the better part of their time together. slowly easing away from fuzziness and back into a sharper focus. at least, that had been the plan until another drink somehow ended up in her hand. something about "here, hold this!" and the retreating form of someone heading to the next game. she didn't complain. instead, she merely shrugged and sipped.

kaida's finger taps so much on illeana's shoulder that she's letting out a little squeak of surprise. "what?" is mumbled out around a straw and the last bite of her food. there's a look of confusion written into her features, as if she had been somewhere else during their short walk away from the food stalls. her eyes slowly follow to what kaida is asking about and a soft gasp escapes. limbo! she'd seen it once, maybe on tv or in a book or something. the exact place escapes her but she remembers it looking fun and it does!

the faith she has in herself to not make an ass out of herself in that game, however, prevents her from joining in on the fun. she'll linger by the sidelines instead, happily cheering as her friend takes on the challenge. fuck yeah, go kaida go! the drink is gone by the time kaida returns but the warm smile isn't.
