it's only after she moves away that marcel takes his first step forward. "starving," he answers, gaze lingering on the doughnut, "but, uh, i really shouldn't." the pokeathlon had changed him.

a punch is thrown, a PROTECT shatters. marcel mutters a fuck under his breath. his sylveon winds a ribbon around the man's ankle, forcing him to buckle at the knee as she DRAINS the energy from him. marcel takes advantage of the moment to get behind the counter and grab the cash register.

"none of that crap, or she's gonna put a bullet through you," he says as he holds his phone against the till. his rotom forces the machine open. empty.
