The third day of chaos, where everyone was growing tired. Megalopolans seemed like they were now going all-in on their assault. Not only were the pink dragons he had seen in Ultra Space now showing their ugly faces, the blue cannibals had mind controlled the local fauna, sending multiple Shiftrys and Furfroos on them. [break][break]

Thus, Balder decided to stand on the front line once more. Not by the League's orders (He ain't listening to them anymore), but for the safety of the Hoennians. And hopefully, to find his long lost ally. As he arrived on the scene, Balder saw multiple faces that he recognized, heading in multiple directions.[break][break]

While Bailey, using a power of some sort, drove her bike on the hill and Kyle rushed the building, the alolan man noticed @remiel and the Barfing Guy ( Adrian Malcolm ) from the beach heading left. The better option was to tag with them for now and provide more firepower. Thus, the Ex-Gym Leader ran behind the two, grabbing two pokeballs from his belt.[break][break]

Arriving beside Remiel, who was heading for the forest for some reason, Balder threw both pokeballs in the air, calling his Galarian Ponyta and his Camerupt. "Keep moving Remiel, I'll try to make us break through." The Camerupt stampeded on the ground before roaring, unleashing a massive Lava Plume from the volcanoes on his back, to damage the Shiftrys before them. The Galarian Ponyta proceeded to prepare itself for battle, extending her Pastel Veil to assist the fighters on the left side while buffing herself with Agility.[break]

The last thing any kid could expect is a war. Yet, here they were three days in. The young Blackadder had never taken his League affiliation tooseriously, much as he did with any real authority, but war was war. He had hoped to avoid any serious action, but he recalled hearing about a law somewhere that a plan never survived contact with the enemy... or something. Terrible law.

Unlike the rest of the heroes fools with him, Andy kept to the cover of the treeline. His yanmega provided him with some mobility, while his gengar shadowed him as usual. The naganadels swooping overhead were an issue, and one a handful of other trainers were dealing with. With those bastards in the air, he would never he capable of really flying with Ravana.

''These shits have got to go,'' he muttered to the bug pokemon beside him, and the incorporeal ghost beneath. His brown eyes peered up through the canopy until they set upon an unaccosted naganadel. His brow furrowed. ''Come on, Epitaph.'' The gengar materialized behind him as he thrust a bony finger upwards.

''Slap that ass needle out of sky, guys,'' he whispered. His pokemon glanced at each other. ''Gengar,'' it questioned, his grin widening. ''Yan, Yanmega,'' Ravana buzzed in response. Gengar faded into her shadow. With a hum, it flutter up through the branches, flying and lighting along the trunk until she was somewhat higher, though still within the leave's shade.

Insectoid eyes set upon the closest fiend, she lashed out with Hypnosis as gengar slid into existence on a branch beneath her, to contribute with Dream Eater to further end the nagandel's interrupted flight. Both descended to their pleased master at the base of the trunk, gengar's eyes peering from underneath the bug pokemon.

''Hot shit,'' he praised. However, Andy was still looking to avoid attention. ''Let's move before we get a plate of retaliation,'' he suggested, slapping Ravana's leg. ''Yanmega.'' Fluttering up slightly, her legs clasped the back of the boy's shirt, and the two quickly hovered across the forest floor in search of another tree to hide under, Epitaph shadowing them the entire way.

Even though it's been only three days in since the start of this war Razz felt like he was getting back in the grove of things. Old experience kicking in despite his time of being a hermit, which during a time of war was definitely best. Though this time he was fighting for a much better cause, reinforcements might have been late following all these Ultra Beast to come but he'd be damned if he was going to stand back and let them take over. With mask on, and equipment on hand Razz was quick to conciser his options. While the large objective was to get the equipment over to the city there was enough of a group going to the cliff so the Ranger figured he'd follow Remiel as he lead a group toward the Ultra Beast to their left.[break][break]

"Wyn do what you can to protect those going through," he ordered his Gallade who was running along side him, the bladed pokemon nodding as with a blue flash in his eyes and a wave of his arm the Gallade used WIDE GUARD, created a shield to guard his allies from above from the on coming Poison and Dragon Breath coming down from the poison Ultra Beast. Razz and Wyn stay put as the Galarian ambassador lead the group toward the forest to which he could only guess was to gain some coverage from Guzzlord or flank it. [break][break]

With the shield now up to provide cover Razz finally released Shamrock from his pokeball, once Razz whistled giving the dragon pokemon all he needed as their body shined with a yellow glow as it spun and slammed his tail into the ground to create cracks of golden energy for the land below the enemy to explode the ground upward with the use of EARTH POWER on a Naganadel that dared got to close to the ground. [break][break]

SETTING: LATE SEPTEMBER

THIRD DAY OF THE WAR

THE TRUCK

ATTACKS SOAR ACROSS ROUTE 110. As Pokemon clash with each other, earth is erected and upheaved. After kyle lopez clears the Cycling Road’s building, circe crowley, Katherine Fairburne, and Lulu Flint follow swiftly after. Others like Rex Drago, Cillian Quinn, Samuel Boothe, and marcel maeda take other methods to reach the higher ground.[break][break][break]

The cliff is torn asunder by the EARTHQUAKE, collapsing the edge. Forces are alerted to the rumbling. As DRAGON PULSES accompany THUNDERBOLTS against shrieking Megalopolans; however, in the resulting violence, several sustain minor injuries: kyle lopez, circe crowley, Katherine Fairburne, Lulu Flint, Bailey Cooper and Moana Reyes. Poison burns skin and clothing, but the pain soon subsides thanks to everyone’s defensive screens.[break][break][break]

An ICY WIND from Gym Leader, Katherine Fairburne’s Sableye combats the fire from above, slowing a sweep of Megalopolan Pokemon. Furthermore, Elite Four, kyle lopez’s Manectric surges with power, siphoning a stun baton's electricity to summon THUNDER to stave off the aerial attacks.[break][break][break]

A dramatic light consumes the Champion’s Steelix as it MEGA EVOLVES. Megalopolan bodies are hurled from the already compromised ledge as a GYRO BALL collides with their stunned (Kaine Ikari) bodies. Below, Moana Reyes’s Pineco PROTECTS its owner against the stinger of a Naganadel before it is blown away by a ROCK BLAST.[break][break][break]

Lucas Lane’s Machamp lunges for the car door. As it tears it off with a scream of metal, the Head Scientist finds that he points his gun at no one. The driver’s seat is empty, albeit bloodied. No keys. cait alfric aids in the securing of the vehicle as she arrives with her Pokemon. [break][break][break]

Should Lucas Lane look inside the vehicle, he would find that the back of the vehicle is filled with the aforementioned supplies. Crates of what may be food, empty Pokeballs, and other war provisions.[break][break][break]

marcel maeda and dominic sinclair arrive in a HAZE, neutralizing the field of empowered attacks— while Cillian Quinn and Samuel Boothe clobber an approaching battalion with ICE BEAMS and ROCK SLIDES.[break][break][break]

WITHIN THE WOODS

AS GALARIAN TROOPS RUSH FORTH under the Galarian Ambassador, Remiel Calcifet’s, command, several shift into the woods. Andy Blackadder’s Gengar sends a Naganadel and its rider to sleep, causing the draconid to plummet into the brush. Remiel Calcifet and Balder Schwartz are ahead of him, a PASTEL VEIL emanating from the Galarian Ponyta. Nearby, Adrian Malcolm’s Alakazam attempts to FUTURE SIGHT:[break][break][break]

With the view into the woods, dominic sinclair’s Shadow Luxray can see the anatomy of SMALL HUMANOID FIGURES, LIKE ORIGAMI PEOPLE. There is an overwhelming amount like a swarm of wasps, hiding in the trees. He would be forewarned of their presence thanks to the Luxray’s X-RAY VISION.[break][break][break]

GUZZLORD’S PATH

THE GARGANTUAN BEHEMOTH BELCHES, spilling pools of poison. When gigi bae’s Porygon attempts to tank it, the Pokemon is immediately smothered in toxin. The Pokemon FAINTS despite its CONVERSION and fidgets, twitching about as if in the throes of death. It requires IMMEDIATE ATTENTION or it will succumb to this otherworldly poison.[break][break][break]

Raziel Beckett’s WIDE GUARD helps assist gigi bae’s Venusaur defense. EARTH POWER strikes a soaring Naganadel as Megalopolans in the path are scorched by Balder Schwartz’s Camerupt. The Elite Four, Thomas Benoit, attacks too, providing ample strength. His Scizor and Hydreigon make swift work of the pawns, but they freeze. [break][break][break]

Everyone freezes.[break][break][break]

The Guzzlord roars. The scream is deafening. Dark energy pulses out from its gut as a SHADOW SHED spreads like a wave across the battlefield. The other Guzzlord roars too in the distance. All SCREENS and SAFEGUARDS suddenly dissipate, their energies turning into shadowy dust.[break][break][break]

As the dark particulate fades, the Guzzlord roars once more. Seeing a group ahead, the Guzzlord charges forth, claws lunging for any enemy to consume. It tramples Megalopolans burning in the LAVA PLUME as it intends to DRAGON RUSH into the group ahead.[break][break][break]

KARTANA CONFLICT

From the wood, Megalopolans leap from the trees. A swarm of Kartana rush forth. The first wave rushes forth to slice the group in the woods (Remiel Calcifet Balder Schwartz Adrian Malcolm Andy Blackadder) in one swing.[break][break][break]

However, they do not linger. Instead, they move eastward, hoping to pincer those on the road (Raziel Beckett gigi bae Moana Reyes Thomas Benoit) against the Guzzlord, before sweeping toward those on the higher ground. They will end, attacking those stationed around the vehicle (Lulu Flint Katherine Fairburne circe crowley kyle lopez Lucas Lane Bailey Cooper cait alfric Rex Drago Kaine Ikari dominic sinclair marcel maeda Samuel Boothe Cillian Quinn).[break][break][break]

A second wave of Kartana cut several trees cleanly, toppling the massive trees toward the distracted group in the woods. These ones linger with their Megalopolan partners, attempting to cut into them ruthlessly.[break][break][break]

As the trio skirted across the forest floor, the trees themselves seemed to flex and explode in a torrent of colorful slicing. If he could have processed it all quickly enough, Andy would have kicked himself for not noticing such an infestation of garish paper pokemon among the natural tones of the woods. But there was much happening at once. Such was the nature of war, as perhaps he would come to know.

''Yanmega!'' Perhaps the most skilled of samurai could slice a fly from the air in a display of raw talent, though it appeared these Megalopolans intended to fight through sheer attrition, brute force. The ogre darner pokemon flitted and weaved erratically, using her speed boost and insectoid eyes to try to outrun the origami aim of their attackers.

''Ravana!,'' at first her young master didn't know exactly what was happening, just that the trees started to fall all around them and his yanmega was flying all over the place, and faster and faster at that. ''Ravana! RavanAHHH!'' The three weaved under a trunk that was plowing through the branches of the canopy just in time, though so many others just kept falling.

It seemed as if a shroud of branches would collapse upon them all it once. Andy fished a pokeball from his shorts and blasted it out ahead of them. Out of all of his pokemon, he found his sharpedo the most intimidating. Unlike the rest of his menagerie, and perhaps others of his kind, his sharpedo wasn't vocal at all. It was a silent and violent destroyer, and that unnerved him.

Forest was a hell of a place for it, but it was what it was.

''CRUNCH! CRUNCH! CRUNCH!'' He yelped at the shark, of course its gaping maw was typically open by default, always hungry. If the creature could rend though supertankers in the ocean, a brief vegan diet should have been little issue. Its menacing maw crunched through the cage of flora falling to entrap them, its rough skin promising a little taste of their own medicine to any who struck it.

As the catastrophe of forestry came to an end, they rested in the smallest of clearings along the debris. The sharpedo glowered with bits of wood and leaves tumbling from his teeth. It was an unsatisfying meal. Yanmega let her passenger loose in the splinter covered grass as gengar formed from beneath him to grasp at the boy's shoulder with some visible concern.

''Gengar?'' Andy righted himself before brushing himself off shakily. ''I'm … alright. Just can't believe I didn't shit myself.'' The ghost pokemon upturned his trademark grin before charging up a shadow ball to sling into the nearest kartana. Though the lot seems to be mostly moving away from them.

At first he didn't get it, but a part of him foolishly hoped it was because they were intimidated.

And now that he was here, he really wished he didn't bother. No pain to him nor One, but the attacks that ripped up the cliffside and ground around the supply truck showed this was no easy job...God, did he wish he at least asked for them to pay him after this... [break][break]

One circled the area briefly, allowing Rex just enough time to shriek in surprise, "Gav!?" In the chaos of the battlefield, his voice was torn away by a scream, a scream that did not help any as the Light Screen poofed away. "Shit! One you-" His order cut off, eyes suddenly locked on the impossible soldiers that started fluttering in, paper warriors, "To Gav, go, go!" He was not seeing how those things could kill him today! [break][break]

The fossil dived down in a vicious Take Down, all limbs bashing as it screamed through the air and came down near Cillian Quinn and co. Finally near familiar faces, Rex breathed out a sigh of relief and threw down his remaining Pokeballs. Two entered the bloodied field with a screech, more than happy as One crushed a shrieking alien with deadly talons...she was more than a little disappointed when Rex yelled "Protect" though. A newbie of the team, a Haxorus, huddled with them under the Protect and, spotting the attacks being thrown, swung her tail in an Assurance, aiming to help with an attack that would harm the injured more than the healthy ones. Four closed her eyes, creating a Calm Mind, just in case her attacks were needed. [break][break]

And from his perch atop One, Rex waved frantically at the team of Cillian Quinn , marcel maeda , and dominic sinclair . Look, look! Wasn't he doing good here? [break][break]
