IN OCTOBER — the aftermath of the war is spent rejuvenating the region. pokemon and trainers are hard at work, repairing natural landscapes, while clearing fields and mountains of macabre remnants. still, pools of poison remain where naganadel and poipole have fallen... until they are cleaned, poor unsuspecting wildlife may find themselves within these toxic traps, forcing them to become aggressive and hostile.[break][break][break]

you should never suck the poison out of a snakebite; however, for these poisoned bulbasaur in the field, it might just work! a local bulbasaur rancher has requested the help of pokemon who are able to suck the poison right out.[break][break][break]

After practicing for the contest with his Comfey repeatedly, the Pokemon seems more than capable of landing a well poised DRAINING KISS. Without remorse, the Comfey goes from Bulbasaur to Bulbasaur, landing a big, slobbery Spiral smooch to their Shiv bulb.

In hindsight, Fernando wish he didn't watch all the way through. It doesn't disgust him per se, but something about it unnerves him. Must be the love and affection shown.

The squid to Katherine’s right seemed to cringe in disgust at the scent of the vile toxins in the air, somehow, the Malamar managed to recognize it and assess the situation without plenty of feedback from her trainer.

It did, however, still require her help with an actual order. As far as it was concerned, this job could have easily been to dispose of the Bulbasaurs rather than cure them.

”Just, you know— suck it out, I guess. As long as you’re careful, this should be fine.” The psychic-type responds with a roll of her eyes before proceeding to do exactly as instructed.

They continue to cringe all while curing the grass-types.

Bulbasaur were absolutely cute and precious pokemon. There was no denying that. Their little dino feet and their cute little grins, they were absolutely precious. She knew they were already a poison type pokemon, but that didn't mean their body would be able to handle the foreign poisons as well as the ones they make themselves.

With a smile, Ruby sent out her Eldegoss named Sweetie. The little cotton ball of a Pokemon floating up to land atop Ruby's head as she spoke. "Come on Sweetie, GIGA DRAIN. Let's get rid of the poison, huh? Don't be afraid, we can get you patched up if anything goes wrong."

Obviously a bit hesitant, they still followed their orders. A massive spiral of energy was suddenly ripped from the Bulbasaur, attempting to suck the poison straight out of them and onto the ground. Was definitely worth a shot, in any case.

The ranger cant help but ponder if doing this will actually help but Bulbasaur, or if they did it there being a vhance to hurt the pokemon who was absorbing it. Though he was willing to give it a shot if it meant he could help out. Doing what he could to hold a Bulbasaur down that way t couldnt attack back as his Phantump used HORN LEECH to suck out the poison. "You feel alright?" he asked the ghost to ensure it wasnt hurting him to absorb the poison.

With a polite nod the pokemon informed his trainer he would be fine and more than happy to continue, great one down. Many more to go though.

Josh had always had a soft spot for the Bulbasaur line, having a Venusaur of his own. So he hadn't hesitated to get out there and try to get the poison out of those effected. "Mega Drain!" he called to his Gloom, who quickly attempted to use it to suck out the poison and regulate the status of the Bulbasaur.

As they finished, Josh wiped his brow. It had been a lot of work to help fix things after the war. He was looking forward to heading home and getting a good night's sleep with his wife and kids, and awaiting the next...

Well, that thought didn't get a chance to stay long as something fell out of the sky -- something purple

-- and it clocked him clean in the head.

poison types were immune to being poisoned. however, as gigi learned during the war, ultra beasts possessed a more potent toxin. the image of her porygon seizing despite converting its data to match that of a poison types.. gigi would never forget that. it was burned into her mind. so, she was more than happy to help relieve the poor bulbasaurs from the excess levels of acidity.

like a kind nurse distracting a young child who needed a shot, terabyte the venusaur gently soothed the young bulbasaurs. as the young pokemon relaxed, crobat stealthily hovered over their swollen bulbs. thankfully the bulbasaur didn't notice nor feel the shiny bat extract as much excess poison as it could via leech life. paranoid, gigi continuously reminded the crobat to stop if any symptoms manifested.

Stormy kneels next to a weakened Bulbasaur, gesturing for her Pokemon to come near. Her Gloom takes position calmly and slowly, stepping in close so that it might reach the source of the poison. It begins to ABSORB it, pulling the toxin away from the Pokemon and removing it entirely. Perhaps, due to its poison-typing, it remains unaffected by such acts.[break][break]

Whatever the case is, it is a blessing. Together with a crew of rangers and volunteers, the Bulbasaur farmers field is full of healthy, happy Pokemon. They manage to clean up the poison spills as well, clearing away deceased Nagandel and Poipole bodies in the process. What had been a horror to them all had soon become grounds for working together. They would overcome this devastation, just as these Bulbasaur had survived this poisoning.[break][break]
