Ah, cats.

Vincent couldn't claim any strong opinions about cats. They were, in his eyes, absolutely neutral beings. Neither bad or good. Better than dogs, though that wasn't a high bar to clear. Although, his opinion wasn't the one that mattered here, was it? While his opinions trended towards lukewarm, the faceless mass of internet goons he had to appease had much greater opinions on the beasts. Well, if nothing else, picking up a team mascot wouldn't hurt.

So, the businessman would set to work trying to wrangle these cats into his employ. A process that would inevitably see him smothered by cat hair and covered in scratches. It was a day that would end in a much more dour mood than it started in. But, he was driven forward nonetheless, the hunger for relevancy overcoming any moderate pains of discomforts he might feel in his quest.

That didn't stop it from being miserable, though.

it bit her. she picked the cat up... and it bit her... she wasn't really surprised but at the same time she was. after all, most cat pokemon didn't bite you. they clawed you for sure. so now she held it at arms length while she fumbled to get a pokeball. paws swinging wildly at her as it struggled to get away. why had she picked it up? why? because of course. it was a cat.

Spending some time in Petalburg, Derek couldn't help but pick up on word of a Purugly swarm including Glameow that had made it's way into town. Their cleverness, pettiness and spite made them difficult to deal with, and some civilians had already complained about their presence. Being that he was a ranger, the trainee quickly made way for their last known location. Attempting to capture one and perhaps go from there, the others were quick to cast a look when they noticed his pokeball. Best leave it to others.

Being surrounded by Glameow and Purugly is not what Mars had expected when visiting POG Bank’s Petalburg City branch, but when has Mars ever minded a bunch of cute cats?

Well, actually, he does mind, because they should have been Meowth and Persian instead.

If there was a pink pokemon, Ely was there. Word got out about a group of felines in petalburg. A few of them pink. The pinked coordinator couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get her hands on one. She quickly traveled to the city, making her way to find the pretty felines. And when spotted, the young lady didn’t even bother trying to make friends she. She launches the two toned ball, her aim was for one of the pink furred creatures. She giggled, hoping her aim was true.

Well, these were some very graceful-looking felines. Cardamom sat to watch them for a bit, Red Velvet sitting on his lap. After a bit, though, the Zorua seemed dissatisfied with just watching. She hopped off the boy's lap, doing a backflip as she did so and taking on the form of a tiny Glameow herself. Imitating a purr, she prowled slowly towards them, wriggling in an attempt to mimic their movements. Cardamom chuckled, but let her approach. He wanted to see where this was going.[break]

During a short patrol around Petalburg, just kind of checking in on things after the slew of incidents as of late, a potted plant nearly collided with the Ranger’s head as it crashed into the ground from above. A window above had played host to a naughty cat’s handiwork, and poor Mitch the Plant had suffered for it.

Josh would squint as he stared up at the annoying cat. Not wanting to start throwing moves around and risk causing damage in the city, he decided to just pull out a Pokeball. At the least, he would scare the thing off.
