[attr="class","jayden"] the stench of HONEY is sickly sweet in the air as the beehive of combee and vespiquen gather around it, and the blossoming crystalblooms. it is not the first time that jayden finds himself in the presence of such absolute teamwork, and yet he cannot help but be enthralled by them all the same.

[break][break] he watches as his zorua and eevee sniff curiously at the blooming flowers, getting their snouts full of that powdery nectar.

The swarm at route 113 had been brought to Tianyu's attention by absently scrolling through his news feed for the afternoon, the headline catching his interest at the thought of the multitudes of honey ripe for the harvest. Telling his secretary he was off for the afternoon, the Chairman is flown and then driven to the appropriate location.

Stepping from his car, an umbrella already opened and offered, Tianyu shields himself from the sun's rays. He slips a basket onto one arm, filled with jars and gloves to ensure his hands remain pristine during his work, and releases a Pansear from its brilliant red Cherish ball.

"Keep them at bay," Tianyu directs the monkey, his hand absently lifting to pat the top of the pokemon's head before moving on to his self-appointed task. Slipping on the gloves and opening the jars to fill, the Chairman glances occasionally over his shoulder to check on the Pansear, who does an admirable job of of keeping the Vespiquens at bay with with Flame Bursts.

Fresh is always best.

Though arguably a poor idea, Derek allowed his pokemon to antagonize the bees in order to get a reaction. Either to drive them in the opposite direction of society, or to split them up. While it seemed like it may be working at first, his pokemon soon paid the price...

To try and save them from the painful stings, Derek lobs a pokeball at the group of bees, with a lot of the others doing the same.

bees. why did it have to be bees? and why did they have to hoard all the honey to themselves the selfish bastards. it made kazimir furious as he watched them buzz about, it made his battling fingers twitch. "ah to heck with it. its worth a few stings." he mumbled to himself as he threw out a few pokeballs to let out his pokemon to cause a distraction as he ran forward towards a tree slathered in honey to get a taste for himself. however a swarm of the wretched creatures got in his way and all he had was a single ball, so readying his arm he tossed it, do or die time, anything for that sweet delicious golden nectar.

the crystablooms were out of hand, and they were starting to see the effects to the ecosystem, with things like swarms of bugs.

on his way back from visiting willow atkins and Roman Maher , bo was delayed outside of fallarbor town by one such incident. finishing off a peanut butter and HONEY sandwich, he licked a couple of fingers and then reached for a pokeball.

”push ‘em back towards the field!”

fearow cawed and flew along the edge of the swarm, encouraging vespiqueens and combees away from the neighborhood and back to nature.

As the day came to an end, the VESPIQUEN SWARM hurried to find their new home before the HONEY-COLOURED SUNSET gave way to the cold chill of night. Unfortunately, a portion of the swarm had set their sights on a small residential area nearby.

As an ambassador and friend to the region of Hoenn (at least, on the face of things), this was not something Remiel Calcifet could abide. So he sent out TELL, his SHINY DECIDUEYE, and commanded it to shoot down the bees one-by-one. Even the QUEEN would be no exception, should they come across her.

Cyg had seen the YouTube videos with people walking around covered in bees. Swarming bees are harmless, they said; and then, in the same breath, people would talk about how if they released more than one queen into a colony all but one of them would be brutally murdered.

Yeah, bees were fucking metal.

So Cyg stayed well back of them as she hid behind her small army of half-evolved Fire-types, launching a Pokeball from a distance; should the swarm swing her way, she’d be well protected.

She hoped.
