Grumbling as he tossed and turned, Adrian prepared to sleep before realizing he'd forgotten to log into B&B these past few days. Ah, crap...

Pulling on his VR gear, rolling out of bed only to get a few daily bonuses, he quickly brought his avatar before the sword-in-the-stone. Honedge peered at him as one might a routed enemy come crawling back: 'Haven't you had enough?' Its eyes said.

Rolling his eyes, he was done treating this like some ceremonious event, rudely grasping at the Honedge's pommel and pulling away with his clammy hands clasped around its hilt. Worth!

the mage arrives at the scene with the most energetic, if not obnoxious, laugh. he saunters in, positions himself right in front of the sword, and yells at the inanimate object to assert his dominance.

"dying is for losers!"

his hand wraps around the hilt, and so does the ribbon around it on his arm. priam tries to pluck the sword out from where it is stuck in and promptly dies from attempting to do so.

he comes back after he has died. "tenth time's the charm," he mumbles, still knowing that the likelihood of him pulling the sword out of the stone is near zero. trying's free though, so he'll try this until he gets tired.

kyle walks up to the sword and stares at it. multiple players have also tried and failed the rng roll, and he's about to do it twice in a row. his hand holds the hilt of the sword, watching the ribbon wrap around his arm.

"here goes," he mutters to himself, hyping him up before he readies himself to reappear at the spawn.

his hand grips the handle of the sword before he attempts to pull it out.

Now that he knew what the reward was for getting the blade, kingship, Rikiya had to wonder if the next person to pull the blade would get kingship, or if the souls absorbed had anything to do with the reward. But in any case, the reward of kingship was pretty sweet, and seeing it go to a notorious griefer would piss people off, which is what he lived for. He was going to get a crown by the end of this, he would vow to himself.

As it was his turn, Rikiya attempted to pull the blade from the stone.

How many days did he miss?

Mentally screaming in the back of his head, he then ventured to where there was a new sword stuck in the stone… what the hell? So it was true? Someone had already pulled it out before? Sighing, he wondered if he was going to even get something shiny…

Watching the previous person explode into pixelated death, he squared his shoulders and walked up to the hilt, wondering if he would succeed…

His Sylveon is incredibly unhappy with the amount of time his master is spending on this game. Admittedly, Florian does feel a little silly when he logs into Valora for another attempt at the sword and has to pause for a moment when the cheeky fairy-type nips his calf.[break][break]

Kaida didn't like the idea of a sword in the first place. They were good to appear imposing, but in the more common ways to be attacked, in close-quarters typically in crowded circumstances, Kaida had to assume they were useless. [break][break]

Still, owning something like a "king" was tempting, alongside the fact this was a game, she might get something special out of this. Thus, she placed her hand over the sword hilt, held her breath, and pulled. [break][break]
