the highest roll will earn a shiny pangoro (gender of your choice); the second highest roll will earn a normal pangoro, and the lowest roll will net a pancham.

oh, well... that's a sight. dozens of pandas litter the streets, each one causing chaos in some form. she has to scramble out of the way as a whole ass car goes whizzing past. damn, a pokemon can actually do that? the look on her face is pure terror. and yet, she can't manage to run the other way. in fact, she steps a little closer. are they rampaging on purpose? for shits and gigggles? or did something happen?

one in particular stops to give her a weird look and she squeaks, taking a few rapid steps back. and before she turns to hightail it outta there, she yeets a pokeball at it as if that's gonna stop a massive panda from snapping her in half c:

'Wow, you hate to see it...' As if Slateport hadn't had its fair share of troubles as of late.

An alarming number of Pangoro and Pancham have fanned out through the streets of Slateport, the lower district being entirely at the mercy of these daunting pokemon. As they ransacked the street posts and benches, some tore apart food carts and other stands. Such was the case with the one Adrian found stuffing its face when he'd chanced upon it. Its beady eyes snapped to him as he approached, looking at him with a look of exasperation, as if to say to Adrian...

While he locked eyes with it, proding digits plucked a pokeball from a pocket, arming the device before hurtling it towards the pokemon before more showed up to complicate matters further.

Wild Pokemon do not have the same rights as humans. When they use what little they're given to obstruct the progress of those around them, it's grounds for immediate suppression. Allowing them to roam the streets of Slateport is already an infringement on public order but most turn a blind eye as long as they remain peaceful. Ultimately, everyone wants to coexist. It's up to people like Fernando Silph to stifle those that threaten that status quo.

"Execute."

Fernando favors using humanoid, physical attackers for handling the Pangoro riots. They're still within the city limits which means minimizing destruction is just as important as subduing them. His Blaziken serves as the vanguard, talons raised, clenched tight in an effort to steel itself for the inevitable confrontation.

One of the larger Pangoros comes forward to serve as their representative. A successful riot requires someone to rally behind, a symbol to inspire the others embrace dissident despite their fears and enemies. Their choice turns out to be the right one. The Pangoro raises its fist as thinly veiled threat, fur bristled by a sudden combustion of flames. Their most veteran fighter is familiar with the TM move FIRE PUNCH which dignifies its status as their strongest.

Which makes crushing it that much more potent.

Fernando disperses the crowd and wrangles the stragglers into spare Pokeballs. They'll be moved into a League depository to be used as spare Pokemon for Rangers and League members alike.

Emma is there to protect the public - really. Snapping hydro poles is grounds for criminals to come out and riot alongside the rampaging Pangoro. Or to prey on the people in the middle of this mess with their purses at their sides just waiting to be snatched.[break][break]

Whatever the case was or might turn out to be, Emma commands her Noivern to fly overhead, blasting the beasts into submission and driving them out of the city. There's no reason for them to stay any longer than they have already. All they're doing is threatening innocent lives and breaking shit that the town will have to fix. Likely with taxpayer money.[break][break]

oh good heavens.

those were a lotta pandas. was she supposed to throw some kind of bamboo at them to keep them happy? could she fight them? with her pokemon? nah, not with them. with her fists. bet that she could beat up a bear and bet that she would most definitely lose. not like that would stop her.

Big and bad looking typically countered big and bad easily enough, and Kaida was seeing their results. Behind her, a street of cowering humans and Pokemon took cover in the shade of her Pokemon. [break][break]

Her Pokemon had come pounding towards her as the swarm of Pangoro appeared. Even if it was the territory of another, they understood this was their home, and territory needed to be guarded. So what had been a group consisting of a small woman and her Bouncing Toxicroak had become a gator, dragon, and croc all tearing down any aggressive panda in sight. She smiled as she saw Munin Crunch and send a fellow dark-type flying, Vani's scales creating a triumphant rhythm as she pounded blow after blow, and Jotun letting out a cackling laugh as he twirled, Aqua Tail lashing. [break][break]

This was how she wanted in to be. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why is is called present. What? Even she could put together nice sounding words. This was how she always was, a quick glance behind, and never looking too far, only keeping her eyes on the prey before her. Just trying to stay alive. [break][break]

Maybe one of these Pangoro would sense their feelings in their defeat and come around to them. The pack was always open. [break][break]

on any other day kaz would be ecstatic about running into some pangoros, they were on his top list of favorite pokemon ever and he would gladly throw down with one if it meant he could gain a new partner out of it. however today they had the audacity to try and interrupt him while he was trying to practice some new pro wrestling stuff he had been meaning to work on. well if he wasn't going to use a training dummy today then he would gladly use these fighting bears to practice his moves on. "c'mon ya black 'n white bastards! incinemask's gonna steam roll right over you! aaaaand keep ya nice and snug in one of my pokeballs, so ya better run or fight ya bozos!" the masked kazimir roared out as he ran up to a pangoro that was charging at him and drop kicked it right in the chest.

It would seem the creatures were wiser than many gave them credit for. As they swoop low over a side-street, Gavin spots a group of bears attempting to sneak down a side-street to target a still-standing pole. [break][break]

A day of rest is always good to have. A break from searching for pokemon to add to your rooster, training your own pokemon to challenge a gym, and doing odd jobs for money and other items. In fact, Maverick found himself wondering the lower district of slate port for something to do. Typically, the trainer never took days for himself especially after what happened in his last home town. Warm colored orbs flickered from his houndoom to the hustle and bustle of the lower district, wondering what was going on.

“Did you see that pangoros and the panchum? They are so cute! I’m gunna see if I can win one.”

As expected, the mention of dark types caught the trainer’s attention and he was quick in intestate as he followed the large crowd to see what was going on. In the center of a crowded area, his eyes widen at the sight of a shiny Pangoro, normal pangoro, and a panchum. They stood flexing and doing some kind of fighting attacks, the crowd cheering all the while.

“Come step right up! Draw a number to see if you will win! The highest number gets the shiny, second gets the normal one, and the lowest number gets a cute little panda here. Is Lady Luck on your side tonight?”

Without a moments hesitation, the man pushed and shoved his way to the line. A few minutes later, he was up front with his gaze down at a bowl with number hidden from the eye. The announcer mixed the bowl and offered it too Maverick. Taking a deep breath, he reached into the bowl and gave it to the announcer to see if he won. To be honest, he would just be happy to have one. No offense, but the shiny one was kind of ugly anyway. Not that he won’t take it, but still. Maverick held his breath, warm orbs looked as the announcer called out his number.

her bright yellow eyes shifted back and forth, to all the different things being insane, and it caused her to pull out a pokeball on her belt.

now usually you'd see me write about how her lycanrocs come out to open up a can of whoopass, but no sir, not this time kiddos. this time, she's releasing a oranguru.

"protect the people, first and foremost! i'll worry about damage control. and if we have to capture it in order to get it to calm down, then i've got it."

the oranguru with telepathy knew all of this but simply blasted pangoro after pangoro with psychic energy while the girl rattled on. he sat on his derriere and blasted them with energy while fanning his face.

what unintelligent, how disgraceful...

In one way or another, Valerio considered himself a dragon warrior. His affinity to the said types were due to his and his origin’s relationship with them. The sole duty of a dragon slayer was to protect their heritage of protecting humanity from the hands of vicious dragons—by imbibing the power of dragons themselves.

So a threat like a bunch of pangoros was not something Valerio could get intimidated. Summoning his dracozolt into the scene, the dragon-type busted the dozens of chaos-causing pandas with his electric-type moves.

The rocket made his attempt to catch one.
