The Rocket Submarine needed a scrub-down according to Team Rocket's high command. The seat of Team Rocket's power had to look as spick-and-span as possible. Eight brave souls were chosen to clean the outside of the sub.

Splash! The submarine breached the surface, and the hatch to the criminal syndicate's base of operations opened with a clang. A sudden chill erupted in Sootopolis as a primordial cornerstone of the world's history slowly rose from the hatch, a titan capable of blotting out the sun. Seven dots blinked in several patterns as Team Rocket's newest asset, Regice, was deployed.

⠠⠉⠇⠑⠁⠝.

The Regice slid down the submarine and entered the ocean with a splash! The ancient obelisk was gone.

Suddenly, it resurfaced. The treasure bobbed up and down in the ocean like an ice cube. Several Wingulls cawed at it from their perch on the recently resurfaced submarine.

⠠⠙⠊⠑ ⠃⠊⠗⠙⠎.

The Regice blinked at the birds, before firing a Hyper Beam, shooting the birds away. Its dots immediately stopped glowing, becoming dormant as the Regice supervised its colleagues. It was time to clean.

After howard slayte's titanic legend resurfaced like the treasure it was, crashing into the water, from the hatch climbed out a Zarude. Bongo hung off the side of the sub with one hand, the other filled with various cleaning supplies. The box was thrown onto the top of the wet metal, a mop taken out. Using his vines from his Power Whip, Bongo scaled the outside of the ship and started to scrub down the nasty buildup.[break][break]

From the box, a Santa hat that had been mixed in blew in by accident blew in the breeze. It picked up and fluttered off.[break][break]

Then dropped to land perfectly on the top of Regice's head. Like a beautiful tree decorated with tinsel. Majestic.

Following the Regice and Zarude out of the submarine's hatch was one of several Genesect that had been manufactured by the crime organization. This one belonged to Zev Harcourt and was programmed specifically to be a killing machine.[break][break]

In flight mode, it zoomed along the side of the submarine and carefully scraped along the hull with X-SCISSOR. Several Binacle, angered by the disturbance, and smaller barnacles popped off to splash into the water below.[break][break]

Genesect dove into the water after them to sizzle the Two-Handed Pokémon and continue its task on the underbelly of the submarine.

The perturbed Flutter Mane loved nothing more than gnawing on dirty, crusted sheet metal while in its enraged state. Digging its sharp fangs into some that had gathered onto the side of the submarine, which was in desperate need of a cleaning, it savored the flavors as the other eccentric pokemon went to work! There was certainly a bunch of peculiar pokemon in attendance today, a cleaning crew for the gods some may say, but the ancient paradox wouldn't have had it any other way.[break][break]

Having been dislodged from its makeshift chew toy by the Genesect, the ghost type tumbled through the skies momentarily before unleashing bright energies from its ruffles. A DAZZLING GLEAM cut across the side of the now Binacle-free surface, a wish to give it a sleek, beautiful shine.[break][break]

It would have continued to bring a shine to the outsides of the submarine had it not spotted the magnificent Regice, of which it knew nothing other than the fact it explicitly appeared as a popsicle. Yummy, a big, beautiful popsicle that had to have a special flavor due to its ability to move! Having been fed popsicles all the time to calm down, its eyes widened as it shot toward the Regice with all the determination in the world, tongue out to give it a sloppy lick.[break][break]

And then the Flutter mane got stuck on the side of the legendary, unable to dislodge like it had been able to from the sheet metal. But the taste? Glorious, scrumptious, effervescent, never been tasted before, stellar, amazing, delicious.

Kallistatus had lived countless centuries. It had seen the birth of the universe, witnessed Arceus's JUDGEMENT at the moment of creation, and had watched each and every other life-form come into existence, struggle, grow, evolve. It was wise and ancient, patient and keen, and it had dedicated itself to The Visionary because she had dared to show it the affection it knew, on some fundamental, primal, unspoken level, that it deserved but had never received.[break][break]
As it turned out, accepting the love of Naomi Sato meant even the Unown had to wash windows now and again.[break][break]
Kallistatus had never cleaned anything before, but it didn't seem all that difficult. It took a moment to observe the other Pokemon taking part in the task of purging the Rocket Submarine of its various blemishes, scuffs, and stains, then decided that the best method would be to simply conjure a HIDDEN POWER to blast away at the dirty vessel. After all, such an ability had the unique quality of adjusting its type to match the desired outcome. If water was needed to clean, then water would manifest. Easy.[break][break]
It was not so easy. It took several attempts to get a small round window clean. Kallistatus hummed softly, glowing with power. It supposed not even the ability to warp reality could make a chore feel any less...well, like a chore.[break][break]
Humans had it rough.

Sugar the Skitty leisurely strolled across the top of the submarine. Numerous beings of unfathomable power dotted the landscape, alongside beings that should not exist. If this were a television series, or even an anime, there would be people frothing at the mouth to pit the Regice against the Genesect in a battle of power. Could a Flutter Mane beat a Zarude?

Yet she paid them no mind. Yes, give them a wide berth, but there were more important things to attend to. After all, it wasn't every day that her trainer lost track of her. Two peas in a pod. Never one without the other. Yet today would be that sweet, sweet exception. Even with the chill of a winter that should not be, the sun soaked everything in sight with a comforting heat.

A heat that Sugar would take in to the fullest she could. Once she found the driest, cleanest spot possible, she settled onto the dark metal. Hmmm, yes. Just that perfect temperature. And it was only going to get warmer.

Thus, she curled up for a nap. Warm light rays soaked into her pink and cream-colored fur. While the rest of the Pokémon dealt with the problem at hand, she fixed the one within. So long as nothing got too close and disturbed her, she was free to just relax as a feline did.

How was a tiny ball of fur like her supposed to clean a submarine any how?

The Xurkitree was not happy to be here. It wanted to be back in the Ultra Plant, frolicking amidst the thunderstorms and drinking its fill of electricity. Instead, here it was, acting as a glorified power cable, holding an angle grinder and cleaning the detritus off the hull of a submarine. Ugh.

Stupid humans. It missed the Megalopolans. The Megalopolans knew what they were doing. But the humans? Idiots, every single one of them. Especially its owner. If that neanderthal made it charge his mobile phone one more time...

Still. Not like it had a choice. So.

Whirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

Mildly irritated but nevertheless obligated, the Xurkitree carried out its work, silently seething as it set about polishing off the thick layers of dirt and grime clinging to the hull of the submarine. Ugh.

And again. Ugh.

While this wasn't how she was mostly like to spend her day have to clean Wingull's shit but anything beats dealing with the customers at her store right about now. The Regice seemed to take care of those stupid birds so she doubted they would come back anytime soon.

Mirabella and her Gallade helped by clean the top of the submarine itself. Dangerous and Reckless however she wanted to make sure hull was in good place. A few quickly and careful blast of psychic almost of bird dropping were gone. Thus could be easy for the other to clean and polish as they saw fit. Easy work!
