The events of the Ultra Beast War have exposed many subterranean tunnels and cave systems for mining and exploration. The League has warned trainers who embark on these "adventours" of the potential risks of grappling into these caves. After all, spelunking is known to be dangerous, and who knows what lurks in the deep?[break][break][break] [break][break][break]  After receiving their EXPLORER'S KIT & OUTFIT from the Hoenn Adventours company, trainers are encouraged to team up with other trainers to help excavate and navigate the caves. Pick your team of four wisely and head into the caves. Should you make it out in one piece, you may be able to leave with fantastic rewards![break][break][break] OOC EXPLANATIONLIKE THE TOWER CHALLENGE, this event will require teamwork and planning. The caving expeditions your characters will embark on may feature several obstacles and levels that require every single character to coordinate their Pokemon's moves in order to clear them. In particular, this event will have a heavy focus on a POKEMON MOVE'S BASE POWER.[break][break][break] [break][break][break] When your Hoenn Adventour begins, your characters may face a dead-end or a wall to clear or mine. Each tile will feature prompts that the characters and their Pokemon will need to clear in order to break through the wall. Should your characters be successful, they may reveal hidden prizes as they are unearthed.[break][break][break] [break][break][break] Should you clear a level, you will move on to the next. However, other obstacles may interrupt your excavation efforts. Wild Pokemon, odd encounters, and more may interrupt your excavation of the caves.[break][break][break] [break][break][break] RULESPLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES. this event is no traditional raid event; however, there are some rules that can transfer to the tower challenge.[break][break][break] [break][break][break] - all of your characters can participate.
- please provide a tl;dr &/or bold moves + their base power with each post.
- unless stated otherwise in the moderator's post, please only use ONE MOVE per post. you do not need to ROLL unless prompted to in a moderator's post.
- used pokemon moves must have a base power + multi-strike moves will only apply their base power once.
- stat-altering moves and abilities will not affect the base power in this event.
- you have access to all pokemon in your pc.
- there is no locking in of pokemon; you can catch pokemon to help you complete the challenge even after the challenge has started!
- you must team up with three other characters for a total of four characters on a team.
[break][break][break] The event is not scheduled to start for at least another week as shiv creates assets and plans paths for the caves to take. Please be aware that some Hoenn Adventours will feature the same obstacles or challenges.
