The Rustboro City Fire Department had just returned from a particularly fierce blaze near the boundaries of the city and Route 115. The area was infamously known as a hunting ground for the dragons that dwelt in Mt. Meteor. Every once in a while, a trainer would provoke them into starting a fire. This time an entire homestead had been reduced to a heap of smoldering ash and rubble as a result.[break][break]

Regardless, the firefighters would return on this day to find their large brick-stone building inhabited by none other than a dragon's bane: a Fairy-type. Positioned at the center of the courtyard, that acted as a center for the building as a whole, Aethelwyne the Hatterene released a pleasant mist in the air (AROMATHERAPY) as caterers hired by Remiel Calcifet cooked and served meals to the weary firefighters.[break][break]

Remiel himself was not present, of course. But he was sure to let the good people of Rustboro know that the Galarian Embassy, and Galar itself, would support them in such trying times.[break][break]

These were the kind of jobs Laurel liked the most. Ones where her abilities could help without having to be involved in a battle. And after the call to battle where the fire men and women did their job Laurel was there to help them recover. When they would first arrive after a hard she would make sure to use HEAL PULSE on any of them who needed it. [break][break]

Once any injuries were healed up Laurel would follow up with the AROMATHERAPY that was so desperately needed, and the original reason she and the others were hired for. Giving off a soothing smell to help with any burns and aches from the harsh fighting to help them relax. Knowing that the job was easily hard work. [break][break]

Finally to give that one little last bit of help, for those that needed some sleep Laurel was able to make some music with her GRASS WHISTLE to help those that struggled with their sleep. Yeah! She liked this job!

While this was technically a PokeJob, being a Ranger was incentive for him to get involved in this process as well. A house had been set aflame, and all they could do at this point considering it was already in ashes was to provide support for its occupants and soothe the firefighters best they could. Josh's own Florges was releasing Aromatherapy, supporting the others as Josh himself decided to get in on the action.

Firefighting work involved a lot of heavy work, so while he wasn't directly in front of the fires, he spent a great deal of time helping get heavy objects out of the way, lifting the hoses and getting them through difficult spots and just in general trying to play backup best he could. This wasn't his first rodeo in this scenario, so it fell into place for him easily enough.

a refreshing scent of spring and bloom wafts through the air as the comfey makes its rounds around the vicinity.

the job was simple enough that the comfey can act autonomously among other workers of the same job. a soothing break for the firefighters brings ease, all with the aid of the pokemon's aromatherapy.

the comfey continues to wander around, bringing peace to whichever sector it sees that needs it.

Quiet had helped with tasks like this before for Killian. Never quite so publicly, however. Still, she doesn't mind being helping.
