They crystalize, dangling from the ends like icicles, little bits of rose quartz that glint in later afternoon sun.[break][break] It's so pretty— and then she sneezes, like a kitten, and any semblance of elegance is ruined.[break][break] Remiel Calcifet's hand is gratefully accepted, but Luka stumbles in the deep snow when he pulls her to her feet. She falls against his chest and stays there, for even if he's freezing himself, it's still much warmer when snuggled next to his heart.[break][break] "You're right," she says, clinging to the front of his coat. "We should—" But MATIAS SILPH's invitation pricks in her ears, and she casts a sidelong glance in his direction. Remiel is lovely, and she doesn't want to part with him so soon. But...[break][break] A week ago she thought she'd be spending the holidays alone in her apartment with a bowl of cup noodles. But now, being around so many people, able to laugh and play and bask in the warmth of their presence...greedily, she doesn't want to give that up just yet. It's very cheering to have friends. andres buenaventura notwithstanding...but she tries not to think about that right now.[break][break] Her mind made up, Luka glances up at Remiel with an apologetic smile and a silent promise that they can still spend some time together afterwards. "Do you mind if we join you?" she asks Matias and Eva Morales. "Just for a mug, to warm up!"[break][break] Before they can head off silver hair catches her eye, lovely as ever, and she's glad to see that Remi Cassel survived the snowball assault.[break][break] "I'm okay now," she answers, peeking out from around Remiel with a warm smile. Remy and Remi...heh. " A bit cold, though. We're going to try and warm up...oh! Why don't you join us?" she offers, even though it's probably not her place to do so.[break][break] Her Pokémon gather around her feet, also ready to head out. There's something sparkling in Bonbon's paws: Remi's lost earrings, which she hands to the woman with a pleased squeak. [break][break]
