GYM DETAILS
FALLARBOR TOWN'S gym is designed to test a trainer's ability to ASSESS THREATS, and RESPOND ACCORDINGLY, all while under the pressure of limited time and resources. Designed to replicate a more condensed SLATEPORT CITY, the massive stadium will host an incredibly realistic scenario of a city under siege. Whether it is ultra-beasts, legendary pokemon, or even an organization like Team Rocket - nothing is off the table.

To create these scenarios, Greyson uses a number of his Zorua and Zoroarks, and even paid actors/actresses to replicate the feeling of realism. Challengers will be under STRICTorders to not harm any civilians, permanently damage the environment, or performs acts to get themselves or others killed. Any specific directions or instructions will be given through the many, many cameras and microphones placed throughout the field.[break][break]
It is capable of hosting a number of different biomes, though these are typically only used in the event of a repeat challenger, or the more traditional battling method. These are smaller, more personal fields, designed to test a trainers ability to adapt to different terrains. Expect the unexpected.[break][break][break]

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE
 The OBJECTIVE of this gym is simple: prove competency under high-pressure scenarios, make nearly impossible decisions that affect real lives, and break through your own limits. Should you prove yourself capable, you'll receive the REQUIEM BADGE.[break][break][break]
FORMAT: TRADITIONAL (A)

- 1 vs 2 / 2 vs 3
- The challenger must choose one of their own Pokémon to act as a 'DEFENSELESS CITZEN' in a twist on the childhood game of 'Protect the President'. They are tasked with defending this non-combatant from harm, all while fending off attacks, or going by going on the offensive themselves. Loss of their non-combatant does not constitute a defeat necessarily, as they will be judged on a number of factors.
- The 'DEFENSELESS CITZEN' must be a separate pokemon (from your sign-ups), and they cannot use any abilities, movesets, or be used as a method of transportation. Their entire goal is to 'survive' until the completion of the task.

- A fight with overwhelming odds placed upon you. You will either rise to the challenge, or fall and be forgotten. This is a test of WILL and the ability of the challenger to make concise decisions in the face of a threat that seems impossible to overcome.

FORMAT: NON-TRADITIONAL
- Up to SIX Pokémon can be brought to this challenge, however, no more than TWO can be fielded at any one time. this rule is subject to change during the challenge!
- The challenger will be thrown in a large-scale scenario and given QUESTS/PROMPTS they must complete. As these prompts are completed, the city will begin to STABALIZE. Once the city has been fully stabilized, the challenge will be complete.
- Challengers will be judged on the decisions they make along the way, including their methods of completing the task, as well as other criteria only the proctor themselves will be privy too.
- While not guaranteed to happen, the Challenger's specific choices could very well trigger a PERK. These could either hinder, or help the Challenger.
- Due to the nature of this challenge, threads make take months at a time! If this is not something you wish to go through, please choose an easier option.

‣ If a Challenger does not reply within' 30 DAYS they are subject to having their thread archived. This is not a hard-rule, and can be mitigated through a short conversation.

‣ No known members of Rocket are authorized to challenge this gym. So far this list includes Serena Malcolm.

‣ Challengers are NOT allowed to permanently harm, maim, or kill. Furthermore, no-one is to cause permanent destruction or damage, or act with blatant disregard for the area around them.

‣ No legendries, ultra beasts, etc. are allowed to be fielded without prior approval. This includes AVATAR ABILITIES. Communicating with your legendary through telepathy, or some other form that does NOT require having it on the field is AUTHORIZED.
