Well this felt a little unfair.

Liza-Liza's tail whipped out, trapping the ice-types with her Fire Spin as her flames exploded across the entrance to the cave like something something out of Die Hard. One of the Glaceon was a little to close to the impact site, taking heavy burns from the flames.

Spotting the prefect target, Locke fished out a Pokéball and chucked it at the weakened Eeveelution while the rest of the swarm retreated further into Shoal Cave.

A report of an eevee explosion hit the man’s new feed rather quickly. And although the scarred man wasn’t really the type to want a glaceon, he couldn’t help his desire to know why and maybe even capture an eevee or two. Much to Mav’s experience with Shoal Cave, the bone chilling cave was not only dark but extremely cold too. Warm gaze flickered over the shadows of the darkness, spotting a few eevee and even witnessed a fox pokemon evolve into a glaceon much like a Christmas Miracle to see in person.

A low purr sounded off next to him, gaze flickered to see his own eeveelution meowing to the rest. This of course, got some of their attention. A few fleeing into the darkness of nothing while a few others came straight up to his umbreon and began grooming each other. A smile tugged the edges of his lips, kneeling down to pet the friendly ones that would let him. Some seemed fine, while others were hesitant. Either way, the man relished the moment before he would catch one.

Like always he got the ping for an active swarm.

Like any other time there was an eevee swarm, he headed straight there.

He watched, he recorded, he attempted a capture.

He even took some joy in the other trainers in awe of the sight.

With the eerie aligning of the stars that had Giada , Remi and Sagira all in the region at the same time he felt like he was being haunted by the GHOST OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST.

It was nice to sit with a joyful moment and clear his head, even if he didn't catch one of these icy beauties for himself.

Glaceons were adorable. Just like her Sylveon.

Which absolutely meant that Jessie needed one. One hundred percent.

She wandered into the Shoal Cave, shivering from the sudden drop in temperature. However, it seemed perfect for the swarm of Glaceons rummaging about. Her heart absolutely grew three sizes that very moment. Not that she was a grinch, of course.

"How freaking adorable!"

Since he didn’t want to be Home Alone in the… in the back room of a Pokémon Center spending yet another year alone Adam had decided to make the hike to Shoal Cave.

It was relatively easy getting there, what with a lot of people suddenly streaming into the place, wanting to get their hands on a Glaceon or two.

In fact it was one of the reasons why there was a lot of foot traffic at Shoal Cave right now: there was an entire gaggle of Glaceon in the locale, and practically all of Hoenn was descending to try and catch one for themselves!

…well, who knew if he was going to get lucky.

Waiting until the crowd thinned out, he readied an empty Pokéball, chucking it at the closest Pokémon that was most likely wandering off alone.

Unlike most, Jayda was here today with the intention of getting some samples from the cave to use on one of her new contraptions, and of course pick up the occasional wild pokémon along the way. She hadn't anticipated running into a swarm of glaceon here. Hell there were even some eevee to boot. [break][break]

Always the opportunist she decided to take a little detour from her plans for a moment to attempt to catch something special. 'Tis the season and all that. "Osiris, think you can help me catch one of these guys?" her lucario nodded pretty confidently which made her smile. [break][break]

"Great, let's get to it then." she said with a glint in her eye before Osiris dashed off towards the swarm. With his helping hand and her lucky aim she prayed she'd be able to catch one as she tossed a pokeball at one of the wild pokémon. [break][break]

There was no other need to step foot outside in the flury of frozen flakes aside from allowing Jack frost the opportunity to nip at his nose. True, he could have taken time to enjoy the frozen over waters an perhaps snap a few photos of scenic beauty and marvel at nture's majesty. Okay, so he recended the previous thought, there were various reasons why he would have stepped foot outside and braved the weather.

He'd been listening to 'Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer' when the radio broadcast clued him into the swarming Eevee. After parking his car in the garage, he flew over at once for his chance.

Being the curious and gentle creatures they were, walking among them was easier than most. The chance to lob a pokeball at a group of them is easily found, though they remain jumpy and nimble—a result of the incessant hounding of trainers vying for a chance at owning one.

reve’s curious about the glaceon he’s heard about nearby. he likes the little creatures, and at least wants to go see them. reve is fond of them, and he has nothing better to do, after all. maybe later that night he’d go home and curl up to watch a christmas story or whatever other movies were on tv.

Jack Frost was nipping at his nose as Josh returned to Shoal Cave to check on the carrot he had planted. But it was to be that he would find a swarm of Eevee and Glaceon, and many other trainers poking around to boot. Wearing a santa outfit in place of his coat, which was unfortunately in the wash, it would at least keep him warm as he observed the group with a curious eye.

Perhaps he should try throwing a Pokeball?

Wet and cold, shoal Cave wasn't exactly Finnley's favorite location. However, the calls of adventure rang in his heart, jolting his Body forward with each step through it's rocky terrian.

Trekking down Shoal Cave wasn’t an unfamiliar experience for the ice specialist. This was the only place that was cool enough to host ice types in all of Hoenn. Sometimes his babies needed a break from the heat, so he walked them here. Today, however, it’s not the usual lonely sort of walk. Today its crowded with tones of other trainers scouting and scurrying, slipping and sliding through ice depths. Mint did alright, his boots with their nice tread kept form from falling ass over tea kettle. It’s nice to see people, and its even more fun to see the sudden influx of Eevee. He kinda wanted one.

Still, he mostly just wanted to find a spot Gelatto could relax in. All the noise and people and extra pokemon were putting him on edge. “Aw buddy, maybe we should’ve stayed home today huh? Order a pizza…drink some wine…just like Kevin from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.” Mint said to his partner as the Ninetails whined. “Yup, height of luxury.”

Sugar, like...she has to evolve someday, right?[break][break]

Her Eevee hasn't taken a liking to any evolutionary stones. Nor the ice or mossy rocks Luka's surreptitiously tried to introduce the little fox to. All things in time...maybe she'll never evolve, and that's okay too.[break][break]

But the Glaceon in this cave are all so cute! Though the few that swarm around herself and Sugar seem to be sizing the smaller up, turning their noses up at the Eevee. Though Sugar seems nonplussed and would rather groom herself than socialize, Luka can't help but think of Rudolph and the reindeer games...[break][break]

Maybe Sugar will evolve to have a big red nose? No...that's ridiculous.[break][break]
