Had Greyson Connors actually hit the target? Angelo hadn't been too sure. One of his Dreepy had wiggled from his jacket depths to curl around his neck at the time and he'd gotten a tail to the face.

He wouldn't rat the gym leader out if he had actually missed. There was a respect of debt between them.

Not enough to save him from being targeted by Angelo's next pitch, however.
